About Copper Fit Tough Knees

Whether you’re an accomplished athlete or an average person, Copper Fit Tough Knees is a compression support sleeve with padded protection that can be worn anytime to support your knees and reduce recovery time.

Regardless of the activity, Copper Fit Tough Knees combines three powerful technologies to “take on the pain from tough work and tough play”:

  • A blend of 82% polyester, 14% spandex jersey, and 4% copper ion fiber to naturally reduce odors
  • Targeted compression for soothing support
  • A thin-profile, form-fitting gel pad that absorbs impact from hard surfaces, along with anti-static and anti-piling materials

This way, Copper Fit claims Tough Knees gives you “all the support and compression you want, with the padded knee protection you need.”

Just how much pain relief (whether from muscle soreness, or other types of aches and pains), improved circulation, and reduced muscle recovery time will you experience with Copper Fit Tough Knees? And when it comes down to it, will the level of pain relief be worth the money?

These are just a couple of the important topics we’ll address in this review. To kick things off, let’s look at the compression provided by Copper Fit Tough Knees, along with its copper fibers.

Is Compression Effective? What About Copper-Infused Fibers?

Compression wear is designed to provided targeted compression (it squeezes specific parts of your body), which in turn can increase blood flow and circulation and support muscles.

In The Science of Compression Wear, we briefly talked about the fact that consumer-grade compression products like Copper Fit Tough Knees were born out of medical-grade garments. Often times, these medical garments would be prescribed to post-operative patients to help oxygenate different areas and speed up the wound healing process, with different compression levels available (measured in mmHg).

Compared to these garments, which are often fitted by a trained professional, consumer-grade compression wear is generally only available in a handful of sizes (S-XL, for example), and in only one level of compression. So, although these products technically fall under the compression wear umbrella, it could be the case that you won’t experience the same benefits as medical-grade products.

What about Copper Fit Tough Knees’ copper ion fibers? Similar to the compression we just discussed, copper does provide some benefit here; specifically, it prevents the buildup of bacteria and the resultant odors. However, the copper won’t provide any additional compression, circulation, or other benefits.

Given everything we’ve discussed, as long as you keep your expectations realistic, Copper Fit Tough Knee could be exactly what you’re looking for. But will it cost too much?

Is Copper Fit Tough Knees’ Price Tough On the Wallet?

Two Copper Fit Tough Knee sleeves are priced at $19.99 plus $6.99 S&H.

As with most Idea Village products, Tough Knee comes with a 30-day refund policy, less S&H charges. In order to request one, you’ll need to call customer service at 866-596-0932.

Before moving on, let’s quickly talk about Idea Village’s arbitration agreement.

Is Binding Arbitration a Good Idea?

Although it’s extraordinarily common in today’s marketplace, including everything from cell phone contracts to employment agreements, binding arbitration means that instead of taking the company to court, you’ll have to go through private arbitration. And in a lot of cases, these arbitration proceedings tend to favor the company instead of the consumer.

Should you agree to Idea Village’s arbitration agreement? Ultimately, that’s only something you can answer, but at least you have what you need to make a more informed decision.

How Does Tough Knees Stack Up Against the Competition?

There are so many different padded knee sleeves out there—from your local mom-and-pop sporting goods store to mega-giant online retailers—that it boggles the mind. Available in just about any color, shape, size, or design, and with almost any imaginable feature, you literally have thousands of padded knee sleeves to choose from.

After you begin exploring, you’ll quickly find that many of these options are also priced about the same as Copper Fit Tough Knees, especially when you factor in the fairly high, non-refundable S&H charges. And if purchased locally, you have the added benefits of 1) holding the product in your hand before buying, and 2) making the return process as easy as hopping in your car.

Considering everything we’ve talked about here, should you go ahead and buy Copper Fit Tough Knees?

How Much Will You Benefit From Copper Fit Tough Knees?

Sometimes, we think like we sound like a broken record, but it’s important to underscore that after hundreds of As Seen On TV product reviews, one of the most important lessons we’ve learned is that your expectations largely dictate how satisfied you’ll be. After all, these companies are masters at selling, so keeping your expectations realistic is of the utmost importance.

Will Copper Fit Tough Knees provide any benefits? This depends on a huge range of unknown factors—everything from what’s causing your discomfort to your personal preferences regarding comfort. But needless to say, it’s certainly possible.

The Copper Fit line of products, including Socks, Back, Smart Balm, and more, seems to have a middle-of-the-road customer reputation here on HighYa, with an average rating of about 2.5 stars. Common compliments are that they work well, while others complained about failure to work and poor product quality.

Does this necessarily mean that Tough Knees is a solid value? Again, only you can decide what constitutes a good value, but suffice it to say that you have hundreds of other padded knee sleeves to choose from, a lot of which are about the same price (or less). So, if you’re looking to score an effective compression garment at the lowest possible price, it might pay off to explore all your options before placing an order.

    Do not buy!

I have not tried the knees as of yet but I have been waiting on them for four months at least and every time I try to call in to fix the problem they run me around the block and promise that they will be delivered right away and they never are.

I had received a package after two months but of course it was the incorrect order and after 4 months they still insist they have done nothing wrong and will not even give me their most recent deal that is still in effect.

I would not recommend buying these EVER they are not worth the trouble even if they do work.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I would give no stars, but that's not an option. I couldn't find my knee brace, so I stopped in Rite Aid to buy a Copper Fit knee brace and my knee was worse off at the end of the day. I don't recommend this product to anyone, don't waste your money. Although, I have a feeling they've already scammed enough people out of their hard earned money already.

    Brett Farve lies again!

I love walking, but was experiencing knee pain, so I purchased the Copper Fit Knee Brace. It took a long, long time to get here. I put it on and felt no compression whatsoever because the bands at the top and bottom are so tight. I do not have fat legs, so that is not the problem, it is the construction of the brace. This is the second item my husband and I purchased that Brett Favre has endorsed that is no good. The other product was the special razor blades for a minimal cost, but that razor does not last.

I would never ever buy anything that Brett Favre endorses. What a crock, you should be ashamed Brett Favre!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
