About Enhance Mind IQ

By HighYa Research Team
Published on: Aug 30, 2016

Using only 100% all natural ingredients, Enhance Mind IQ promises to deliver a wide variety of cognitive benefits, including intense focus, greater mental clarity, boosted memory and recall, “powerful” motivation, and even improved overall health.

We’re told that as soon as you take the recommended dose, Enhance Mind IQ’s “proven scientific profile” will go to work increasing your energy levels, regardless of your age or gender. Then, these same ingredients will continue keeping you alert and focused throughout the remainder of the day.

There’s no denying that Enhance Mind IQ’s sales pitch is attention-grabbing. But you’re here because you want to know if it’s worth the high price, or if you should continue looking. We’re here to help you find some answers.

How Does Enhance Mind IQ Claim to Help?

“How the brain works” is a massive topic, and is something we couldn’t even hope to adequately cover in this review. Instead, we’re going to address Enhance Mind IQ’s claims directly, while providing some background information to help you assess exactly what we’re dealing with.

Your brain cells (called neurons) are where all the basic activity in your brain occurs, including communication, short and long-term memory storage, and more. These neurons send and receive information through short electrical bursts, and can send signals to other parts of the body as well using chemical signals known as neurotransmitters (one of the most common is acetylcholine).

With this in mind, the manufacturer claims Enhance Mind IQ’s ingredients will boost the level of neurotransmitters in your brain—presumably leading to storing information more efficiently, clearing “your mind for optimum mental absorption,” and delivering “optimal mental performance.”

Another common (and powerful) neurotransmitter is serotonin. So, if Enhance Mind IQ also increases the production in this chemical, it might be the case that you experience “powerful focus and motivation.”

Granted, all of this is based on marketing information taken from the supplement’s website. But what does science have to say about the effectiveness of Enhance Mind IQ’s ingredients?

What Ingredients Are Found in Enhance Mind IQ?

There isn’t a label listed on the Enhance Mind IQ website, so we can’t be sure exactly what the supplement contains, or in what doses. In fact, the only ingredient referenced is a “100% Pure Phosphatidylserine Complex.” Can you expect this to deliver results?

In a nutshell, phosphatidylserine is a chemical mostly obtained from the foods we eat (although the body also produces a small amount). It’s responsible for numerous important functions, including acting as a “key in the maintenance of cellular function, especially in the brain.”

While phosphatidylserine is listed as “possibly effective” for addressing some aspects of age-related mental decline and Alzheimer’s disease, it’s important to point out that most of the available clinical evidence was obtained using supplements derived from cow brains.

However, most modern supplements derive their phosphatidylserine from soy or cabbage. While there’s growing evidence that plant-based phosphatidylserine might provide similar benefits (especially for age-related memory), it’s not as clinically validated.

As we outline in The Truth About Memory Supplements, other common ingredients in these supplements include:

What’s the bottom line?

First, there’s no indication that any of these ingredients are found in Enhance Mind IQ. Second, some have more clinically verified benefits than others. And third, the reality is that—even in a best-case scenario—the clinical evidence indicates that they’ll only provide very mild results.

Will Enhance Mind IQ’s Ingredients Cause Any Side Effects?

In doses under 300mg, phosphatidylserine likely won’t cause anything worse than mild digestive upset—if anything at all. Over this amount, the likelihood of upset stomach and insomnia can increase.

Again (not to sound like a broken record), we don’t know how much phosphatidylserine Enhance Mind IQ contains—or any of its other ingredients, so it’s unknown which side effects you might be likely to experience.

How Much Does Enhance Mind IQ Cost?

Your first Enhance Mind IQ order will only cost you $4.95 S&H, for which you’ll receive a 30-day supply. This will begin your 14-day trial.

On the 14th day, you’ll then be charged the full price of $89.92. At this same time, you’ll be enrolled in the company’s autoship program, which will send you a new bottle of Enhance Mind IQ once per month and charge your card $89.92 each time.

Enhance Mind IQ’s website indicates that they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Although according to their terms, it doesn’t appear refunds are available outside of the trial.

To cancel your trial or your autoship enrollment, Enhance Mind IQ’s customer service department can be reached at (866) 512-0453.

Given this steep price and the lack of an ingredients list, are customers finding that Enhance Mind IQ delivers results?

Where Can You Find Legit Enhance Mind IQ Reviews?

According to Enhance Mind IQ’s website, the supplement has been featured in popular media outlets such as The NY Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, and more. As a result, they claim it has become “impossible to find.”

Despite this claim, we didn’t encounter a single legitimate review for Enhance Mind IQ at the time of our research. Instead, we only found affiliate websites posing as legitimate customer reviews, which are often intended to mislead instead of inform.

Like the company, one of these affiliate sites claimed that Enhance Mind IQ has received “widespread media attention,” but as we mentioned above, there is zero third-party evidence for these claims.

