I got ripped off by this company

By Lynn S., Palm Coast, FL, Verified Reviewer

Unfortunately, I decided to try their bras based on the hype they put on their website about the bra.

I used their sizing chart to measure myself for a bra. They said I wore their size 3. I fell in the middle of the range for who would fit this size bra. So, it should have been a perfect fit. Instead, it was WAY too tight. It was very uncomfortable. Also, I had spillage on the sides of the bra, and I am by no means overweight. The other big issue was the color. It was a dark green and brown; it did not match the color they showed in a small thumbnail at all, NOT EVEN CLOSE to the color they showed. It is so dark, it could only be worn under a black shirt.

This is the most uncomfortable bra I have ever purchased in my life. Do NOT get scammed by this company. They are refusing to do a return because they said it was a discounted item. This must have been in fine print somewhere on their website because I can't find their reason for refusing to refund me on the website. This means they were trying to unload product that they could not sell. I disputed the charge for the bra on my credit card.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

NIX the Knix bras

By Susie V., Iowa, Verified Reviewer

I was excited when I read about Knix bras on a social media ad. I went onto their website and ordered several bras and a couple of pairs of panties ($213 worth) to try. I have ordered thousands of dollars of clothing and undergarment items online. Places like Victoria's Secret allows returns for unworn items. Even Bravado, a nursing bra, which I bought after having our first child allows returns if they don't fit. I did not look at the fine print on the returns (my bad, but this is the first time I have had such an unfavorable customer experience, so I rarely ever look at return policies because most online sites allow returns within 30 days).

After trying on the first bras I ordered (the day the shipment arrived), the material was too thin to be modest even with a shirt on. The panties were not all that comfortable, so I decided to return everything (the day after the shipment arrived). As I was trying to return online, everything was denied for a refund, and it only allowed me the option of store credit (the panties were not returnable). Ok even though that is frustrating because other websites allow panties to be returned, I at least wanted to get close to $200 worth of money back on the bras. Nope. Bras cannot be returned for a refund when on sale. Now because one of the styles of bras I ordered was on sale, it kicked the whole order into a return for store credit only mode. I emailed customer service and they were VERY SORRY but suggested to try other items.

I was upset but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try the one padded bra option, so I completed the exchange. At this point, there was nothing else on their website to order that I could wear so I knew I would be stuck with this order but I tried to be positive hoping that the padded bra would be my new favorite. So, I washed one up and put it on and within an hour of wearing it, I was hot and sweaty because the material wasn't breathable. I took it off and went back to my worn comfortable bras of another brand. I wanted them to work badly for them but now I am now out $200.

Disappointing, to say the least, and I will not ever buy from this group again. How is one supposed to know what will fit without trying on for comfort when buying online? I just placed another order for Victoria's Secret bras because they don't play games with returns and exchanges. I do not recommend Knix!

Impossible to get a decent fit, and impossible to get refund

By Patty B., La Quinta, CA, Verified Reviewer

I ordered three tops and based on my size, I should wear a Small. I'm 5'3" 110 pounds. They were so tight, they hurt.

I tried for a refund, but no, I could only do an exchange. Okay, I'll try different products and go for a size medium. A couple of the items seem to fit, and I will be able to use them, but they aren't particularly comfortable...but not unusable either. But one item, which was on clearance, was so large that I could be six feet tall and it would still be too long in the trunk. The sizing of this item is in the extreme, the opposite of all the other items. It too is a Medium, but I probably need an Extra Small. Of course, since it was on sale, it's not refundable, and it doesn't even qualify for an exchange. So, I have this thing that is not sized in relation to any of their other products, and I can't exchange it, and it's like throwing money away.

The products themselves are quite cheap and not very comfortable. The prices seem way out of line with the quality. I gave them two chances and tried a variety of their products in the process. Save your money. These products are sized randomly, and impossible to get a good fit without several tries. And if you happen to take advantage of a price reduction take a match to your money, it will save you time and effort.

