Although there aren’t as many "full figure" sizes available in the items I am most interested in - the items I have purchased are in good condition and as shown in the photos. Items on "favorite" list aren’t sent in the order chosen most often I haven’t received these "favorite" items at all. The "suggested items" page never have any items I would ever wear - so I have little use for that page. I do purchase many items from the outlet - some are still listed on the main page for higher prices - so always check outlet before you purchase anything. Would like more top choices without off the shoulder or cold - shoulders - because many of those I would have purchased but not showing shoulders!

The idea of renting clothes, always having something new and different, never having laundry - is awesome...however...there are many annoying things that need fixing. Like, I should be able to mark an item returned without having to jump through the hoops of rating it. I should be able to mark an item as seasonal so I am not sent a sweater dress in July. I should be able to pick what I want in my size (not sold out, not only available in smaller sizes). I should not get items that smell so heavily of chemicals (like, do I really want that fabric touching my skin?). I should not get harassing phone call or emails saying I am over my plan amount...

I got in on the ground floor, so what I pay is very reasonable - would I sign up at today's prices? Nope.

I have had this for about four years and at the beginning it was great. I seemed to have so many options. The last year or so all of the styles seem to be the same. Not much of a variety.

I’ve had Gwynnie Bee off and on (mostly on) for about 3 years and feel like the service is starting to decline. It is taking much longer for the next shipment to be sent. To the point that I don’t know how much longer I will keep the service. I used to be able to get two shipments a week and now I am lucky if I get one. This is not for a lack of items in my closet because I have over 600 (granted some of them may no longer be available, I wish they would just go away if that was the case or let you know to see if you want to try a different size). For example, this week I "returned" my items on Monday and it is now Friday and they still haven’t sent the next shipment. I see great value in the service as I am losing weight and it minimizes the amount of new clothes I have to buy, but if I am only getting one shipment a week, if that, I don’t know how much longer I can keep the service.

I did the free month trial, I received two dresses quickly and did enjoy wearing them. However, they aren't as nice as other services like Rent the Runway - just your average dresses that you can find at a mall or TJ Maxx. They charged my card for the free trial, and I had to get in touch with someone because it wasn't clear when I signed up. I didn't know I could ship things back for more than 2 items in a month. The communication of the service needs work.

Lastly, I bought a dress on sale. Not one that I had out on loan, but through a flash sale they had on dresses. The dress was advertised as "floral two tone belted dress." I ordered the dress on April 4. I hadn't heard anything about shipping in about a week. Given the quick shipment for the rental items, it seemed odd. Then I was told to check back in if it hadn't shipped by the 16th. I emailed again, it was shipped on April 17. 13 days between? Not ideal. I open the package, and the "belted" dress comes with no belt. It's clear in the photos there is a belt and there are two belt loops on the dress. I've emailed to remedy the situation, but just bad customer service.

Hope they improve because it seems like it could be a cheaper, basic alternative to Rent the Runway, but just beware.

I really like the variety of clothing. What I don't like is not being able to select exactly what I want. If I have a special occasion coming up, I want to be able to choose my items.

I am still in my first month but just received my first shipment and I was very pleased. I see other reviews about what plus size women should not be wearing but the truth is that any woman should wear what they want whether or not it has horizontal strips., who cares!

I think they have a good selection. My only concern was how quick they get them to me and process the returns. I received my first shipment very quickly and I am ready to return starting tomorrow and even bought a great dress for $6.00.

Great service for a working woman who doesn't have a lot of time to shop and try on clothes.

I have been a member of Gwynnie Bee for several months now, and overall I am enjoying the service and I think it is worth the money. I started with the free trial (one month with 3 items out at a time) and quickly upgraded to the 7-items-at-once plan. I may upgrade again to the maximum plan available (10 items). The selection of clothes is decent, but admittedly could be better. They seem to focus on dresses and tops, although they do have pants and skirts and jackets too. They add new fashions at least once a week, and sometimes a couple of times a week. Turnaround times on shipments have been very prompt.