Are There Other Supplements Like Enhance Mind IQ?

On a more positive note though, the HighYa team has reviewed dozens of these nootropic supplements over the years. Can we learn anything from customer reviews for these supplements?

Like most nutritional supplements, brain boosters like these typically come with low customer ratings (usually 2 stars or less), with common complaints citing failure to deliver results, high prices, and poor customer service. Regarding this last point, many customers complain that it’s next to impossible to cancel trials, stop recurring shipments, or process refunds.

Now, we’re fully willing to admit that Enhance Mind IQ might be the exception to the rule. But when you also factor in the fact that the supplement uses the exact same website template as other nootropic supplements, many of which come with similarly low customer ratings, we think this is a good reason to be extra diligent about where you spend your money.

From a company perspective, Enhance Mind IQ is manufactured by Premium Health Products Inc. Other than the company’s Florida filing information, however, there’s no additional information available about the company online.

Now, let’s take everything we’ve learned about Enhance Mind IQ and conclude our review.

Will Enhance Mind IQ Enhance Your Mind or IQ?

So, what data do we have for this supplement? The only ingredient we’re told about is phosphatidylserine, which has mixed results when it comes to fulfilling Enhance Mind IQ’s lofty claims. We also know that the supplement is only sold through a free trial (which we often recommend avoiding, since many customers complain of poor customer service) and that it comes with an exceptionally high price.

Given this, would we spend our personal money on it? In the end, we think talking with our doctor about addressing memory problems or boosting brainpower will provide more real-world benefits than placing an order for Enhance Mind IQ.

    Perfect scam

My biggest mistake was not reading other reviews before purchasing this product. There was a "special offer" that day that if you buy five bottles, so they have a discounted offer price of $107.98. So I did that. When I checked my bank account, there was another charge from Enhance Mind IQ for $189.99!

I called the number that was on the bottle and spoke with a rep. Asking why there was another charge in the amount of $189.99 only to tell me that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I was told I made an additional order, which I DEFINITELY did not make. I asked to speak with a supervisor, who told me the same thing. All sales are final and that there was nothing she could do since they are a third party customer service center. So what was she a supervisor for if only to tell me the same thing? I asked her for the number of Enhance Mind IQ because I’m sure they are in contact with someone from there and obviously lied about not knowing anyone from the company.

It was a futile exercise and just made my blood boil all the more!

If this is a legit company, then they would have a professional customer service department that we can address our complaints to and would have a 100% Satisfaction guarantee.

I also tried the product for three days, and it only gave palpitations! It looks like the main ingredient in this product is caffeine!

This is most definitely a big scam and I would be very glad to participate in a class action suit against this company. NO, do NOT make a mistake in ordering any products from Enhance Mind IQ! I just lost $300 from them and I consider that an act of STEALING!

    Stole my money

This is the worst company I have dealt with in my entire life.

So I order one last bottle on September 3rd, and today I tried to cancel everything. When he gives me the tracking number for my last package, it says that it got delivered on the 9th and sent back on the 16th. I never received the package, and I never sent it back.

So I call this customer service line, supposedly they are a third party of the company. I asked them to give me my money back since they have their product and he said no because I sent it back. So the first time I call I ask for the tracking number to see where is my package and the second time I called you telling me I sent it back?

So if you think that not using your brain with customers will help you sell this product keep dreaming. And thank you for stealing my money or my pills one or the other you guys stole from me. This company will go downhill.

This product is hyped to the max, yet does NOTHING!

I was sucked into trying Enhance Mind IQ after I read a very provocative article offering a possible replacement for Adderall, which is something I must take daily for severe ADHD that I would love to treat with anything but a narcotic pharmaceutical.

The headline read "Better than Adderall." The author excelled with key phrases that enticed me to try something new. For example, "I couldn't wait to get up in the morning." It read like dream come true for me. I ordered the trial without any clue this would enroll me in an opt out scam.

Fortunately, I made some sort of error with my shipping address that saved the hassle others have gone through.

The ONLY way I realized what I'd gotten myself into was the call I made in search of my product. I got a representative on the line and used one word, "fraud," which instantly canceled all future charges and shipments without me having to ask. I am grateful for that, especially since the product came and does absolutely NOT ONE THING!

Apparently, I paid for shipping, plus whatever that added two dollars (I thought I had declined when I clicked the box next to those words, but whatever!) for what seems to be a placebo.

It's a rip-off, people. Plain and simple. This crap isn't even worth the effort it took me to read and write about. I'm doing this for anyone who may get sucked in for the reasons I did. Don't do it!

    Peace.

    Scam

On Sunday 8/27/17 I purchased the free trial order of this product that was listed on CVS email. The listed price was $4.95; however, when I received confirmation of this order, I was informed that I had purchased $1.99 for "Insure Ship," which is some type of insurance that I did NOT request. I never saw where I had purchased that item on the order form because it was nowhere to be seen.

