Horrible Company

By Ciara, Waterford, MI, Verified Reviewer

Did a 30 day trial and canceled way before the time that it required. I go to check my bank account and my card has been charged $52. I wrote emails but didn't get anything back from them. Except for them saying I had a second account open, which is not the case. I never opened another one and I only have one email. I want my money refunded. If it isn't refunded I will take legal actions against this company. I have proof that I canceled my account.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Misrepresented -- it is $62.00 per month.

By Jeff, Olympia, Verified Reviewer

Joined with free trial after which it is advertised as 14.95 per month. Just talked to my bookkeeper -- I have been billed 62.00 per month. No notice. Also, as is normal with these dishonest companies, no customer service, you can only contact them via e-mail. A shame.

Do not join unless you're ok with paying 62 per month for pre recorded routines with some live streams.

Great workouts, terrible store

By Delara, Los Angeles, CA, Verified Reviewer

I had no problem signing up and downgrading from the trainer upgrade when I realized I didn't have the time to use it, and I really enjoy the workouts. In fact, I did a great little pilates number this morning and I feel great!

Unfortunately, the customer service is a joke. The only way to contact them is by email. And there is only ONE email address. So when an influx of valid complaints about their sketchy billing practices overwhelms them, which seems to be the case, there appears to be no one available to take care of my simple return request for an unused item purchased from the store. It's been five days and no response.

Advice for new members: do not purchase items from the daily burn store, get them from Amazon instead, a professional retailer with a proper return policy.

I have canceled my account in protest. Not looking forward to contacting them next month when they continue to take money out of my account!

Total scam

By Steve , Key West, FL

They inundate you with emails to update your registration and of course their site content is limited without paying for an upgrade, then when you forget to cancel, they keep your money.

Billing Ripoff

By Trina Smith, North Carolina, Verified Reviewer

After cancelling the subscription, I was billed for an additional year of service. When I attempted to contact billing the only way is by email. The note on the contact email says it is a 3-4 day turn around.

Very usable, very efficient

By Lois , Georgia

I am only in my third week of Daily Burn, but I really like it so far. It is very convenient, and I am able to fit the 30 minute or so workouts into my schedule well. I hated going to the gym, but now I get to workout in the privacy of my home. The videos are like having your own personal trainers. I lost 5 pounds in 16 days, and that is without changing my diet in any significant way. I like that they do short, intense bursts of cardio, combined with weights and core exercises. You get a great workout in the short period of time. I am still on the 30 day free trial, but I definitely think the $10 per month will be worth it.

Perfect for anyone and everyone

By Sammy , Colorado

I did this program about 9 months ago, had it about 6 months and loved it. I wasn't disciplined enough and had bought a new program so got rid of my "membership" but I just joined again. If you are diligent you'll see great results. I love the Tabata. Cody is awesome. I did the first workout and couldn't walk for two days, those moves are seriously hard but so fun, and it's a great work out. I love that it lays everything out for you. Worth it.

Not happy

By Ckbj, Ohio, Verified Reviewer

It is very misleading. It was suppose to be $12.99 a month and I just checked my credit card and I was billed $65.00. I will be calling them tomorrow. I don't like how they lead me to believe it was $12.99. The workouts are not bad if they were $12.99, not $65.00.

It works for me

By Retta , Denver, CO

Right now I'm on my third month using DailyBurn and I've seen a big difference. I love that they have shorter workout outs for people who may not have a lot of time. The workouts are both fun and challenging, with personal trainers that were upbeat.

I did however have a concern with the billing as I was billed more than the website said the standard prescription fee was. However, after sending them a email saying I was angry about change in price, it didn't take them long to refund the difference and keep me on the plan I wanted.

Terrible, Unethical Company

By Nicole Shannon, Verified Reviewer

As with many other reviewers, I canceled my subscription in April and continued to be charged. I emailed the company (what business doesn't have a phone line?) and they responded by saying that she saw that I had canceled in April, and that they showed no record of having billed me. She went on to say that it must be that I had another account open with the same billing, and must have forgotten to cancel that one as well.

First, they're talking my money, and now they're implying that this is my error! I sent a screen shot of my bank statement showing that I was still being billed, and have yet to hear back. I will not let this go. I don't have the extra money to forget this problem, which is why I canceled in the first place! Terrible business on past with that sham company.

Great Workouts & Meal Plans, Bad Technical Kinks

By Christina , Longmeadow, MA

I love the workouts and meal plans provided. I'm seeing a difference. But, I use my Amazon Fire and Playstation 3 with the app on there to do my workouts. It doesn't register my workout on my profile. So it looks like I'm doing nothing.

If they would fix this problem, so that my completed workouts would sync correctly between different devices' apps and my profile, I would give it 5 stars. Right now, I have to run the workout on my computer WHILE I'm doing the workout on the app so it registers. It's very annoying.

I did not have any billing issues, and was billed as advertised for their program.
