First, too many fees. Second, every time I call you get a different agent. They should have one person that knows your case. Last, I should have done my homework and went with a different company. In conclusion, I am not happy with this company.

I just wanted a quick credit fix so I can consolidate my credit card debt into one loan. My credit score of 627, which is fair, wasn't good enough. That's totally fine, but I had a better plan to pay off my debt than the lady who called me had. She wanted me to stop paying my cards so they can negotiate with the creditors. I think this is a great debt relief program for others, but just not for me. I haven't paid off my credit cards not because I can't afford to, but simply because I just didn't, but I will pay them off within the next two years. I am trying to get a home loan and only wanted to increase my credit score by lowering my credit utilization percentage.

This service is for those people who are down and cannot get back up, which is not me. The only reason I gave them two stars is for how the lady was speaking to me. She was so condescending, like she was trying to bully me into paying them to fix my credit. If I was desperate, I probably would have fallen for her bullying, but good thing I am not.

If you are on the verge of bankruptcy, go for it, but if you have just been "BSing" like me and can actually afford to pay your credit off, do it yourself. I am not going into default for no reason.

I started with the Freedom Debt Relief program in April of 2017.

In this 6 months, every time I had a question I just called and received the help I needed. I love that I have the ability to call or go online.

Also, they send monthly statements, which told not the financial amount accumulated but the different stages to expect and what stage I was in.

I am very satisfied with the first two (2) negotiated settlement.

I'm so excited to find legitimate help to help me relieve my outstanding debt. I was a little leery of the process initially. I started this process at the end of August 2017. I'm so thrilled that one of my debts will be paid off at the end of 2017. I hope to continue to pay each of the other debts off in a timely manner. Everything seemed so great at first, one payment a month and then you're done, right? Wrong. I'm in my 6th year with them, mostly paid off, but they won't close them, so it shows on my credit report. They do this because you pay a monthly fee with them (~$9). I've had a large account paid off for literally 18 months, and I can't get anywhere with it. Don't be fooled by the enticements of less stress. I've never been more stressed out after working with them.

I am very pleased with Freedom, especially Pam. I'm happy to know that my debt will be cut to about 1/4 of what it was and be paid in 4 years. I think it's a great program. I just wish that the creditors can be notified in the beginning to let them know we are working with you and they will be contacted soon about negotiations. They tell me they will basically continue to harass me (not in those words) until they hear from you. Which if I understand correctly won't be for about 3 months or so. Doesn't help with the stress of it all. Just my thoughts, I'm sure you have your reasons. Thanks for all your help.

I haven't had that much interaction from Freedom Debt Relief since I initiated the process. I was told to expect calls from my creditors, which has occurred. I told Bank of American to stop harassing me as I am with Freedom Debt Relief which I tried to tell one of the people who called me, and give them the number I was advised to give them, but they refused to take the phone number. However, since then I haven't had any more phone calls, which were occurring 5-6 times a day.

I am financially struggling to make ends meet, so I did a search for a company who would help me. I came upon Freedom Debt Relief and I spoke with someone named Mike and he was patient with me and did most of the work in starting me up with this program. I am excited but am still waiting to see if this will really work and if my creditors will be taken care of. It's almost too good to be true. So far, I have no complaints, and I am looking forward to working with Freedom Debt Relief and seeing my debts come down.

I don't know enough to make any comment, but I like what I see so far. I think it will take six months before any real progress is made. I will have more to say once I see the program at work. I like dealing with Adam, he was very helpful. I still need to add some account numbers, which I will do tomorrow. It's not easy to come up with all the information you ask for, but as soon as I do, I will let you know.

I am making my payments and waiting patiently for negotiations on my debt to begin. Freedom Debt Relief has been very positive and encouraging and now I just have to wait for results. If they can do what they said they can do, this will be a tremendous help and will get me back on track. We feel somewhat better now that most of our credit card debt will be reduced and paid off in a few years, but we are still getting calls and some have told us that they will not settle with a debt resolution company. So we still worry, but hope that it will all work out for the best.

The plan, so far, seems to be a good method for reducing consumer debt. The shaky part is how to handle those "HOSTILE" creditors after enrollment. Better clarification is required to show that funds used to pay creditors is provided by client and funds are not actually "LOANED" to the client, and settlements must wait on accumulated payments by client - months. The creditor response to this debt plan can cause problems. I think a better plan would be to use a "cash flow matching technique."

While I initially contacted the company about securing a loan at a lower interest rate than what I was currently paying, they offered me an alternative where I ultimately wouldn't owe as much overall.

I was very happy with the ease and the great customer service. It only took a few minutes to find out if I qualified. I wish this service was available when I had to take bankruptcy in the past. It took such a load off our minds about trying to pay our credit cards.

Well, I would love to say something about FDR, but the truth of the matter is that nothing has happened yet as we have just signed up and the first payment has been pulled to the account. So far everyone has been more than helpful to get me going, but that would be all I can say as we have not ascertained any possible payoffs or anything as of yet. It would be more prudent to write a review after about 6-8 months into the program since there would be more to possibly write about. Bottom line is, it is too soon to say anything about anything about this program because it is just getting started. I have not seen it work yet, therefore, it is unfair to ask me if I would or would not refer a friend until I have experienced the program for myself.

I enrolled in the program and after five months their sister company offered me a loan and settled all of my debts at 22.9 APR. They did settle two credit cards before this took place, and litigation group stopped one of the creditors from suing me. It’s a slow process but if you follow through, the sister company will offer you a loan. The loan payments out of a $300 payment they are taking 180 in interest, so it’s like they're taking most of their interest in the beginning. There is no prepayment penalty on the loan so I’m going try later to get a lower interest rate elsewhere. But my credit score has rebounded nicely and I think it was worth it, basically, in the end with the interest rate if you're offered a loan it’s laying paying debt off with no interest in the end.

One bad thing, when they settle a debt the company will send you a 1099 at the end of the year to pay tax on as income the amount you saved.

I started with Freedom Debt Relief at the beginning of this year. A couple of months went by in the program, and then they started negotiating my debt. They have already accomplished successful settlements eliminating 75% of the balance of each card.

Pretty amazing. I would highly recommend them!