One great thing about this service is that it allows you to try new things without a purchase commitment, and members write reviews of items, with photos and size info (runs small, runs big, etc), which is so helpful in making selections. I've really enjoyed the variety it has added to my wardrobe. I feel like I am wearing new things all the time. I am the type who gets bored quickly with clothing items, so it's a big plus to be able to wear things once or twice and send them back. If you fall in love with an item, you can purchase it, which I have done several times. I do recommend giving it a try -- especially because you can do a one-month free trial.

I LOVE the concept of Gwynnie Bee. I own a marketing company and am the "face" of my company, so being stylish and bold is important to me. I love being able to wear clothes and send them back and keep my wardrobe ever changing. I have to say I'm glad that I'm locked in at the old pricing because as much as I love the service, I don't think I could justify the new pricing in my budget.

Shipping and return times have gotten pretty long too. In years past, I was getting a shipment or two per week. Now I'm lucky if I get one a week or every other week. That has been frustrating. Also, some of the inventory has been a little lacking. I find more weeks than not that I'm not as excited about the options as I was before. I'm glad you're embracing trends, but I'm sick of seeing cold shoulder everything!

I'm also glad you've embraced straight sized options, but it would be nice to see something in the sizing guidelines as to what's straight vs. plus. It's hard when some brands are sized as small, medium and large, to know if that small is a straight size small vs. a plus size small. I know it is determined by brand but it would be great if the distinction could be made more clear.

All in all, I'm happy with Gwynnie Bee and will continue the service. But I do hope for more exciting clothing options and shipping times.

I mostly rent dresses and tops as a way to add variety to my work clothes. I wish it was a little less expensive, but it’s still worth the cost for me. Sometimes I do have an issue getting something that’s a little dressier than I want for work, or wishing I could get something dressier for a more formal occasion on a specific date.

I have had this service for a while now and I think the business concept is fantastic. I have bought many pieces, and it's amazing to be able to wear it before you buy it. Now that I've had the service for a while I am beginning to feel like all the pieces are looking the same and I am finding less and fewer items I want to closet. They could definitely improve their styles. A lot of the items look similar and I have found myself thinking while scrolling through new arrivals, "Whoever their buyer loves a weird pirate sleeve! Ugh!"

Overall, this is a great service, but their styles could use improvement. I would recommend to a friend but warn them that the styles might get stale after a while.

I started with Gwynnie Bee when I was a size 14/16 and loved it! Especially the retro style dresses and wide selection of jeans. But I lost weight, and now I struggle to find anything in my size. The size suggestions just give me the smallest size, and that is often way too big. Also, the cool retro dresses have become so popular that you can't even closet them leaving me with boring choices. Gwynnie Bee needs to add more choices from brands like Hellbunny, Modcloth, Cherry Velvet, and EShakti not just one or two from each brand. At size 10/12 I'm too big for most of Le Tote's inventory but too small for Gwynnie Bee and it's very frustrating.

For the most part, I've been happy with the service for the past 5 and 1/2 years. I signed up when they were very new, so there have been some bumps and growing pains as they have grown as a company. For instance, sometimes the packages never arrive, many times the items have been missing belts, etc., other times the clothes have smelled horrible. For the most part, when I have voiced a complaint, it is has been taken care of to my satisfaction. I enjoy the selection and getting new items to try. I enjoy the option to purchase things that I love. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the service and would recommend it to friends to try out.

I've been on a weight loss journey for nearly three years, two of them with Gwynnie Bee "lending" me clothing along the way. It's been a good relationship with only minor hiccups along the way.

Pros: A constantly changing supply of (mostly) new clothing to enjoy along the way with (mostly) accurate sizing charts.

Cons: When the sizing charts are off, they are waaaaay off. But that purple bag is right there to receive the "toss backs." And when the pieces have been "previously enjoyed," they can be somewhat thread-worn. But that's only happened twice in my two years of experience and, again, the purple bag is right there.

