About H2O WindForce Vacuum

When it comes to cleaning your floors and other hard surfaces, there are about a million different vacuums you can choose from. Compared to the competition though, the H2O WindForce Vacuum claims to use “the natural cleansing power of water” to leave you with a healthier home. What benefits does this provide?

According to the manufacturer, unlike sponge or HEPA filters, H2O WindForce’s Micro Silver filtration system will never become clogged, which means you won’t have to worry about losing power or ejecting bacteria and other pathogens back into the air your breathe. Plus, you won’t have to buy expensive replacement filters!

Combined with its self-regulating computer, this is why the company calls the H2O WindForce Vacuum “the smartest, most powerful, most effective vacuum you’ll ever buy.” Is it really, though? Once you clear away all the marketing hype, can you really expect WindForce to perform as advertised? Even then, is it worth your money?

We’ve reviewed several of the most popular vacuums here at HighYa, so, combined with what we uncovered during our research, we’ll help you get a better idea whether or not the H2O WindForce is right for you.

What Features Will You Get With the H2O WindForce Vacuum?

At first glance, H2O WindForce doesn’t look a whole lot different than a standard canister vacuum.

Pro tip: To learn more about the different vacuum types—and to figure out which one is right for you—be sure to read our Vacuum Cleaner Buyer’s Guide!

Upon closer inspection though, you’ll notice a clear section near the roller base that houses water (we’re not told exactly how much by the manufacturer). The vacuum’s vulcanized wire reinforced hose attaches to a port, which routes any sucked-up debris through the water inside. Here, WindForce’s Micro Silver Technology (more about this soon) will kill germs, bacteria, and other pathogens before ejecting the filtered air through the rear.

In addition to normal vacuuming using its category I hurricane-strength air flow, the H2O WindForce can also pick up wet spills and deodorize and purify the air. It features a 4” under clearance, effortless maneuverability, a wand extension for cleaning up to 12 feet in height, Lexan body construction, and a detachable cord for easy storage.

Controlling all of this is an onboard, 2-speed, “self-regulating” computer that allows you to dial up the power or turn it down based on your needs,. You’ll also be able to set a digital timer for the built-in air cleaner.

Taken together, the company claims the H2O WindForce is a 6-in-1 solution that can replace your vacuum, air purifier, wet/dry vac, mini wet vac, blower, and inflator.

Taking a Closer Look at H2O WindForce’s Claims

Those certainly seem like great benefits! Based on what we’re told, we have a few different thoughts about WindForce, which we’ll outline here.

Does Water Act as a Good Vacuum Filter?

Although the technology isn’t always designed the same way, the basic premise behind using a water tank instead of a vacuum filter has been around for years. This way, you won’t have to worry about losing suction or the ability to trap ultra-small particles, or having to replace filters.

The potential downsides to these water vacuums is that they’re heavy and bulky (probably not ideal for a multi-level household, especially if you have a bad back), and they tend to be pricier than their bagged counterparts.

Because of how well they work, you’ll find several other water-filter vacuums available from popular manufacturers. As such, H2O WindForce definitely isn’t “the only vacuum that uses “the natural cleansing power of water,” as claimed by the company.

How do these other options compare from a price perspective? We’ll get to that in a moment, but first, let’s address some other questions we have about the H2O WindForce Vacuum.

What Is WindForce’s Micro Silver Technology?

Speaking of filtration, the company claims their Micro Silver Technology can help eliminate bacteria and pathogens from the air. How?

We’re not told. We do know that silver is a natural antibacterial agent, although we’re not provided any details about how this silver might be added to H2O WindForce (is it an additive or a specialized product that has to be purchased?).

How Powerful Is H2O WindForce?

Next, the company claims WindForce offers “category I hurricane strength air flow;” or about 74-95 mph. What does this mean for you?

As we discussed in our buyer’s guide, things like air speed and electricity used aren’t necessarily good methods of measuring a vacuum’s power. Instead, you’ll want to look a pounds per square inch (PSI), which is a detail we’re not informed about for WindForce.

What’s Going On With WindForce’s Self-Regulating Computer?

The manufacturer also doesn’t specify what they mean by a “self-regulating” computer. Does this mean that H2O WindForce remains at a constant speed? If so, how is it different than any other water-filter vacuum?

How Long Is the Cord?

Again, as we outlined in our buyer’s guide, cord length can have a major impact on the usefulness of your vacuum. After all, if you constantly have to keep plugging your vacuum into different outlets, the time spent can really add up.

Without any technical specs available on their website, we can’t say how long H2O WindForce’s cord is.

How Much Does the H2O WindForce Vacuum Cost?

When purchasing the WindForce Vacuum, you’ll have two different options:

Option #1

Three payments of $166.33, plus $29 S&H, bringing your total to $527.99. With your order, you’ll receive 4 bonus gifts:

  • Pet/upholstery brush
  • Dusting brush
  • Crevice tool
  • Hard surface broom

Option #2

Three payments of $199, plus $29 S&H, bringing your total to $626. With your order, you’ll receive everything found in Option #1, as well as:

  • Air purifier
  • Mini mate
  • Squeegee
  • 4 pack of fragrances
  • Storage bags

With either option, you can eliminate shipping by choosing a one-pay option.

The company claims that if you don’t “notice an immediate difference” within 30 days, you can return your WindForce for a full refund, less S&H charges.

Important note: Considering WindForce’s size and potential weight, it’ll probably cost you a decent chunk of change to send it back to the manufacturer.

Your H2O WindForce Vacuum will also come with a 5-year warranty against manufacturers defects related to the motor and wiring.

In order to request a refund or file a warranty claim, customer service can be reached at (844) 787-4275.

Speaking of customers, what are they saying about the WindForce Vacuum?

Are There Any WindForce Vac Customer Reviews?

Our goal at HighYa is to bring you in-depth reviews about the latest products, so we often research them as soon as they hit the market. Because of this, there weren’t any WindForce reviews at the time of writing.

We learned that the WindForce Vacuum is manufacturer by a company named Intelliclean Solutions LLC, with a customer service address based out of McMinnville, TN. They don’t have any trace of an online presence, and other than a similarly-named concrete company in FL, the only other match was a Boise, Idaho company with an apartment as a corporate address.

We also found a trademark application for a device named the Quantum Vacuum, which was submitted in April 2016 and contains very few details.

Is the H2O WindForce a Revolutionary New Way to Vacuum?

As we can see, H2O WindForce doesn’t appear to be a “revolutionary” vacuum, as there are several other water-filter vacuums out there from third-party manufacturers. We also have some questions about its power and cord length, the details of its Micro Silver Technology, as well as the tangible benefits of its “self-regulating” computer.

From a price perspective, we found one water vacuum model priced close to $400, but beyond this, most seemed to fall in the $600 to $900 range. At about $530 (or $630 if you want all the attachments and true 6-in-1 capability), this means that the H2O WindForce Vacuum seems to fall at the lower end of this spectrum. Does this mean you should buy one?

With few exceptions, we’ve found that shopping based on price alone isn’t always a great idea. Instead, factors that improve a product’s overall value include how well it performs, how well it’s built (longevity), and how well the company supports their customers. And from these aspects, we’re largely in the dark about the WindForce.

The good news is that if you decide to spring for a new WindForce Vacuum, the company seems to stand behind their product with a 30-day refund policy. Just remember that you might lose a meaningful amount of money in return shipping if you’re dissatisfied.
