Lectin Shield

I have only been on Lectin Shield for a week so maybe not the best person to survey. (I've been away.) What I have experienced though is significantly reduced gas. I've always been regular in my toilet habits so no real change there. I am looking forward to seeing what changes I will have as I progress with this product.

Based on radio advertising I decided to give Lectin Shield a try. I took it religiously for 75 days per required dosage. In the first 30 days, I got diarrhea. But I persisted. I noticed no notable difference in my health and my energy level remained the same, but at times I felt I wasn't as active. After 2 and a half months, it was time for a refund. I received my refund, no questions asked. Too bad it didn't work for me.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have been following this diet since January of 2017. I underwent open heart surgery to replace my bicuspid aortic valve, which had become stenotic and calcified.

I began plant paradox with the hope that I could help my cow valve last as long as possible. I have lost 28 lbs and have been able to stop statins and beta blockers.

I am pretty faithful at following the rules. But in a pinch, I use the Lectin Shield. For example, if you are out to dinner and can't be sure what your food ate, take the Lectin Shield. Or if you just can't say no to the pizza, take the Lectin Shield.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this product totally over-delivered. It made me feel more energetic. I already take Vital Reds and love them, but this took my overall well being, sleep, energy, and feeling of general fitness and health to the next level. As far as I can remember, I've had awful stomach upsets. Since I have discovered my lectin sensitivity, (thanks to Dr. Gundry!), avoiding lectins has completely illuminated my stomach issues. However, life in America doesn't make it easy to avoid high lectin foods, so I carry the Lectin Sheild with me and take one if I'm eating out or happen to indulge in something that I know will pay for later. Lectin Shield really does protect against my reactions to the foods I'm sensitive too. It's not a license to eat anything I want, but I am so happy I have it when I need it. It really does work. I have taken Lectin Shield at times when visiting extended family where I cannot prepare my own foods. IT WORKS! I am now working on taking approved foods in a cooler that will be good for me.

My wife has suffered with ME from chronic fatigue for the last 25 years, we now live in Tuscany for half of the year as this does help with her condition.

We started the Plant Paradox diet which also had a real beneficial effect, however, we were initially concerned that my wife, as a vegan, eating a lectin free diet in Tuscany would make life really difficult when visiting friends (no zucchini, aubergines and especially no gnocchi).

The Lectin Blockers are the icing on the cake! Occasionally, she eats "dodgy" food where blockers totally override the negative effects, fantastic!

Just out of interest, having read the book she discovered hemp tofu in Italy (don't think we can get it in the UK) and is now making her own!

Although I am following the diet, I wanted to have insurance that lectins were not affecting my leaky gut in any way. It has taken me so long to finally find something I understand and believe is an answer to my problems. Lectin Shield ensures that I have protected myself when I have a meal that may not be completely free of lectins.

After only three weeks I have a complete blood analysis done by my cardiologist that was so improved he took me off of Atorvastatin. The visit previous he had doubled the dosage. I can imagine what my future tests will be like. I am excited about the direction I am going and believe Lectin Shield is a vital part of the program I am on. I believe I am doing all I can to help myself now.

We have been following the lectin free diet for about 4 weeks and taking dr. gundry supplements for the last 3 days and have great success already with weight loss, improvement of arthritis pains and best of all my husband has cut his diabetes medicine in half and still lowered his glucose levels by about 40 points. The only problem is occasionally we have to travel with work and we have to eat out sometimes and also on the weekend when we go to the lake we have a dinner club where everyone brings something to eat. So in these recent instances we have taken the lectin shield so as not to undo the progress we have made and we have found it really works well.

I am still in the trial stage on one bottle purchased. Seems to be doing its job if I remember to take it before eating. I was wondering if the batch was bad until I read one of the main ingredients is N Acetyl D-Glucosamine from crab and shrimp. So far I have loved all the products I've purchased from GundryMD.com, keep up the good work Dr. Gundry.
