Subscription canceled, they took my money

I canceled my subscription with Curology in May; I have the screenshot where it says "are you sure you want to cancel?" I clicked yes, then it said "you will be missed." They took money out of my bank account for this month when I already canceled, so of course, they don't have a phone number you can call, you have to email them, and I did. They said someone will get back to you in 48-72 hours. So I sent another email asking for someone to get back to me today as this is my money they took. No one responded. Post poor customer service. I will never recommend them, and their product didn't even help me.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Never bought from

I have never bought from this company. I checked my bank balance and I saw Curology as deducting $4.95 out of my account. I emailed them to ask who they are and what they sell. No response still. I’m beyond irritated.

Fake product

A waste of money, no benefits or change to my skin in 10 weeks, still the same. And I’ve paid more than 100 bucks to this cheap scam. Don’t fall for it. I’ve emailed the dermatologist like five times and she says ok next time I’ll improve the medication in the bottle so ship it now and pay again $40 for the new two-month supply, which only lasts for one month.

Scam artists at work

I am not one to write reviews, and I even gave this company multiple chances to make my experience right, and they dismissed me every time. I am WARNING anyone interested! DO NOT subscribe! The worst customer service experience I've EVER had, and if you are looking for something similar for a better price, anything with niacinamide will help greatly. Do your research, you'll see!

I signed up for a free trial almost a year ago and canceled immedietly because it was overpriced and I found a better product for a more reasonable price and I was moving. They randomly resubscribed me months later without my consent and began to charge my account. Of course, I never received the product because as I mentioned, I moved away. They refused to listen to logic and the clear paper trail of evidence. SCAMMERS. Beware!

Don’t waste your money!

SCAM! I tried this product for three months based on others reviews and the company saying "give it time to work," it doesn’t work! I then tried to take my payment information off of their website to cancel my subscription and they kept charging me anyway. They refused to process a refund or stop the shipping of products after I emailed them several times. They only have email support (they take their sweet time to respond) and no actual phone number to contact. Now I have bottles of this trash ($40 a bottle) sitting here unused that will not be used. Waste of money!

Ruined my skin

The medicine from Curology completely destroyed my skin. I do not have sensitive skin and have never had a problem or reaction to any acne medication or wash in the past. I was so hopeful for this to work, but it only made things significantly worse. My skin started to peel and bleed at even the slightest scratch (like if I had an itch on my face). For weeks, I had scabs that were trying to heal but couldn’t because they so easily peeled off and would start to bleed again. I kept using the first round of medication for 7 weeks. They insisted that I needed to keep trying for at least 6 weeks before they would prescribe something new, despite me sending them photos of my face red and bleeding. They finally told me to stop the medication, allow some time, and start a new mixture. I tried this for a few more weeks and the exact same thing happened. My face started peeling, bleeding, scabbing, and eventually scarring.

It has been about 5 weeks since I stopped that second round and my face is finally returning to, sort of, what it was like before Curology and weirdly I am so thankful for that. My skin isn’t great or clear of acne (which is the whole reason I tried Curology), but I’ll take this any day over what Curology did to my skin.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Very bad experience, and it's your skin so don't mess it up because they don't care

I think this is the second not nice review I write in my whole life but I want to make sure it doesn't happen to someone else. The problem is how they treat you as a customer and they don't reply to you to solve your problem when you email them (which is the only way to contact them) or anything, they just want your money.

I had a problem with the product not working well on my skin (I have the messages with my consultant talking about that matter), so my consultant said we can change the formula whenever I decide to get back as I paused it. A few months later my card was charged for a two-month supply and I was sent the old formula forcefully, which was bad for my skin.

Customer service is horrible. I emailed them when their formula was being created, before it was even shipped, to make sure they don't send it because it's not right, but to mention I didn't order it and it was paused until January (not if their calendar glitches or doesn't update, that's their system's problem because that's what they'll tell you), and no one replied. I emailed again when it said shipped and they replied days later saying they do no refund although they charged me and sent me a wrong formula for $39. I emailed again asking for someone I can contact to fix this and they said they told me all they need to tell me (didn't even bother to fix the formula at least to match my skin or work something for me as a person they took her money) and haven't provided me with anyone who can fix this.

They don't care about ruining your skin, they just want the money, so I definitely don't recommend it. If you care about your skin, don't use them because they'll send you WHATEVER just like they did to me, and that's your skin, so don't mess it up because they wouldn't care to answer you back even if they did. Please...

Don’t do it. Just don’t.

The only reason I am writing this is to help others avoid going through what I went through. I started the trial because of the reviews, but come to think of it the only reviews on their site are good reviews because they FILTER them. The actual treatment DID NOT WORK and made me break out in cystic acne, which I’ve never had before, and then to make matters worse, when I tried to cancel because I was having allergic reactions, they still charged me for the 2-month bottle and shipped it out to me. They ignored my email regarding the situation. They have the worst customer service and product. I feel so discourage and so bad about myself because of them. I can’t believe I actually trusted fake and paid reviews. Just don’t waste your time, go to an actual dermatologist.

This is the worst mistake I ever made.

I ordered this because it was a free trial and I was breaking out. I canceled the trial right away so that I would not forget, and it said I could restart at any time. If the treatment went well, I would restart.

My skin cleared up in a matter of DAYS. Then, suddenly I have cystic acne which I've never had before. Just as other reviews have said. Just as my best friend who now lives in New York and wasn't here to stop me from doing internet trials.

Then I got an email saying my second bottle had shipped? What a nightmare. And they're denying I canceled my subscription when I literally did it immediately after ordering.

Seriously. This is a MESS. These other responses have to be paid. They tell you that your skin is just adjusting? This has done permanent damage to my face. I am terrified.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Terrible customer service!

I decided to give it a try. Everything went ok, but I never noticed a difference in my skin, so I requested to cancel the subscription. I have requested a refund multiple times, emailed them multiple times, and I never received a reply. They don't have the decency to answer you back. They also don't have a phone number to talk to a real person, which is absolutely ridiculous. Good luck!

Worst experience ever!

I wish I would have read these reviews because this is exactly what happened to me! The formula didn’t work, I canceled my membership, was still charged, sent several emails (when I finally labeled one urgent it was answered almost five days after the initial email). They say they refund within the first 90 days if you’re not happy, this is a lie. I literally had to go as far as calling my credit card company and informing them of what happened. Now, my bank has blocked all charges from this terrible company. And I emailed that I was doing so in which I was told they would issue a refund only this once. Which is completely against what their 90-day satisfaction policy is. To add to the financial irritation, my skin literally broke out in an allergic reaction and we are talking hives. I don’t typically have sensitive skin, but it felt like I was pouring a chemical fire on my face. I am glad I stopped using it sooner rather than later!
