The product that SmileDirectClub produces to improve your smile works great and is very affordable. As long as you are okay with their poor customer service and inability to keep their promises and production and ship times, this is a great choice. It has been my experience that on the surface, they try to make you feel like they care and will deliver on their promises. When I first ordered my aligners, I was promised 4-6 weeks for them to arrive. After multiple calls, they finally arrived at 11 weeks. When I had to have a re-scan after the end of my 6-months of anglers, they scheduled them to arrive in 4 weeks, they arrived after 8 weeks. When I ordered my retainers on 10/14/2019, the order was never placed by the customer service representative, I called back on 11/26 to check on my order which was supposed to arrive in 4 weeks and was informed that it was not ordered and they would NOT expedite an order. They made excuses and promised again to have the retainers in my hands no later than 12/17. I won't believe it until I see it. The customer service representative also stated that he would personally watch my order, making sure it got to production and then would personally call me when they were scheduled to ship. Other customer service representatives have offered the same but none have follow-through. SmileDirectClub has a great business model and product, but their service is the absolute worst and they will fail if they don't fix it. BAD, BAD, BAD.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
