    Scam!

    • Minneapolis, MN,
    • Oct 27, 2015

I was under the understanding that this product was free. I started receiving packages from 2 companies: Bella Labs and La Creme Skin Care. I was still thinking they were free. Yesterday I Googled the company and read the fine print. All 6 of these packages charged my card $87.63. I called and they harassed me. Calling the Better Business Bureau and my bank. My rating: NO STARS!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Scam

    • Portland, OR,
    • Sep 22, 2015

I recall what happened. I ordered a sample from BellaLabs and at the end of my transaction, it asked if I wanted to also order a trial version of La Creme. I clicked no thank you, and nothing happened so I exited out and when I got my purchase from BellaLabs I immediately called them and asked to remove my payment history. I only received cream from BellaLabs. Weeks later I noticed that my account is short and see a charge for La Creme there so I called and was informed that I am a liar. I would've have called La Creme had I known what was happening, just like I did with BellaLabs. I have never used this product nor do I have it in my home. I do not have their product nor have I never tried it.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Scammed

    • Ypsilanti, MI,
    • Aug 30, 2015

I ordered the LaCreme. I used it a few days and had a bad reaction on my face. I stopped using it but it was late to call the company. I called 10 days instead of the 9 they claim that I needed to. The guy I talked to told me he would have to charge me the $87 since I had not called back when I was suppose to. I told him it was late in coming to me and I had been out of town. He finally talked with someone and then he said I could keep it for half the price. I had told him that it broke out my face and I didn't want to keep something that would be bad on my face. He again went to talk to someone and finally said that they would refund my money and would send me a confirmation number accordingly. He also told me that he would send me a label to send it back. I waited a week but never received the label so I sent it back in the same package and to the return address.

We checked our credit card statement three weeks later and they had charged the $87 and no refund. I called again and they said they had no record that I had called and there was no record of receiving it back. Without record or a confirmation number, they could do nothing except give me half off. I checked my e-mail and sure enough there was no confirmation number. I said, “But I sent it back and you expect me to pay for something I don't have?”. She said that it would be shipped back since it was not authorized to send back since and they had not received the original call from me. We'll see if I get anything back. What a scam!

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Scam

    • Honolulu, HI,
    • Aug 25, 2015

After reading other reviews, I don't know how this company is still in business. I should have read reviews before ordering the "free" sample. I received the product and my credit card was charged. After I called to cancel, there was no delivery for a month. I received another delivery this month and was charged for it again. This is a scam that preys on mature ladies hoping that they don't check their credit card statements.

    Good luck canceling

    • Ohio,
    • Aug 18, 2015

I ordered a "free trial" of both LaCreme and BellaLabs. I received one receipt. When I tried to cancel my subscription, I contacted the support number on my one receipt. BellaLabs offered to let me keep the product for 1/2 off, so I did that. A month later, I received another package of LaCreme and my credit card was billed $87.63. I called BellaLabs, who confirmed I had canceled the order with them, but needed to also cancel with LaCreme and gave me an email that bounced and a phone number that didn't answer but I left a message two days in a row without any reply.

The third day, I called and waited almost a half hour on hold. Then the person said that I should have gotten a separate receipt with their contact information on it (which I didn't and I checked all my emails and junk file) and the most they could do was refund half the price and I could keep the product. It didn't matter that I'd never been informed these products were separate orders, I'd never received a separate email order confirmation or contact info.

The product itself is nothing special. I've used it for over a month now and there's no noticeable difference in my skin.

Their "free trial" isn't free nor is there any fine print about the order/cancelation process that's obvious, easy to find or restated on any receipt, not even a link with information about the refund policy, which any reputable company would provide. This is their way of getting your credit card info and charging you until you catch onto their scam and then they keep part of your money and won't let you return the product after the trial period is over. Buyer beware.

    Scam

    • Woodstock, IL,
    • Aug 14, 2015

I wouldn't even give them 1 star. My friend ordered the free trial (she's 91 years old) and didn't realize that she would need to cancel AFTER A FREE TRIAL. This company took $461.93 from her account without her knowledge. I don't understand why they want to take money from senior citizens.

    Customer Fraud

I ordered because I saw their commercial giving a free bottle of anti wrinkle creme, with positive reviews on the advertisement. I was never informed that I was actually buying anything. I got the cream and used it without any difference on my skin, gave no other thought to it. The next thing I noticed is that I got a second bottle and information that I would be charged the $87,00 plus shipping & Handling. This was Saturday and I called only to hear that their business hours are only Monday through Friday.

I called on Monday and after I said I had not ordered anything and was sending the pack back they hung up on me twice. I sent an email and they replied they would send me a reply in 24 to 48 hrs. The reply I got said I had purchased and they would not refund me. I never read anything that stated that I'm enrolling in some kind of membership. The people are not legitimate business people, they are thieves. The product is not worth a dollar.

Shipping Issues, Snippy reply from company

    • Albuquerque, NM,
    • Aug 2, 2015

Urgh! First of all, I normally do not order from these websites, but I am aging (over 50), and I saw a product that may drastically help my skin tone. I looked and looked at all the testimonials and reviews on their site. I ordered the 14-day trial, but after the 14 days, I still had no product. I tracked it, and the post office had returned it for a bad address. Hey, My confirmation had the correct address so I looked further. It turns out that somewhere down the line (shipping contractor) changed my 87144 zip to 87199.

When I sent a detailed message to customer support, they stated they had shipped it to the correct address, but they did not. They did not even look at my documentation which stated the obvious. Bad customer service!

    Big Scam

    • Athens 30601,
    • Jul 27, 2015

This is a worthless product. They send 2 samples under different names but they're really all the same. This is nothing but some cheap cream that smells awful! Then you look at your bank account the next month and they duplicate the creme order and charge you $87.63 twice. Big mistake and now you can not get it back. Buy Dr Perricone products. They are nice to deal with and are ethical. LaCreme is a big scam.

Expensive water, and they will win in credit card dispute

    • Myrtle Beach SC,
    • Jul 17, 2015
    • Verified Reviewer

Case #751536254501 from Citi for my 14 day trial purchase, I called La Creme and they did take me off the auto renew but would not refund my charge, my trial was to expire 5/5/15 and I called and complained about the product on 4/30, it was very watery and one could tell it was an inferior product.

Customer support told me that it is not runny and I am mistaken. Bottom line, I filed report with my credit card company and they took the charge off until the dispute was settled. Well Citi sided with La Creme due to the fine print that is included in the terms. Do not buy this stuff thinking you will have recourse if you don't like it. You are warned!

    LA Creme Anti Wrinkle Creme

    • Arcadia, WI,
    • Jul 9, 2015

I ordered online the 14 day free trial. There were no terms or conditions. They say free trial, whatever. I got the product in one week and then I used the magnifying glass to read the fine print of terms and conditions. I called and left a voicemail and said do not take any money from my account, I am not a member and do not wish to be. Voicemail sent back too late your account has already been charged. I called back and left another message. And threatened BBB and you have not heard the last of me. No call back. Scam.

It's the biggest scam ever! Everybody needs to contact the BBB about this company.
