About FIN Electronic Cigarette
With vaporizing’s recent surge in popularity, you may be thinking about trying FIN Electronic Cigarettes, which are claimed to look and feel just like the real thing, but without any flame, ash, odor, or secondhand smoke. Ultimately, the company claims that this will allow you to smoke freely in more places, while delivering much of the same satisfaction of traditional cigarettes, but without many of the consequences.
But if you’re a tobacco smoker, are FIN Electronic Cigarettes really a viable alternative? We looked into the facts, and here’s what we found.
FIN Electronic Cigarettes Details
When it comes down to it, FIN Electronic Cigarettes are comprised of three primary parts:
- A rechargeable battery that mirrors the appearance of the tobacco portion of a traditional cigarette.
- The cartridge, which looks similar to a cigarette filter. This cartridge contains the nicotine gel that, when attached the battery and heated through inhalation, turns into a vapor. While the vapor looks and feels like actual cigarette smoke, it’s claimed to dissipate in seconds and to leave no lingering odor.
- The LED at the top of each FIN Electronic Cigarette mimics the glow produced by the ember of real cigarettes. This lets you know when it’s active and when it’s not.
According to the FIN website, each of their cartridges contains 400mg of e-liquid, totaling 6.4mg of nicotine. Overall, each cartridge is claimed to last about 300 puffs, which is roughly equivalent to 2 packs of cigarettes. The company claims that their rechargeable battery will last about this same amount of time, and requires about 2 hours in order to fully recharge.
While no ingredients are listed on the FIN Electronic Cigarettes website, it appears that their cartomizers only contain 5 ingredients:
- Propylene glycol
- Vegetable glycerin
- Methyl cyclopentenelone and acetyl pyrazine (2 flavors widely used in the food industry)
With this in mind, FIN offers mild, cool, and bold cartomizer flavors, along with traditional tobacco and menthol variations.
FIN Electronic Cigarettes Pricing & Refund Policy
When compared to the costs associated with traditional cigarettes, FIN Electronic Cigarettes are claimed to help you save about $110 per month, and more than $1,300 annually. With this in mind, FIN Electronic Cigarettes are priced as follows:
- Non-Rechargeable Units: $8.99 for a 2-pack
- Rechargeable Kits:
- Starter Kit (Includes 1 rechargeable battery, 1 cartomizer refill, & 1 USB charger): $15.99
- Deluxe Kit (Includes 2 rechargeable batteries, 3 cartomizer refills, & AC/USB chargers): $29.99
- Platinum Kit (Includes 2 rechargeable batteries, 3 cartomizer refills, AC/USB chargers, & a mobile charging pack): $39.99
Keep in mind that FIN is currently running a “free TV offer” that reduces the prices for their electronic cigarettes down to:
- Starter Kit: Free, just pay $7.95 S&H.
- Deluxe Kit: $10, plus $7.95 S&H.
- Platinum Kit: $20, plus $7.95 S&H.
Despite these reduced prices, it doesn’t appear that you’ll be enrolled in any kind of autoship program after purchasing your FIN Electronic Cigarette kit.
Whichever option you choose, all FIN Electronic Cigarettes comes with a 30-day money back guarantee, less shipping and handling charges. In order to initiate the refund process you’ll first need to complete an RMA form on the FIN Electronic Cigarettes website, and then to contact customer service at 855-693-4648.
If you’d prefer to purchase FIN Electronic Cigarettes from someone other than the manufacturer, they’re also available through numerous third-party retailers such as Walgreens, Walmart, a variety of convenience stores, and many others.
What Do Other Consumers Have to Say About FIN Electronic Cigarettes?
It appears that most online customer reviews regarding FIN Electronic Cigarettes are positive, with common compliments referencing the relatively cheap price, cost savings over traditional cigarettes, and ease of use.
On the other hand, some of the most common complaints cited that FIN Electronic Cigarettes feel cheaply made (manufactured in China), and that the weak batteries often need more than 1 recharge per day (depending on use) and don’t provide the vapor volume or “throat hit” that other e-cigarettes and vaporizers might.
What’s the Bottom Line About FIN Electronic Cigarettes?
If you’ve been thinking about moving over to electronic cigarettes, does FIN represent a viable option? Probably so, but consider the following:
Not Intended to Help You Quit
First and foremost, FIN Electronic Cigarettes (or any e-cigarette for that matter) should not be considered smoking cessation devices. In other words, if you’re looking to quit, there are many other proven methods of accomplishing this, such as nicotine gum, patches, and even prescription medications. However, without inhaling actual smoke and ingesting all the chemicals and carcinogens found in traditional cigarettes, FIN Electronic Cigarettes may help you feel better.
Second, despite the freedom that FIN Electronic Cigarettes are claimed to provide you with, keep in mind that you still can’t use them anywhere where traditional cigarettes are banned, including many public places, as well as aircraft.
Performance & Flavor Options
Next, one of the biggest things that smokers tend to miss about cigarettes is the large volume of smoke and the “throat hit” that they provide. But the number one complaint we found during our research about FIN Electronic Cigarettes is that they don’t provide this same vapor volume and hit, which might lead many users to be disappointed with its performance. Apparently, this is because FIN Electronic Cigarettes include a 200mAh battery, which is weak in comparison to higher priced (but better performing) vaporizers with 450mAh batteries.
Also, numerous consumers appear to be disappointed by the fact that FIN Electronic Cigarette cartomizers are only available in tobacco and menthol flavors, while much of the competition offers a wide range of flavors.
FIN Electronic Cigarettes can help you make a smooth transition from traditional cigarettes to vaping, without having to commit to a pricey investment. However, with limited flavor and vapor options, along with a battery that’s about half as powerful as much of the competition, you’ll probably quickly move on to higher performance (and higher priced) models from the competition relatively soon.

Trash product, with no customer service
I purchased a Fin Cig over Labor Day weekend because my regular e-cig store was closed. The product touts puffs equal to a pack of cigarettes. The truth is, it only lasted 2 hours. Just two hours, nothing more. Went back to the store to see if I got a bad battery and they exchanged it, no questions asked. Almost too quickly. Guess what happened? The new one lasted for 12 puffs or a little over an hour. I called the two numbers off of Fin's website. The first number appeared to be invalid while the second had a message that they'd be closed for the weekend. It's Tuesday now and the number still has the message. I've had better luck with overseas customer service. For this company to be in the USA and be this non legit is a joke! Steer clear of this product. It's not worth the one star I gave it. You're junk Fin
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Terrible product, a rip off
Absolute crap. I’d leave a zero star review if I could. I spent $17 on this only to have it not work or charge fresh out of the box. The convenience store refused to refund me or take it back. Forget this product.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
FIN Electronic Cigarette
I think that this is a pretty decent little vapor cigarette. It smoked really well. The only problem I have is that it could use a flavor improvement. It lacks a true tobacco-like flavor but then again, most of the competition has the same issue.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