Horrible company policies

By Colleen L., Massachusetts, Verified Reviewer

My husband made a purchase in November 2018 as a Christmas present. I have stage 4 breast cancer and hoped that this would help after my lumpectomy. The size was way too small. He was trying to exchange, but the website couldn't find the order. After contacting them, the response is that it's been too long to do an exchange. January 12th - mind you, this is the standard products that they are promoting today (the NEW 8 in 1 revolution bra and tank). I only wanted to exchange for a larger size.

This company is a fraud, the sizing is terrible, and I now have $100 in bra/tank that I can never use.

Horrible customer service and return policy - deceptive practices

By Toni S., Georgia, Verified Reviewer

I ordered 2 bras to try since Knixwear kept popping up on my social media feed. Evidently, when I used the promo code, I suddenly became unable to return my bras. Fast forward...I received my 2 bras and excitedly tried one on. It is THE MOST HORRIBLY FITTING BRA EVER! I went back to my order email which not only showed $0 under discounts it also said NOTHING about not being able to return my purchase. I went to the website and when I put my return info in, it said I was unable to return it. So I emailed the company...they said they "tried to make their sale return policy as clear as possible." But for the first time user, it was NOT clear. They're luring you in as a new customer and then having zero quality customer service is both deceptive and wrong. I would definitely tell anyone to not order anything from Knix!

Poorly made products and terrible customer service

By Megan G., Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I asked them for suggestions to fix a bra that was falling apart after less than 2 years. Their reply offered no suggestions but instead stated that I should replace my bras every 8-12 months and then lectured me on how to care for it. (I know how to care for bras, I've been wearing them for more than 20 years and even the cheapest ones have lasted me longer than 2 years.) They then proceeded to offer me 15% off my next purchase. Why would I want to make another purchase from a company that sells inferior products and treats their customers so poorly?

I replied to their email that I was disappointed with their response and they never bothered to get back to me.

My purchase at Knix has only left me with regrets

By Anne A., Frisco, TX, Verified Reviewer

I ordered 4 pairs of absorbent period panties from Knix, looking for an alternative to other brands I have tried. One thing I REALLY like about other period undies (NOT Knix) is the extra coverage in the back and the comfortable feel of not wearing a pad and like wearing the undies the most at night when I need more protection all over. But...while the Knix panties may be very absorbent in the limited crotch area, they have no lining or absorption anywhere else. I think they were designed by a man or a woman who is blessed with very light periods. Further, the crotch material is very thick and bunches when you put them on - major camel toe and again, the protected crotch area ends between my legs, and based on my personal experience, that's just not going to work.

Knix also has a no-return policy for panties. I reached out to customer service and received an automated response about how the panties will stretch if they feel tight at first. I responded to their survey about their response a few days ago that they didn't answer my question and I wasn't satisfied and I didn't receive any other follow-up. So I'm stuck with these even though I can't wear them. I don't write a lot of reviews, but these are so bad and I need to help other people avoid this company's products and poor customer service.

Do not trust the "easy" return policy!

By Heather A., Seattle, WA, Verified Reviewer

I purchased two Knixwear bras. They didn't fit right and were super uncomfortable. No problem, I thought, their return policy said I could return within 30 days!

So that's exactly what I did. Returned both bras ($90 + shipping) and the policy stated that I would have my credit card refunded within 7-10 days once they received the bras.

I sent them back in April 2018, it's now July 13, 2018, and I've yet to see a refund. I've also tried to contact them via email (they do not give a phone number) THREE TIMES and have heard nothing.

If you choose to order Knixwear, you had better sure of the fit because their return policy is a joke in my experience.

Inaccurate sizing

By Melissa R., Alberta, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the evolution bra. The material is very thin and flimsy, but it’s soft and does feel comfortable on. The issue is it fits MUCH too small. According to their size chart, I’m a 32DDD which puts me at a size 6.

I can barely squish into the bra. When I’ve finally packed myself in, I’m left with spillage into my armpits, over the top of the bra and left with a weird uni-boob with nipples that show through a t-shirt because the material is so thin.

They don’t do refunds, only exchanges. I’m really not keen at all to size up as I highly doubt one size up will fit any better, and after this experience, I don’t want to bother with the underwear or any other products.