When I arrived at the screen to place my order, there was another product offer, which I declined. At the next screen, there was yet another offer, which I also declined. I was then shown another screen where I was able to place the one order. Although carefully reading all of what was written on the order pages, I never saw anything about how long the free trial would last before I was charged additionally and how much that charge would be.

I also never saw that I would continue to be shipped more bottles if I did not make the cancellation. I called Monday the very next day to stop the orders, but they said they had already shipped them out and I need to wait until I receive the product and then they will give me a RMA#.

So I called today, Friday, 9/1/17, and talked to a rude lady named Jasmine or Joselyn (emp #41044) and went in circles with her and so I asked to speak to a supervisor, and he sent me an email to cancel all future orders but would not refund the current charges.

This is definitely a scam company and like one of the other reviews said, I will definitely not put these pills in my body for NOTHING.

    Stay clear

I signed up for a free trial. I never ordered a monthly supply, which they started shipping to me with a charge of $89. It's a real scam. Stay clear. Free trial offer is a trap. When I called to cancel, they were rude and wouldn't refund my money back. The customer service is by a third party.

    Total ripoff

I have no need to try whatever they sent. They offer a 14-day trial and kind of force you to buy another product they offer in order to close out the transaction. Also on trial.

They don't put their address on anything. One telephone number exists to contact them. If you can find that you will be communicating with a voicemail, one that makes it hard to follow them.

First, you are informed they intend to charge you $70 or so if you don't return your free "trial." If you push enough buttons, you will eventually find they require a return to a California address for Enhance Mind IQ and a different address for their other products. They obviously do not expect most people to cancel each product separately, but require that that be done or they do a full charge and continue to charge. This clearly demonstrates you are dealing with thieves who promise the moon and give you dirt (probably radioactive dirt).

Then they require an RMA number, which is long and their computer voice runs through. I doubt most seniors will get most of the words or letters, yet they are required to return their "trial." They don't spell out words. It is obvious they intend to defraud anyone and everyone they suck into their web of deceit. I would not ever try whatever is in their pills simply based on the fact that they already demonstrate they are thieves.

Although their return addresses do not include this, they apparently operate under the name Triple M Labs. Another change to throw off people looking for the charges on your bank card. So best case outcome here is a waste the money since they charge for not one, but two "trials." Then you waste the money and time to repackage and return their crap, then hope they don't attempt to further scam you in some way.

These people prove they are thieves via their own actions. DO NOT do business with them! I suggest we all check reports on HighYa prior to ever purchasing any products like this online. Thanks for helping to protect us HighYa.

    Shady, sneaky business practices

Scam. They offer you a cheap trial price, send a receipt for the cheap trial price, then in small print (I was told, I never actually saw it, so as far as I'm concerned it doesn't explain this anywhere), they tell you they charge you for the full price after 14 days. No receipt, no reminder, nowhere do they make it clear what their intentions are. The pills don't even work, which is why they have to be sneaky about charging you for them. Save yourself a headache, learn from my mistake and don't fall for it!

The stuff is mostly pure caffeine

Just drink coffee. The other ingredients will raise your blood pressure even more than the caffeine. Only one star because they required a rating, but is not even worth that!

BE CAREFUL, and don't buy it!

Free trial order of Enhance Mind IQ

On 07/17/17 I purchased the free trial order of this product that was listed on Amazon as a bonus. The listed price was $4.95; however, when I received confirmation of this order, I was informed that I had purchased $2.00 for "Insure Ship" to provide assurance that I would receive my order. I never saw where I had purchased that item on the order form. I also carefully read the conditions of this "free trial," since after years of experience I am still susceptible to scam offers of this nature.

I also never saw that I would continue to be shipped items at $90 per bottle if I did not make the cancellation.

Fortunately, I ordered yesterday and read the reviews on this website today so that I may be able to call the numbers provided in the reviews and make a cancellation before my credit card is charged an additional $90. I wish to thank all of the persons that provided careful reviews. These reviews have saved me from additional headaches.

    Don’t do it!

I haven’t noticed any mind enhancement with this product. But the real problem I had was ordering. I ordered one bottle but when checking out my cart had a five bottle package costing $189. There was no way to reverse the order or edit it.

I have sent several emails and made several phone calls, with no answer. I don’t know the address to return the unused product, and even if I did, I fear I will not get a refund, especially since I can’t even speak with a representative. Also, it is a MUST to speak with a representative in order to obtain an RMA number since you cannot return the product without that RMA number!

Do yourself a favor and do not order this product!

After getting no response by email or phone number listed on their order confirmation, I noticed their name was different on my bank statement: Enhanced Focus Lakewood, FL 855-979-9260. I finally persuaded the sales rep (who was very cordial) to cancel my order and just received an email stating I will be refunded.