Lingering issue: They say there's a pair of pants that I know I returned which they have never received. It's been sitting there for quite some time marked "return notified" but receipt never acknowledged. They've continued to send me all of the items to which I'm entitled, but at some point, they should give up on that pair of pants, don't you think?

I love having an endless wardrobe! I get so many compliments all the time about my outfits and it makes looking professional at work a breeze! My only complaint is that I often have to send things back because the sizing isn’t right, but that is the sizing the individual companies give GB so not really their fault.

I have been with Gwynnie Bee for several years. I love this service. I started with the company early and have witnessed the evolution in styles, sizes, vendors, jewelry, and shoes. Also noticed a lot of other companies offering similar services, but GB is the original. I love the items that I've purchased and always get compliments and have never, EVER seen anyone in clothing I own from GB.

There are so many things I love about Gwynnie Bee, from the excitement of opening my boxes, to the confidence I feel when I have a well fitting dress, to the way my husband looks at me and makes me feel sexy again. I ride the high of compliments pretty much every day when I get compliments like "I love your dress!" And I always respond "Thanks, it’s Gwynnie Bee! And they have a free month trial. You should try it." I wish there was some magical way to account for the number of strangers I’ve referred!

I love not having to do laundry or drive to the dry cleaners. Returns are easy. The customer service on the phone is always fantastic. Always feel valued and treated like a valued customer. Online/email help not as helpful like they have to follow certain protocols before they can take extra steps to correct.

My biggest complaint is how slow the boxes come and that they are automated without any input for style, like the time I got 5 pairs of jeans. What? Would have liked a mix of items. Also, a warning when you place an item in your closet in a different size when you already have one. Like "You already have this item in your closet in another size, are you sure you want to add?" I felt cheated when I did this inadvertently and both sizes were shipped in the same box. Had one less outfit that week but I’m sure there are times someone might like to order two sizes to find the right fit.

Regarding slowness, I have been really frustrated with the time in between boxes. And that when customer service would add items in hopes of making me happier (which it did) they didn’t tell me I was changing the plan long term and committing to a new level. I thought they were giving me a free month to try out that package and then it would revert but I kept seeing my bill climb month after month. And when I got to 5 items I was super frustrated. I still started 3 weeks in a row without an outfit for the weekend or Monday even when I reported I was reporting I was returning them in the app the moment they arrived. It’s gotten a bit better since customer service said to report them as returned as soon as they hit my in home section and not even wait til they get to the house but then my ratings on the style and size are meaningless because I haven’t actually tried anything on. That hasn’t seemed to be a big issue though.

Ultimately I felt totally ripped off for 5 items when I went so many work days without an outfit and there’s such a big jump in price from 3 to 5 items that I didn’t think matched the jump. I was charged $150, or maybe I bought an item that month now that I think about it. Anyway, an extra $50 for two items that never showed up in a timely manner wasn’t worth it so I went back to 3 knowing I may have to wear something of my own.

Thanks for your hard work to improve the customer service experience. I’m a huge fan. Gwynnie Bee has improved my quality of life in many ways and earned me lots of respect in my new position because it allows me to "dress the part." Y’all rock!

This is a good idea but it has a few bugs in it, although it has gotten much better in the last 9 months. The dresses and skirts, for the most part, fit pretty well and the items are fairly nice quality. The sizes on some of the items are slightly off. But GB is now giving you a percent of how close the sizes are, so that helps a bit. It would be nice if maybe one time a year (on the anniversary of your membership) they gave you a special reward. Like a 200 extra points or $5.00 off an item, etc. I have enjoyed my membership, because I have had a chance to try some new styles, colors, prints I would normally not look at. Thanks Gwynnie Bee!

Been a member since 2015, the choices are amazing, so many high-end options all in my size and to my door! The few times I've had to contact customer service they have been awesome. The only reason I can't give five stars is that recently the time for my box to be sent out has gone from a day to two days a couple of times longer and I have 80+ items in my closet.