Very misleading and misrepresented, and sizes are completely off.

Spend your money elsewhere!

Unhappy customer

By Beth L., Michigan, Verified Reviewer

I bought a package of leak-proof underwear. Nowhere did it say it was non-returnable before I purchased. I bought bras from them in the past and exchanged with no issue. I followed their size guide and it corresponded with my normal size, so I ordered. $75. I received them and they are too small. When I clicked the exchange button, it told me they are ineligible. I emailed customer service and this is what they said:

"Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear the underwear is not a good fit. Our underwear can absolutely fit a little bit snugly at first but it is intended to. It relaxes with wash and wear! I would encourage you to give them a wash and another try.

Unfortunately all of our underwear is final sale and isn't eligible for return or exchange. If you'd like to try another size I'd be happy to offer you 10% off your new order. Here's a discount code you can apply to the order..."

I will NEVER buy from this company again! What a waste of money!

False advertising

By Harriet C., Wisconsin, Verified Reviewer

Bought the Razor Back Evolution bra and the Evolution Body Suit. Size chart in these two items said to get the XXL for my 38DDDD (size F on their chart). They are way too small in the cup area. And the straps are too short and dig into my shoulders. They say in the packing slip to wear it for a while and it will adapt and mold to fit my shape. Actually, I don't want any bra or bodysuit to relax. I want them to be supportive. I don't need the bra to stretch and not support my ladies. Also, I don't want the bra to adapt to my shape, I want it to shape me.

Read the return policy carefully before you purchase, which I did not do. They will not give you a refund if you received 20% or more off on a sale item. And for some reason, they will not give me a refund on the bra I paid full price for. They will do an exchange but their items don't fit me so I cant do an exchange. I sent an email to their customer service just now to get a refund on the bra. 7/25/19. We'll see how that goes, then I will update this review if this site will let me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to leave this review.

Absolute garbage

By Sharon C., British Columbia, Canada, Verified Reviewer

If I could give a negative 5 out of 5 I would. I ordered the bra and the thigh saver underwear. First off, the bra is not the most comfortable bra or even supportive, I have had more comfortable bras from Victoria's Secret and paid less.

I got one wear out of the panties, washed them once and the glue that holds the panty seam together came apart. The one wear I got out of it was okay; however, the panty kept falling down. Worst money I have ever spent, I will stick to buying bras and underwear in-store at the Bay.

Very bad coverage

By Tannie D., Corona, CA, Verified Reviewer

I actually bleed outside of the liner area... it's like whoever designed this only bled straight down, or was not a woman at all. When you are sitting, walking, doing exercise, sleeping, your body movements change, and so will the blood exiting. I'm sitting often, so the blood pools, just above where they put the absorbent liner area. It's very frustrating, I have to put in a liner on top of the period panties so my period doesn't miss the mark.

They are okay for sleeping, but that's pretty much it. I wouldn't wear this outside for any reason.

Absorbency is a joke and the seams are ripping

By Eliana D., Miami, FL, Verified Reviewer

I bought leakproof underwear about 6 months ago, so it only has 6 wears and it’s already ripping at the seams. I’ve bought much cheaper underwear that’s lasted much longer. I don’t even put these in the dryer so I don’t know why it’s ripping. Plus, the absorbency is not that great and I got the ones that were supposed to be for heavy flows. I can only wear them on my light days or else I’ll bleed through. Thinx is much better.

Not worth the hype

By Tina S., Denver, CO, Verified Reviewer

I got a 15% off coupon that wasn’t taking 15% off. I contacted them to find out not all items qualify for the 15% off order. I personally think that when companies do this, they are jerks. Then I ordered the three mystery pairs of undies and I got three slate green. OK, so when they offer that deal, they have a color they want to get rid of, and you are just going to get one color.

Then I put them on. I thought, oh, these fit nice. Not pinching anywhere, feel really smooth and flat against the skin. I went to put my pants on, and they rolled down. So on top of them just not giving a crap about the consumer, their product is not that great for what you pay.

Purchased bras and leak proof underwear

By Gina G., British Columbia, Canada, Verified Reviewer

Everything fit small.

