    I was having a challenge with processing a refund for someone, and I emailed in. Within 30 minutes it was taken care of. The team was great and very responsive. Extremely helpful and made sure I had all my questions answered.

  • Excellent customer service!

    After a charity set up for a friend's brother was closed, all those that donated received news that our donations could not be accessed by the recipient because of certain circumstances. I contacted the GoFundMe customer service team via email and explained the situation, and they promptly replied and arranged for my donation to be refunded. A very friendly and helpful customer care representative was quick to answer all of my questions and always made me feel like more than just a number.

    The entire process fortified my trust in the GoFundMe website - that it is being run by people who really care about others. A big thank you to the customer happiness team!

  • GoFundMe - simply amazing!

    I was recently surprised by the salon I work at (Scruples Salon and Spa) that their son John Solomos, who manages, and a co-worker Anna/sister from another mother, organized a GoFundMe page for me. I lost the love of my life, way too soon at age 57, due to a medical situation that has been very difficult for the last eight years. I'm so blessed to have the love and kindness of so many people who care about me.

    My review of the helpful people at GoFundMe is 5 big stars. Accidentally I typed in the wrong apartment number, and as soon as I caught it (with a check hours from hitting the mail), I started my quest to solve my problem. The site was easy to decifer, and I was directed to how to change my apartment number myself for security reasons. That was the first email, which I got an answer in seconds. Then I needed to know if the check was sent, and in seconds of the 2nd email, I was told they were checking. Next they said it had been tagged and there was an issue to my account. Next I was told it was sent to the wrong apartment number, and would I like them to stop it and reissue it or see if it comes?

    Never have I ever been so stressed in my own life with what I went through in the last few weeks with my husband's death, and you know when you email someone and your like, "oh no?" "Well, I will check my mail in a few days..." Not with GoFundME! They have a great organization, and I would highly recommend it to others! Thanks for what you all do! Team players! Love it.

    I recently set up a campaign on GoFundMe. It wasn't an easy decision for me, and in fact, the need to do so has left me feeling very humbled. I had some trouble changing a security measure on my account, so I looked around the help area of the site for suggestions, which ultimately had me filling out a request for support. I was surprised by how swiftly support responded. I was also very pleasantly surprised by how pleasant and willing to make this process a good one the staff was. It definitely made this emotionally charged process less stressful, and for that I will always recommend GoFundMe to others. Customer service is exemplary.

  • Incomplete funding and percentage kept by GoFundMe

    I asked whether the recipient would receive the funds raised even if it fell short of the goal. The answer was yes!

    My second question was regarding the percentage kept by GoFundMe, to fund their own operation. I was told that they would deduct 2.9% from the donation, plus $0.30 per transaction for credit card fees. The recipient would not have to pay anything.

    Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Charity contributions

    It was great using GoFundMe to raise the needed funds for a non-profit to accomplish their specific goal. We don't know what went wrong, but there was some difficulty accounting for the transfer from GoFundMe to PayPal to the Non-Profit. I filed a request for GoFundMe to look into it and I was almost instantly assigned one of their account reps to get to the bottom of it. She was available to respond to my inquiries at all hours and to my amazement resolved the issue right away. I would highly recommend them and will do this again if the occasion arises. Thank you GoFundMe.

    I am a new user of GoFundMe, so I had questions about setting up withdrawals and how often to deposit funds. I made two separate inquiries and both times I received a quick and thorough response from an associate.

    My only wish was that there was a phone number to call, in order to speed the process up and get instantaneous feedback.

    I had a problem creating my GoFundMe page. I could not make the page like I wanted it to. I send an email to the GoFundMe help page, and within a few minutes, I had an email response telling me they were looking into it. I would say that within the next two hours I had a response from the GoFundMe help team telling me that they have corrected my problem. I then looked at the page, and it was corrected, and so I sent the GoFundMe page a thank you email, and even to that within a few minutes, there was a response back.

    I just want to say the GoFundMe help team was awesome with my problem and with the response time. Way to go team. Thanks again.

    My granddaughter Kirsten Guinn has a GoFundMe account as she is currently in peds ICU with breathing difficulties and other issues. I made a contribution and 10% was added. After calling, Robyn explained that before the donation amount is made, there is an optional tip area. I didnt realize that and my tip was promptly refunded. GoFundMe is a tremendous outreach to family and friends, and I am so thankful that an account was set up.

    I made a donation to a campaign for a pit bull attack victim. Shortly after I made my donation, I was made aware that the campaign might be a scam. I contacted GoFundMe by just clicking on the email that I received from GoFundMe thanking me for my donation. I told them that I was suspicious and wanted a refund and asked them to look into the validity of the campaign. I received a reply within a few minutes telling me that they would immediately refund my donation and that they would look into the matter to verify the campaign. This was incredible service and makes me much more secure in knowing that I can receive a refund if I later find out a campaign that I donated to is fraudulent.
