About Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX
Is Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX really a powerful dietary supplement that can prevent your body from producing and storing fat, while reducing cravings and increasing serotonin production? Is it actually an effective and sustainable weight loss tool? And when it comes down to it, can HCAMAX not only help you lose weight, but also to improve your overall health?
You may have recently seen a Facebook ad for Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX, and are eager to learn the answers to these questions and others. We’ll get to that in just a moment. But first, let’s find out more about what Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX claims to do.
How Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX Claims to Work
A brief introduction: At the root (no pun intended) of Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX is the rind of the garcinia cambogia fruit, or more specifically, the hydroxycitric acid (HCA) it contains. According to the supplement’s website, this HCA inhibits your body from producing an enzyme called citrate lyase, which thereby prevents your body from converting excess carbohydrates (glucose) into fat. As a result, this energy is more available for your body to use.
With this said, Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX claims to use 60% HCA to help inhibit fat production, naturally suppress your appetite, regulate serotonin levels, decrease “emotional eating,” and boost metabolism. The HCAMAX website goes so far as to claim that the supplement can even help target specific problem areas such as the waist, butt, and thighs.
Each 1,000mg serving of Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX is claimed to include 100% pure natural ingredients that are produced in a FDA registered, GNP certified lab. In addition, HCAMAX is claimed to be manufactured without binders or fillers, and to be safe and free of any side effects.
Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX Pricing & Refund Policy
Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX is only available via a 14-day trial, for which you’ll pay $4.95 to cover S&H, and will begin on the date your order is placed. Once the initial 14 days have passed, you’ll be billed for the full price of the product at $89.99, and will also be enrolled in the HCAMAX autoship program. This means that you’ll continue receiving a one-month supplement of the supplement once every 30 days, and you credit card will be billed $89.99 each time.
Outside of the trial, Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX comes with a 30-day refund policy, less S&H fees (see more about this in the following section). However, this only applies to one unopened product per customer.
In order to process a refund or to cancel your autoship enrollment, you’ll need to contact customer service at 888-998-6283.
Is Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX an Effective Method of Losing Weight?
If you’ve spent any time researching weight loss products, you already know that marketing hype abounds within the nutritional supplements industry. But is Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX different? Is it really an effective and efficient weight loss tool and “a simple solution to your ideal body?” Consider the following:
The Dr. Oz Effect, In Effect
Garcinia cambogia first came into the public’s awareness after appearing on the Dr. Oz daytime TV show in November 2012, where he called it a “miracle” weight loss product. Since that time, thousands of garcinia cambogia manufacturers have sprung into existence to take advantage of its popularity, which is something that’s become known as the “Dr. Oz Effect.” In the case of Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX, we have good reason to believe that the manufacturer is out to make as much money as possible, and to take advantage of the Dr. Oz Effect, for reasons we’ll discuss below.
With this said, here’s the bottom line: There is no widely accepted clinical evidence showing that Garcinia Cambogia, whether from HCAMAX or another manufacturer, can reliably help you lose weight. And even if it does give you a slight edge, you can realistically expect only a couple of additional pounds over time. For a more in depth look at this, be sure to read The Updated Truth About Garcinia Cambogia.
Hard Work Pays Off
When it comes down to it, the only reliable method of achieving your weight loss goals and sustaining them is by exercising regularly and eating healthy. In fact, even the Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX website includes the following disclaimer: “The product is intended to be used in conjunction with a sensible diet and exercise program to see best results.”
Reach Deep Into Your Pockets
Clinical research and effectiveness notwithstanding, Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX comes at an extremely high price; one that is likely far out of line with the benefits you can expect by using the supplement. In other words, at nearly $90, this supplement is ridiculously expensive, and your money would be better spent on almost anything else you could buy.
Also, one of the most common complaints (see more below) related to Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX is their “free” trial and automatic enrollment in an autoship program. In fact, numerous consumers have complained that they were charged several hundred dollars by the company before realizing what was going on.
Keeping It In the Family
Despite Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX’s high price, the reality is that most garcinia cambogia supplements are likely manufactured in the same laboratory, and then just rebranded for each of the different companies. In other words, HCAMAX is very likely just a generic supplement that is bringing the manufacturer huge profits.
As an example of this, take a look at this Alibaba page. Notice that you can purchase bulk garcinia cambogia for as little as $10 per kilogram, put it in a capsule, and resell it a massive markups.
Dishonesty In Advertising
Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX’s manufacturer also posts fake websites, which are intended to mislead you into thinking that it’s coming from a reputable news organization, when the reality is that almost every word of the site is completely made up out of whole cloth. In fact, the fake news website used by HCAMAX claims that Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, and Jennifer Lopez have used their products for great success, which is an outright lie.

Consumers Are a Company’s Best Asset
Overall, it appears that as a company and as a product, Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX has a fairly low online customer reputation. In fact, the majority of garcinia cambogia supplements on HighYa have low customer ratings, primarily because, as we mentioned above, there is no scientific proof for their efficacy and they simply don’t work.
The company holds an F rating with the Better Business Bureau based on 26 closed complaints, nearly all of which reference difficulty cancelling 14-day trials and autoship enrollment (can’t reach a live person, shipments continue even after cancellation processed, etc.). One customer even complained that the company charged them a $19.95 restocking fee. However, per HCAMAX’s Terms & Conditions: “There may be additional restocking fees assessed.”
Also, keep in mind that you’ll lose the ability to enter into a class action lawsuit with the company in the even you feel it’s necessary. Again, referencing the product’s Terms & Conditions: “By placing an order on our website, you irrevocably waive any right you may have to join claims with those of others in the form of a class action or similar procedural device. Any claims relating to your usage of our website or product must be asserted individually.”
Considering Garcinia Cambogia HCAMAX’s high price, poor online customer reputation, use of fake news websites and celebrity endorsements, lack of an ingredients list or product label, not to mention that garcinia cambogia hasn’t been shown to help you lose weight, we would strongly recommend that you stay away from this manufacturer altogether.
The real phone number to cancel
The phone number to cancel the 89.99 dollar monthly fee is 1-866-281-1270 and they will try to get you to stay at a cheaper rate but if they lie about it being free to start with why believe anything they say. Argue with them and tell them they are a scam and you will not pay one cent for any of it.

A Scam - unauthorized credit card charges
I replied to an ad on Facebook offering a free sample for less than $5 shipping. Being skeptical, I carefully read the terms and realized the fine print tried to get people to agree to subscribing to more supplements that would need to be canceled to avoid charges, and ensured I opted out of this. Within a few days of receiving the free sample of HCA Max, my credit card was charged $104.71. I wrote to HCA Max, and was sent a standard e-mail about them agreeing to cancel my subscription.
I replied that I required a refund, but within a few days of my e-mail, I received another package from them in the mail, and was charged $104.70 on my credit card. They have not replied to any further e-mails I have sent them. I have not opened or tried the product, because I don't trust something from a company that is taking my money without my consent.
