About Fast Trim Roller
Fast Trim Roller is a set of tools they promise will cut your painting time in half and you will never need to tape up trim. They say this is because of the patented roller guide which keeps your edge straight and its rotating handle that paints at different angles.
Fast Trim Roller is sold by Top Dog Direct, a marketing company based in Philadelphia. While there is no BBB information about Top Dog, the Top Dog website says the company is a joint venture of Plymouth Direct and NPI. Plymouth Direct has an F rating with the BBB for over 80 complaints in the last 3 years; there is no BBB info or rating for NPI.
How Fast Trim Roller Works
Fast Trim Roller is a set of rollers, an adjustable handle, and airtight tray with lid. You use Fast Trim Roller just like your old paint equipment, minus the blue tape. They boast the rubber roller guide will run along the edge or trim, keeping it free from paint and giving you a straight edge (provided, of course, that you don’t get any paint on the guide). They add the roller handle can adjust to 12 different angles and the lid/tray combination will prevent paints from drying.
Fast Trim Pricing, Returns, and Fine Print
They say Fast Trim Roller sells for $10 plus $7.95 S&H, but that’s only part of the story. They automatically include a “bonus” set of rollers and charge you another $7.95 shipping. This makes the true total $25.90. You do have 30 days to try Fast Trim Roller, but even if you return it, you will just get your initial $10 back and not any of the fees, (plus you have to pay to ship it back). It should also be pointed out that if/when you do order Fast Trim Roller, you are also signing a binding arbitration agreement which prevents you from suing them or joining any class action lawsuit.
Each Fast Trim Roller Order Includes:
- 3” and 5” roller
- Fast Trim Handle
- Airtight tray and lid
- Additional “bonus” set of rollers (extra S&H)
Bottom Line: Is Fast Trim Roller a Scam?
Keep in mind, we have not personally used the Fast Trim Roller. However, we are simply stating our opinion in our observation combined with the generic "As Seen on TV" policies and pricing infrastructures. Should you want to try the product, we recommend giving it a shot by purchasing it at your local Wal-Mart or Wal-Greens. All the best!
Appears to be a scam
It has been more than eight weeks since I ordered from www.fastrimroller.com. No sign of the products and "customer service" provides zero help. I think I have been scammed and my $117.25 is gone.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Very effective for exteriors
I find this product to be very very sufficient. It stops me from going so high on the ladder. Since I am afraid of heights, it's perfect painting product on all angles of the house. It stops the paint from getting on any of the siding is easy to clean up and I enjoy that tool. I'd like to know if I can buy more sleeves.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
