About Dead Sea Moringa

Dead Sea Moringa is a nutritional supplement that claims to provide an immediate boost of nutrients, which can be beneficial for individuals suffering from a wide range of conditions, including arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and more. In addition, the primary ingredient (Moringa) is known for its “anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-allergenic, and anti-oxidant properties.”

Dead Sea Moringa is manufactured by My Olive Tree, which appears to be a ministry-based company founded by Curt Landry. Neither Dead Sea Moringa nor My Olive Tree is listed with the Better Business Bureau, and online customer reviews are essentially non-existent. This could be due to the fact that Dead Sea Moringa is a relatively new product, with its trademark having just been registered in January 2014.

How Dead Sea Moringa Works

According to the company’s website, Moringa is a leafy green plant that is native to the Himalayan mountains, and is “considered by many to be the most nutrient rich plant food source found on earth.” Moringa contains a unique combination of amino acids, nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, and is claimed to be a “best-kept secret” in the nutritional industry.

Dead Sea Moringa (like the name implies) is grown in the “mineral rich” soil of the Dead Sea region, which possibly makes it more beneficial (higher concentrations of minerals like Omega 3, 6 and 9 and vitamin E) than other Moringa products on the market. Dead Sea Moringa is purported to consist of 47 antioxidants and 30% protein, and is claimed to contain 700% more vitamin C than an orange, 300% more iron than spinach, 400% more calcium than milk, and more.

The company claims that Dead Sea Moringa can “take affect (sic) immediately,” though you should continue taking it for at least six months in order to receive optimum benefits. Among these include increased energy and alertness, better endurance, and boosted focus and mental clarity. Furthermore, individuals suffering from arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and many more could benefit from the nutrients found in Dead Sea Moringa.

Based on the product’s website, no documented side effects are known, but it is definitely unsafe for pregnant women to use any type of Moringa-based supplement.

Dead Sea Moringa Pricing & Refund Policy

You can currently purchase a 30-day supply of Dead Sea Moringa for $49.95, plus $6.35 flat rate shipping. Alternately, you can have your package sent via USPS for $12.35, or earn free shipping by ordering a six-month supply.

Important note: The checkout screen on the Dead Sea Moringa website can be a little confusing, so be sure to pay close attention to the different options located below your total. The website will default to “Credit Card (Renewable),” which appears to mean that you’ll be signed up for the company’s autoship program. However, we were unable to confirm this anywhere on the website.

However, if you want to place your order and not be signed up for the autoship program, be sure to click on the “Credit Card (1x transaction)” radio button just below. Alternately, you can pay by eCheck or via PayPal.

Any unopened bottle of Dead Sea Moringa can be returned for a full refund (less shipping and handling fees) within 30 days. Simply call 855-208-6204 or email info@deadseamoringa.com to begin the process. Outside of this, no additional refund information was made available.

Bottom Line: Is Dead Sea Moringa a Scam?

Now that you know a little more about Dead Sea Moringa, what’s the bottom line: is the supplement a scam? Let’s take a look a the facts.

First, if you haven’t already read our recent Garcinia Cambogia Buyer’s Guide, go ahead and take a look. Here, you’ll find some fairly detailed information about what to look for in any supplement, as well as what you should pay attention to regarding the manufacturer.

With this in mind, one potential red flag that signals a less than reputable product is broad, vague, difficult to define language, and the Dead Sea Moringa website certainly includes a lot of this. For example, the Benefits page is sprinkled with phrases such as “potentially good supplement,” “may be the real deal,” “may be a useful supplement for individuals with…,” “reported benefits,” and more. In other words, no specific studies are referenced on the company’s website to support their claims, other than the brief mention of an Alternative Action for African Development (AGADA)/Church World Service case study in 1997-98, which only references an increase in infant weight gain and in their mothers’ lactation.

Another red flag we mentioned in our Garcinia Cambogia guide is that if a supplement manufacturer does not provide an image of the bottle’s label or an ingredient list, move on to the next one. This is something that you’re putting in your body, and you deserve to have its ingredients clearly outlined. Given this, there are several small images on the Dead Sea Moringa website that read “100% Moringa Oleifera,” but this should definitely be made “official” by spelling it out for consumers via a label or list. Also, there is no information about the growing, processing, or manufacturing processes on the company’s website, which is yet another red flag.

Finally—and perhaps most importantly—according to this WebMD article, despite the length of time Moringa has been used and the number of purported benefits it may or may not provide, there is insufficient evidence to support any claims made by any of its manufacturers.

With all of this in mind, in addition to Dead Sea Moringa’s fairly high price, we would recommend caution. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, be sure to consult with your physician.

I have much Inflammation. Dead Sea Moringa has helped decrease inflammation when the rest of the supplements I took did for a short while and then nothing. Blood tests have shown significant decrease to the doctor's surprise. To me it just helps my body do what it should do since our food is void of those things.

This article purports that the Dead Sea Moringa is manufactured by Olive Tree Ministries, which is not at all true. Dead Sea Moringa is grown in Israel, of course near the dead sea. The Moringa is a nutrient dense product of its high vitamin and mineral content. It is grown in Israel under the most stringent conditions in the world and is a top notch product. Israel is known world wide for the volume and quality of its top rated agricultural products.

I trust Israeli agricultural products over any other agricultural products in the world. This article does Israel and Moringa a huge disservice and in its attempt to denigrate the product, it turned out to be grossly inaccurate. I have used Dead Sea Moringa for at least two years and have great well being results. It can also be purchased through other avenues, some, at cheaper prices.
