Don't Order. It Doesn't Work.

By Ted, Atlanta, GA, Verified Reviewer

I was very excited about this pan. It worked as promised the first couple of times I used it. The food starting sticking. I called because of the "90 day guarantee," but they would not honor it because I bought the product through Amazon.com. Amazon only allows you to make returns up to 30 days. So I am screwed unless I want to go to great lengths to get justice. It's not worth it to me. So I'm hoping this review will spare others some pain.

Disappointment

By Matt, Flagstaff, Arizona, Verified Reviewer

I'm currently on disability for pancreatitis from hypertriglyceridemia and high triglycerides which requires me to eat a lean diet. I purchased the pan locally hoping it would aid me in my diet and I would be eating less oil of any kind. I was hoping to enjoy eggs in an omelette as well as cook more foods without oil. From the start, everything sticks and nothing slides free. I wasted money of the little I receive each month. I say don't waste money on a product that doesn't work as shown on TV otherwise.

I would love if they had a pan that performs like that. As of now, my oan is junk and it upsets me greatly that I wasted my money on it. I caution anyone else to not waste any money and time on this product.

Another Overhyped Rip-off

By Rick, Rochester, NY, Verified Reviewer

First of all, they advertise the pan to be 9 1/2" in diameter. It isn't. It's 9 3/8" and they know it, so why the lie?

Secondly and mainly: During about a month of light usage, the pan worked as advertised but then food began to stick to the bottom after each use. Now it's just another fry pan that has food stuck to the bottom of. Every one of these lying pricks should be nailed in a class action lawsuit.

Let's see if you post this one. I'm betting that you won't.

Not as advertised

By Herta Plumb, Brazoria, TX, Verified Reviewer

The 9.5" Gotham Steel pan arrived and so far I tried frying eggs - they stuck, browning sausage - it stuck. Not at all as advertised. Don't waste your money, it's no better than any other frying pan.

Garbage

By Nancy, Verified Reviewer

I bought two of the frying pans, it came with no instructions to figure out how to use them. l've had them for 4 months know and still can't cook any type of egg in them because they stick and won't cook well. In other words, l HATE these frying pans, not worth the money you pay for them.

Gotham Steel Pan

By Judyanne, North Bay, Ontario, Verified Reviewer

My dad bought this pan because he's had a stroke and only has use of one hand. He figured it was the perfect pan to meet his needs. Well it did for about the first 8-10 times he used it. After that all it does is stick. So expensive for such a poorly made frying pan. False advertising and deceiving to those consumers that are vulnerable.

Very disappointed

By Don Klimczak, Angoon, Alaska, Verified Reviewer

Purchased three different sizes with glass lids. The lids are fine, but the food, eggs, pancakes, meat (any kind) does not slide out and does stick. Have to use Dawn dish detergent to get food residue that's stuck on. Bottom of the pans (outside) do stain from stove burners and even with dish detergent and a scrubbie the stain remains and it is yellow in color and cannot be removed. Very disappointed in your product to say the least. Just venting as I know nothing will be done about reviews or complaints.

Great Scam

By Steven Ferenc, CT, Verified Reviewer

Ordered and received about 6 months ago. Worked as advertised for a few days. Then everything began to stick especially fried eggs, even with butter or oil. Complete disappointment. I called customer service and was told according to the terms of the warranty I had to ship the pan back at my expense (approximately $12) along with a $9.95 handling charge. The price of the pan was $19.95 which is less than it would cost to get a replacement under the warranty. From the reviews I've since read the reliability seems to be just as bad as mine. This pan and it's lifetime warranty is one big great SCAM. By the way, I only rated it 1 star because it would not let me rate it a Zero.

It's a Scam.

By Bonnie, Enid, OK, Verified Reviewer

Worst pan I have ever used. Scramble eggs are the worst. I wish I could give it zero stars. The man should quit lying. If you are going to sell something, don't be like the politicians and tell the truth.

Size of Pan Shown on Advertisement

By Robert Babineaux, Corinth, Texas, Verified Reviewer

Your pan appears to be much bigger when you advertise on TV and you never mention the size. I would have never ordered it, no matter how good it is, if I would have known how small it was. Ordered online, lesson learned, should have talked to a representative about the size.

Pan Is NO GOOD! Deceptive Advertising.

By Kenneth Manfredi, Texas, Verified Reviewer

Bought one last Christmas and was very disappointed. Returned it and got another, it scorches & is hard to clean, everything sticks even after you season the pan. They should stop those commercials immediately deceptive advertising, a waste of 20 bucks, get an old fashion Teflon pan, it works better.
