Our dogs LOVE LOVE Dr. Marty Nature Blend. If I could I would put it on auto delivery, however, the cost is way too high. That's why I gave it a 4-star rating. However, our dogs start crying an hour before feed time. At first I thought it was a full moon. When I realized it was the food they wanted it made me feel great that I had finally found a dog food they loved. They just wanted to even eat it dry. If you can afford the cost then, by all means, buy it. Your dogs will love it.

I just got my new dog's food delivered here. I put 1/4 cup of food in her glass bowl, and she immediately ate most of it. We both like the small rounded pieces. The Stella & Chewy food she had in the past either crumbled or had to be pulled apart and was much drier. This food she loves. My doggie is a 7-lb toy poodle.

30 bucks for 16 oz? This is ridiculously high! They should be ashamed of themselves! I have a small dog, but he would finish one bag in 2 days. I can’t imagine if I had a big dog. This company claims it cuts out the middle man to keep the price down, yet is way more expensive than just about every dog food on the market. Even as a topper, it’s too much!

Magic Momo Superdog got her first chunk of Dr. Marty's dog food and almost immediately started performing self-directed indoor dog agility moves to earn more - without me cuing her to do so. She even growled softly to show her excitement - first doing backside jumps, then jump-turn-left moves. I was amazed.

Momo has been trained to have high obstacle focus, so this was natural for her to do. But she has never shown so much speed and excitement to earn a single morsel of dog food!

I placed an order after watching Dr. Marty's video and purchased 3 bags. At the time of the order, I was offered an additional 3 bags for a reduced price. I decided to forgo that offer until I try out the food for a month and see if my dog enjoyed it. However, less than 3 hours after, I discovered that the 3 bags I ordered wouldn't last me a month. So, I called customer service and asked for the additional bags thinking that as a first-time customer they would be more than willing to help me. I was told that I could not add the bags, so I asked to cancel my order. I was also told no. Keep in mind that I called less than 3 hours after my initial purchase. I received an email shortly after saying that my order had been shipped and the body of the email said there was a tracking number, but there was none. I waited 21 days for the order and finally sent an email asking about the delay to which I received no reply. The order arrived 28 days after I ordered. The food is great, but the customer service is horrible. I have purchased dog food from Fromm and Primal and they have superb customer service. My dog is a picky eater and loves Dr. Marty's Nature Blend but I will never order from a company that only responds to positive feedback on Facebook and doesn't answer emails of concern.

I decided to try Dr. Marty's to see if it made a difference in my dog's vitality. It has! She is 10 years old and acts like she's a lot younger. I agree that it is expensive, however, I mix her old dog food with it so I am able to stretch it out. A 16 oz bag will last a week as opposed to 3 days. I feed her 1 full cup in the am and 1 full cup in the pm. She cannot wait to eat her food. She will often keep licking her bowl in hopes she might have missed something. She NEVER did that with her old dog food. Overall, I would like to find a more cost-effective freeze-dried food but have not found one that is as clean and simple as Dr. Marty's. Perhaps mixing with other dog food and not giving just Dr. Marty's might help with the cost for others. For my pooch, right now, I will keep doing what I am doing.

My last order was for $488 and I ordered it December 24, 2019, two weeks before I needed it. I got an email that it was shipped on December 27, but when I checked the tracking number on January 1 it said "status not available". I called the company and they blamed it on USPS, saying it should be coming soon. After seeing "status not available" again today (January 2), I called back. They offered to resend it, which would take another 5-7 business days, and they wouldn't even expedite the order, so I canceled and won't use them again! The sad part is that it's great food and my dog loves it, but they have poor business practices!

The reason I canceled today is because my previous order on September 22, 2019 for $449.70 got lost somewhere in their own warehouse, and unless I called to check I would never have received it. In the meantime, I had to buy some other food until her food arrived. They totally screwed up and the customer service person really apologized, but wouldn't expedite my order that time, either. In a 3-month period, I ordered $937.70 worth of dog food, and this company could care less whether customers/dogs get their food on time or at all. How can a company even operate like that? They pretend to care about dogs' health, but it's only about filling their own pockets! I would never, ever, ever spend this much on dog food, but I have been buying it solely for my dog's health issues. I just ordered another freeze-dried raw dog food that gets amazing reviews! It's also expensive, but hopefully, it will be healthy, quality food that she will love!

Consumer beware, be careful when you sign up to try this dog food. You will get on the hook for $80+ a month for 3lbs of food (your dog's food will become much more expensive than yours per pound, if you really love your pet, just buy them steak at $7 a pound or blueberries at $4 etc.) Companies that truly believe in their products do not need to force their clients to buy, their clients will do it willingly.

I gave them a 3 star because the dog liked the food. Of course he likes turkey, beef, salmon, sweet potatoes, egg, peas, etc., same food we eat, though our real food is much cheaper.

Suggestion, if you care about pets, for real, make food that real people (not just Beverly Hill people) can and should responsibly afford. Then those people will happily buy that food every month on their own, without needing to be coerced.

My Chihuahua/terrier mix loved the food. We decided that after a few weeks this would be his new dog food. We placed orders for 18 bags and 6 liver treats. Then he got sick and then sicker. He has pancreatitis. The fat content is way too high for small dogs. He has always been so healthy so it was scary when the vet had to keep him for a while.

I have a European Great Dane, and I want him to have the best. After reviewing your video, I started ordering the dry food and he absolutely loves it, his hair is so soft it’s like a rabbit, his muscles, his bones, everything...is so beautiful. He’s just so healthy, and I thank you for that!

My labradoodle, Toby, loves this food! The ingredients are so healthy and the amount to feed him will keep him healthy and also help him lose some weight. HOWEVER, the cost is extreme and leads me to evaluate if I will continue to buy this food. I wish the cost were more reasonable since Toby would love to continue eating this delicious dinner each evening.
