My lawn always looks terrible and was up late one night watching TV and saw ad. Wasn't sure but for 20 bucks why not! Anyways worked really good, my husband was surprised. The grass blended in really good with old lawn and it grew in quickly. I even hit a couple mows in before the snow came.

I should have written this long ago. Long story why I didn't, but here it is now:

I was redoing a fairly large section of my yard, ordered enough Hydro Mousse stuff to do the job, then sprayed it as instructed. Less than a week later, our area, southeast Michigan, experienced a 100-year rainstorm that, among many other things, caused a torrent to flow thru my yard, right where I had sprayed all those seeds. A day or so after the rain, I called the company, explained the situation and asked if I could get replacement seeds (and blue stuff) at the same price as I had gotten the original ones. Instead, they said they would replace the whole batch free of charge. And, a few days later the replacements arrived. Interestingly and much to my surprise, about a third of the original seeds had managed to hang on in spite of the flood, and were starting to grow as I went about re-applying the seeds. The new ones did fine and grew grass that was greener and thicker than the original lawn. I found this site while looking for the phone number of the Hydro Mousse company. I want to order more seeds in order to gradually replace my old tired grass in the original part of the lawn with the Hydro Mousse seeds I used earlier. I haven't found them yet and sure hope your reviews didn't drive them out of business.

I have been using this product for three years. We apply in late October and early March. We see incredible results with Lush beautiful grass. It's a blend of Frecus tall and red, Kentucky blue and hybrid rye. Our lawns were neglected by previous owner. Now with proper grass food (fertilizer) from Menards, the best, forget all that Scotts stuff our lawn is awesome. Hydro Mousse for the bare spots blend great and looks great. If I had the money I would tear up the entire lawn and do it with Hydro Mousse. We ordered the pro kits (2) 1,000 square feet. The only difference we did was a thin covering of top soil over the finished spray due to inquisitive birds. You must water three times a day.

I really detest these dodo's who write reviews and wreck a great product. You should never base judgments on the few. Do your research.

I "Hydro Moussed" large areas of my front yard, and it came out fully green and like sod. I took out some flower beds from the previous owner, and the soil was old, but it still worked well. I "Hydro Moussed" at my old house in the backyard and it grew in very well. The best sections of new grass were "Hydro Moussed." The green dye is messy to work with, but it makes a difference. It worked excellent in shaded areas where I had trouble growing grass.

I used this at the campground and sprayed it where I could never get grass to grow. I now have thick green grass. It works great. It is true, it will grow where you spray it. It will be thick and green and will hold up to heat and cold just fine. Great product, will recommend it to everyone.

I bought a house that had a flower bed in a weird spot in the yard, so I got rid of it and decided to grow grass there. I followed the instructions and watered three times daily. Grass sprouted within five days. It's been two weeks since I put it down and it is spreading out pretty evenly, and almost at the 3" height where I can mow it. I tried to lay down regular seed before I got the hydro mousse, and I think it just washed away from the rain. Make sure you loosen your dirt/soil before spraying it.
