I thought I was ordering a quality pan, but boy was I mistaken, or maybe "taken" is a better word. I tried cooking eggs several different ways, and they stuck to this pan, worse than any other pan I've used. I didn't even bother trying to return it, and just tossed it in the trash.

I purchased a 9.5 inch Gotham Steel frying pan and used it as recommended, on low heat, never above 5 on my electric stove. I had just cooked some bacon, then cleaned the pan, and was going to fry a couple of eggs. When I broke the eggs in the pan, they stuck to the bottom, and I had to make scrambled eggs in stead. Now when I cook bacon, it sticks to the bottom of the pan as well. So it seems that if you cook any greasy food, and then try to use the pan as advertised, it does not work.

Bought 3 pieces. After waiting 8 weeks for delivery, was excited to try. First thing I cooked was an egg. Stuck to the pain. It says you don't need butter or oil, but you do. Difficult to clean. Will be sending them back.

While purchasing this pan, I should have seen the warning. First, they ask you to add another layer of coating. Why should I when the coating is supposed to be non stick? Stupidly I went ahead and bought the pan. Then they phoned and tried to pressure us into other purchases. This is not what I expected. The first time I used the pan it worked but then guess what, everything sticks including eggs and meat. I guess it's time for me to see if their guarantee works.

I started an order for this frying pan, but quit when they kept offering more and more. Why, I thought, did I need to order additional coating? But I just logged out and forgot about it. Imagine my surprise when I got the message that the pan had shipped. I was on vacation and have come home to find it. Of course, there's nothing in the box to help with a return. It just gets more and more suspicious. It's going back, of course, but it's going cost me almost as much as the pan by the time I've paid for shipping and handling in both directions. What a rip-off!

I just got the pan yesterday and wanted to make eggs this morning. Used it, and the eggs stuck badly. Very disappointed! How can these people get away with false advertising. Buyer beware, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Just purchased this pan on Amazon after watching several commercials. Couldn't wait to use it. First time I used it, I had a perfect omelet with no sticking. That was the ONLY time it did not stick. I used no oils and did not use any detergents to clean. So I could not have changed the surface in any way. But since the very first time, ALL the foods I have attempted to cook in pan have stuck. What a rip off.

I ordered it 3 weeks ago. Last week only find out that it is backordered, but the card was already charged. Could not contact customer service. Finally was able to talk to them today just to find out that no one knows when it will be available. They don't bother to notify you, just want to sell you more of something. I just canceled the order. There are other pans that I can use.

The Pan works great for first three or four times. After that, everything STICKS. Eggs have to be scraped off, yolks break when you try to turn them due to sticking. Sausage leaves a stain that has to be scraped off. I don't know how Gotham Steel can get away with this advertising. It is completely false. There are many lies. The pan can be returned for replacement or repair, just pay a nominal fee of $9.95 for processing and handling. Forget it, it's going directly into the garbage.

I purchased the Gotham Steel frying pan through Publisher Clearing house. I tried to fry a couple of eggs and they don't slide off the pan as advertised. In fact, I have to use a spatula to scrape the egg off the pan, they don't just slide off as shown in the advertisement. If I had known this from the start, I wouldn't have thrown away the box it came in and sent it back. Unfortunately, I discarded the box and the receipt, otherwise they would have received the pan back.
