  • Amazing service

    I thought I could not afford renters insurance when a fire in my building made me realize I could lose it all in a flash. It had been the second fire for the same reasons in the year and a half I was living there. When I stumbled through Lemonade and saw it was only $5, I jumped at it. I didn't think I would ever need it. When a fire took away all my possessions they came to my rescue in record-breaking time. If it not had been for this I think I would be homeless right now. Thank you so much.

    Eight second claim approval!

    I have been a Lemonade member for the last six months. Recently, I had a few items stolen from my car. I checked with support if that would be covered. They responded within a couple of hours and confirmed that it will be. I filed a claim from the Lemonade app while following instructions from their bot. I uploaded a video describing the incident and a list of items that I lost. To my surprise, the claim was approved immediately, and I received the claim amount (minus applicable deductible) within five days! I don't think I could have a better experience from signing up for a service and doing a claim.

    Grateful customer! Impressive claims process and customer service.

    I was a little nervous when I first started filling out the claim, because it is all automated, and I needed some guidance from a human.

    I took my time to get used to the forms and the way the app takes you through the process. I also stopped a few times to email customer service for advice, and they responded immediately to answer all my questions. I was relieved to see that the app saves your spot in the claims process if you exit and re-open at a later time. The only update needed is itemized edit buttons at the final ‘review’ page.

    My claim was filed instantly, and I got paid shockingly fast. Seriously, wow! I’m incredibly impressed, and grateful to Lemonade Insurance for being there when I needed them.

    I’m so happy I signed up (they live up to the name)!

    Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Excellent and Fast service

    The claim process was awesome. Everything you can do through the mobile app by chatting with a virtual person. And once all info are provided an actual claims adjuster will take ownership of the claim and start following up to get additional details. I got my claim finalized in less than a month. And the service is really fast and reliable.

    The monthly renter's insurance is also under 10 bucks and when compared to any other insurance, it's at least 5 bucks cheaper.

    Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Helpful, quick, easy!

    I was drawn to Lemonade by their cute, colorful, easy to use app and affordable pricing. After a recent break in I had to file a claim. Having your home broken into and your personal items stolen is obviously not fun, but Lemonade’s response was friendly, efficient, and fast.

    Quick and easy

    Reese, my agent, got back to me very quickly after the initial texting filing of the claim via the Lemonade app, which at first I was not super excited about this tool (not having the ability to just talk to someone), but soon found that the response time was quick enough and I was assigned a live adjuster anyway. Reese was super helpful, understanding, and the payment for reimbursement for displacement after the fire was very quick (within a couple of days for my bank.) I will definitely insure again with Lemonade when I move to the new apartment. Thanks!

  • Great help and great service

    My claim adjust was knowledgeable and helpful. Fast to respond and guided me through all we needed. The claim was done and settled fast, and I couldn’t be happier. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

    I had the most amazing experience using Lemonade. After getting my property stolen, I had to file a claim with them, and it was so easy to use. Not only was it easy to file a claim, but my claim was reviewed in less than ten seconds (literally)! I would totally recommend Lemonade to anyone looking for renters insurance, and in fact, I already have!

    I locked my bike outside my local movie theatre one weekend night and came outside to discover someone had attempted to steal it. While they were unsuccessful, they severely damaged the frame. Unsure of whether repairs or replacement was required, I filed a claim on the Lemonade app (super easy to do - and impressively, they immediately accepted my forwarded email receipts) and was contacted by claims less than 24 hours later. The individual who worked with me, Gus, went above and beyond to help by replying to my emails quickly (with a lot of charm and personality, I might add) and directing me to repair or replace the bike, depending on my bike shop's assessment. Turns out I had to replace the bike, and Gus approved the claim immediately after.

    Everything about my Lemonade experience was 5/5, from signing up, to the in-app experience, to filing the claim and working with Gus. I cannot recommend the company highly enough - as long as you read the fine print of your policy (and fortunately, Lemonade's fine print is quite readable) and understand exactly what events are covered, of course.

  • Seamless, amazing, and immense peace of mind

    I was robbed of my golden necklace while vacationing in Brazil. I was incredibly stressed with the experience and couldn’t have asked for a better insurance product to help defray the impact of my loss. Highly, highly recommended.

    Very disappointed

    I’m very disappointed. The items that I filed were not included in my claim. It’s already bad enough that I was violated, but now I have to experience the insurance company not handling my claim properly. That’s so not right. I wish I would’ve chosen another insurance company.
