What Is Healthycell Pro?
Designed by a Nobel Prize-nominated physician, the Healthycell Pro System consists of morning and evening dietary supplements formulated with a blend of 60+ phytonutrients that promise to support skin, heart, brain, eye, bone, and immune health.
By infusing your cells with this 24-hour cycle of nutrition, the website claims the supplement system can address the chronic degeneration of cell health over time, leading to improved health, boosted performance, and a longer life.
Specifically, after taking two tablets in the morning and another two in the evening, they report that studies have shown 88 percent of HealthyCell Pro users experienced better sleep, while two out of three experienced better energy and sharper focus.
Have you finally found the secret to improved aging here? Can you expect the Healthycell Pro supplement system to deliver life-changing benefits, optimal health, and a revived quality of life, as claimed on their website?
Let’s help you find some answers by discussing how aging is linked to less-than-optimal health.
The Basics of Why We Age
Long story short: the scientific community isn’t precisely sure what causes us to age. However, The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, CA notes there are two main theories:
- Genetics – A gene or genes “tell our body how long it will live.” Therefore, “if you could change that particular gene, we could live longer.”
- DNA Damage – The small changes caused by DNA damage add up over time, leading to big changes that ultimately result in the inability of DNA to properly function. This is the ‘chronic cellular damage’ frequently referenced on the Healthycell website.
Recently, scientists have also paid especially close attention to telomeres (protective segments of DNA that protect the ends chromosomes) and their relationship to aging, which shorten each time a cell divides.
With these basics in mind, Healthycell’s Pro system promises to deliver compounds and phytonutrients (potentially helpful plant-based compounds) to your body that can boost the quiescence (non-dividing cells slated to die) and early senescence (when cells are no longer able to divide) stages of the cellular lifecycle.
Which Ingredients Are Contained in Healthycell Pro Cellular Health System?
Between each of these formulations, there are a total of 77 ingredients in Healthycell’s Pro system (click here to view a full list), many of which are found in proprietary blends aimed at providing antioxidant protection, DNA repair, telomere health, stem cell and mitochondria health, cell regulation, gene expression, probiotics, and enzymes.
Compared to many of the other dietary supplements we’ve reviewed, though, the company provided a complete list of each ingredient, including dosages, which certainly helps consumers better understand what they’re getting for their money.
Instead of overloading you with information regarding all the clinical data related to each of these ingredients, let’s quickly take a look at what the company says about their supplements, and then we’ll discuss what authoritative sources have to say about their potential benefits:
- Morning Formula – A blend of 77 ingredients intended to help you focus and perform at your peak, support cellular thriving, and deliver the energy you need to “execute tasks all day long.”
- Evening Formula – A blend of 61 ingredients (most of which are also found in the Morning Formula, only in slightly different dosages) formulated to repair daily cellular damage, eliminate harmful toxins from the body, and better prepare your body for what lies ahead tomorrow.
According to sites like WebMD, the Natural Medicines Database, and Examine.com, each of these supplements contains vitamins and minerals that are essential to daily health. For example, vitamin A is essential for vision, immune function, and reproduction. Vitamin C is required for collagen production and wound healing. Copper is a must-have for blood vessel, nerve, immune system, and bone health.
However, as we’ve learned during our research over the years, most of us aren’t deficient in these essential vitamins and minerals. And unless we’re deficient, organizations like the National Institutes of Health, Nutrition.gov, and the American Heart Association (to name just a few) note that taking dietary supplements isn’t generally beneficial for otherwise healthy individuals.
With this said, the website references a 12-week national study for the system, claiming “After completing a baseline health and wellness questionnaire, study participants began using Healthycell Pro. Each week, they completed another questionnaire that assessed specific areas of overall health and wellbeing: energy, sleep, and focus.”
Specifically, 20 percent more participants reported feeling an increase in energy, more than 30 percent a boost in sleep quality, and a 17 percent increase in perceived focused. “Additionally,” they conclude, “61% reported improvement in the appearance of their skin.”
Could Healthycell Pro’s Ingredients Cause Side Effects?
With such a broad range of ingredients included in these Morning and Evening formulas, there are a variety of potential side effects that could occur.
For example, WebMD reports that in a small percentage of people (no specifics or dosages provided), chromium can cause side effects like “skin irritation, headaches, dizziness, nausea, mood changes, and impaired thinking.” Ginkgo may cause dizziness, constipation, forceful heartbeat, and allergic skin reaction, while turmeric may lead to dizziness or diarrhea.
So, while Healthycell tells us that neither of these formulations contains dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, shellfish, or artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors, you'll certainly want to speak with your doctor before taking this—or any other—dietary supplement.

What Can We Learn From Healthycell Pro Customer Reviews?
On the Healthycell website, 46 customers had given their Pro System an average five-star rating, with the most common compliment citing effective results (boosted energy, reduced pain, better sleep, and improved vitality, etc.).
We also encountered more than 250 customer reviews for the original multi-vitamin formulation on Amazon, who gave it a slightly lower 4.1-star average rating, with many of the same compliments. On the other hand, frequent complaints (what relatively few there were) revolved around no results, side effects like headaches and stomachaches, and high price.
From a company perspective, Healthycell is based out of Montclair, NJ and has been in business for more than three decades. It was founded by Dr. Vincent Giampapa, who is also behind the Jeunesse Global anti-aging skincare brand.
In addition to these roles, he’s also an assistant clinical professor at Rutgers University, a founding partner for Griffin Capital Group International, and Medical Director at the Plastic Surgery Center Internationale, also in Montclair, NJ.
While the Healthycell website frequently mentions that Dr. Giampapa was nominated for a 2014 Nobel Prize in the area of stem cell research, we weren’t able to find any official confirmation of this during our research.
How Can You Choose an Anti-Aging Supplement?
Collectively, the HighYa team has investigated more than 660 dietary supplements over the years. And in addition to their specific formulations (and the related ‘deficiency factor’ we discussed in the Ingredients section earlier), some of the most important distinctions between them largely come down to the manufacturer:
- Do they automatically enroll customers in a ‘free’ trial or recurring shipping membership?
- Do they use over-the-top marketing language?
- Do they support their claims with clinical evidence?
- Do they provide a complete list of ingredients, including dosages, even in proprietary blends?
- Do they come with mostly positive customer feedback? Are there any common concerns?
Does this bode well for the Healthycell Pro system?
Our Final Thoughts About Healthycell Pro
Using these guidelines as our base, Healthycell’s Pro System seems to measure up nicely. They provide a full list of ingredients and dosages, in-depth scientific material related to cellular aging, and frequently reference a 12-week clinical study. Note: We reached out to the company for a copy, but hadn’t received a response at the time of publishing.
Furthermore, there are no free trials, customers aren’t automatically signed up for recurring shipments (although you’ll pay a higher price if you opt for a one-time order), their website is user-friendly, and is fully upfront about the company’s policies and practices.
Just remember that dietary supplements are subject to very little governmental oversight. Also, that due to the sheer number of possible side effects and prescription medication interactions for any given ingredient, you must always talk with your doctor before beginning any new supplement regimen, the Pro system or otherwise.
But if your physician recommends a multi-vitamin supplement, as far as companies go, Healthycell seems to stand behind theirs with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, although you’ll have to pay return S&H charges if you’re dissatisfied with its performance.