I had to put all of the bras on backwards, spin them around, and contort myself to get into the straps.

I was spilling out of the sides of the Catalyst bra, and the straps were maxed out, so there is no way they would have crisscrossed on the back. The pads in the Padded 8-in-1 Evolution bras are insufficient for modesty and float inside the material like a cheap bikini top. The squished the top of my breasts and gave me a deformed uni-boob.

The leak-proof panties were a monumental fail. Three styles leaked in about an hour on a light day. Do not use them as primary protection. Perhaps they would work as a backup for a Diva Cup?

Consider getting a size larger for everything you buy.

Inaccurate sizing, poor customer service = lost customer

By S N., Canada, Verified Reviewer

The website touts 24-hour responses, but I am going on 15 days with multiple attempts to get a response from customer service! With exception to my first attempt (in which the CS agent misread/mis-responded to my inquiry), it's been RADIO SILENCE!

Not only is the sizing chart off, but there is no way to order a new more fitting size - one can only order a new color in the SAME size.

On top of this, I purchased the bra on sale and it won't honor the sale price for the exchange (despite the fact that I used their sizing chart and it was inaccurate).

Poor return policy

By Delores G., Carlsbad, CA, Verified Reviewer

Ordered 2 items from this company. Neither one was right for me. One item (according to their policy ) was not returnable (panties) and other item was a bra which I tried to return. Info was given to me that I could donate it to a shelter. Their was a pop up that said "OK got it thanks". No way to get pop up off unless you hit "OK got it thanks". What happened then is that the return process stopped. When I tried to go back in both items were now under not returnable. Researched other reviews and I am not the only one with this problem. Defective item; very dissatisfied

By Heather H., Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, Verified Reviewer

I ordered two evolution bras at the end of April as part of their buy one get one half off promotion. I ordered the size based on the online quiz you take on their website. When the bras arrived I thought they seemed a bit large but they were comfortable so I figured I’d give them a chance. I actually retook their online quiz and this time the results were 3 sizes smaller than the last time even though I’d given the exact same answers.

So fast forward a month and a half to June and these bras are completely useless. They have completely stretched out and don’t regain their shape even after careful washing - not one but BOTH bras have the exact same problem. Both bras are completely unwearable now as they offer no support whatsoever. For the amount of money I paid, this is ridiculous. I emailed customer service and was told that because it was more than 30 days I couldn’t return or exchange them despite the fact that they are useless to me and I’m out $70. The equally useless customer service rep Hannah instead offered me 20% off my next order. I have assured them I will never be ordering anything from this company again and I have also informed the BBB which unsurprisingly they are not accredited with.

Love turned to disappointment and lachrymose

By Ana K., Wilton, CT, Verified Reviewer

I at first I was so thrilled with my 6 new Knixwear bras! From the packaging to the soft material. I invested almost $300 in what I was sure was my long-awaited, comfortable, long lasting bra collection.

But sad to report that after only 3 months of wear, I only enjoy wearing 1 sole bra - the Longevity bra, but only in blue.

The Longevity bra in grey - the material is non-breathable and contributed to my developing a fungal rash in my cleavage from sitting sweat.

The "Evolution" padded bras - not only did the pads inside float and warp, they are now too loose to provide any comfort let alone support.

The Racerback bra had the same issues as the Evolution bra.

I wrote to Knix and included photos highlighting all of the rapid decline. They at first wanted to resize me. But I had already been through 3 sizes, so I requested a refund.

They refunded me for 2 of 6 - better than nothing. A big waste of excitement, time, and money.

Can't get money back, only store credit

By Marjorie O., California, Verified Reviewer

I thought I'd try out Knixwear's products so I bought a bra and panty and a tank. After I received the box, I saw that I couldn't return the panty even if I didn't try it on. That was annoying, but okay.

I tried the bra and the tank and absolutely hate how they shape my body. It flattened my chest and squished it out the sides.

I tried to do a return, but I can only get store credit.

I don't want store credit - getting a different color isn't going to make me like their products! When I wrote to customer service, they reiterated I could only get store credit.

What a waste of money!