GB has completely changed the way I think about clothes and getting dressed for work each morning. I used to wear the same clothes over and over - in the same pallet of black and grey. I have now reduced to just a staple wardrobe and rely on GB for 3-4 outfits a week. I have been very happy with the selection- though I would like to see more dresses with sleeves - the size ranges and styles. Not everything is my taste, but it is a simple way to try new styles without being committed. Shipping is fast and I feel like I always have something new to wear!

I have been using GB for about 2 years. I like it because it allows me to have newness in my wardrobe without too much financial or space commitment. It allows me to try new brands and experiment wish fashion with less of a risk.

I do feel, for the amount of money I pay, that I am less "wowed" with the products than I used to be. I would say at least 65% of the new arrivals are too boring/basic for me to want to closet. I can’t remember the last time I wore something from you guys that I absolutely couldn’t live without.

I would really like GB to incorporate more edgy, unique pieces in their collection. Like some of the funkier but still sophisticated pieces from ModCloth, City Chic, and Eloquii. I wish you guys still worked with ASOS Curve. Maybe some more indie brands.

I’d also like to see you collaborate with brands and come out with capsule collections that are bringing something new to plus-size fashion and making clothes that fat women want to wear available.

I think it would be cool to be able to rent swimsuits in the summer. I don’t know what hygiene risks are there.

Lastly, I always want to advocate for brands to go up in their sizing. I know you opened up your size range to straight size customers and while I think it’s great, if you want to reach even more people, there is a huge demographic for super fat people who desperately need clothing options!

I LOVE always having something new and different to wear! I’ve been a member for 4 years and no other clothing subscription compares as far as options and trends. My only complaint is the turn around time to get your next item. Even if I mark as returned and scan the tracking code on the return, it takes 5-7 days to get my next time. For example, I marked something as returned Wednesday and it is now Saturday and they haven’t even started my next box. This definitely needs improvement and would make a 4 star into a 5 star!

This has been a (mostly) great experience to have a new outfit nearly every day at work. The brand carried are fun and fresh, and it’s been nice to experiment with different styles. The only caveat is there are a LOT more brands that do not have or no longer carry my size, so many times I am unable to closet more than 1-2 things per "New Release" (which usually has 10-15 items). This starts to feel like shopping as it was, the kind of shopping I was hoping to avoid, where I wistfully looked through racks and racks of clothes and was constantly disappointed that brands didn’t care to cater to me or maybe didn’t feel my body size/shape would "look good" or represent them well. Essentially, I’m too fat, even for fat, and there’s a lot of social stigma attached to that.

Ultimately, I gave Gwynnie Bee 4 stars because it’s still such a great service. About a year ago it would have been 5 stars. My opinion is going downhill, and will continue to do so until GB remembers its roots in plus size fashion and caters to all large shapes and sizes.

Pros: Changed the way I think about clothes, gave me ideas to step outside my boring old fashion choices, boosted my confidence, provides casual to extra special garments I normally wouldn't purchase, when it's running as it should...it's amazing and I love it!

Cons: Inconsistency with shipping and uncloseting returns, not adhering to the 48-hour policy with getting in my at home and ready to ship, sending damaged or soiled items, not retiring overly worn things, hard to navigate app and mobile website, choosing professional photographs, and the same members over and over to highlight in the blog and on social media.

Bottom line: Gwynnie Bee has been/is a great service for me. I am dressing better and wearing a higher quality of clothes than ever before. I plan on us to continue this happy arrangement for years to come.

Gwynnie Bee has been pretty good. I have found, and purchased, some really great items that I might not have seen or selected otherwise. Some items have gone back out in the mail the same day! I do wish shipping or processing was quicker. It seems like the turn around has gotten longer to get new items.

Recently, I have found that lots of items have been unavailable in my size. There is no way to save the item so I can't always go back to check and see if it has become available.

I do suggest friends try their service. They do have a lot of great brands and its really nice to get to try things out with no trips to the store. Sometimes things won't fit or will be different than you expected. I have found new brands that I wouldn't have tried otherwise.

I hope that they increase their inventory so I can try some of the items that are unavailable and that they find a way to make shipping/processing a bit quicker between boxes.
