Worst customer service for faulty product

My Livia is faulty. It painfully zaps you each time you increase the intensity. Customer service agrees that it is broken. Terms and conditions state that you have to pay for return shipping unless you country has a law otherwise. Mine does. They still want me to pay the return shipping fee. So dodgy. Doesn't even fit the Livia and pads in the carry box.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Didn't receive the product and NO refunds - DO NOT RECOMMEND!

This company is a fraud. I didn't receive the product I paid for, and they have been “processing” my refund for many MONTHS now. Do not waste your money. This is some type of scam.

Money back - totally scam

I sent a long time ago the device back because during big pain it doesnt help and I never ever again saw my money back. All I was getting through email are promises to contact me - nobody did. I was always writing them emails and all I got were just promises. So they are totally lying about their money back policy.

Expensive TENS, bad customer service

If you’re wondering if this is different to a TENS machine, the answer is no - it’s the same, it doesn’t do anything different, and is a waste of money. I have severe Endometriosis so I can’t comment on whether this works for normal period pain, but it was less useful for my pelvic pain and cramps than my cheap TENS. It’s such a weird claim to only have one setting (this setting just feels like a standard TENS one) as you can get one for £30 in the chemist that has loads of different options and settings and 4 pads so you can wear it on your back.

I sent my Livia back for a refund but wasn’t contacted about it and had a very frustrated back and forth with them saying they hadn’t received my parcel - sent Royal Mail tracked with insurance to make sure it would reach them. Eventually, they said they would refund me, but I found their customer service to be poor.

It makes me angry that they are making money recycling an old idea selling to women in pain. Save yourself a lot of money and get a normal TENS from Argos.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Con artists, avoid at all costs!

Vile, disgusting company. Scam artists, won't refund my money after more than three months. Dismissive, horrible customer service that pretends they are dealing with your refund but oh so wrong. I rejected Livia at customs due to the ridiculous customs fees that were not clearly stated. This company should be shut down. Lucky I'm getting a refund for fraud from Amex.

Untrustworthy, deceiving company who don’t make the small print clear enough. Complete lack of compassion or customer service. Customer beware, purchase from this company at your own risk! They could end up taking your money and you getting nothing in return.

Stay far away from this company!

I bought the Livia device on the 4th of January for $199. The company advertised a 30-day money back guarantee. I decided after a couple of days when the order was taking too long to ship that I wanted to cancel the order.

I first contacted Livia on the 8th of January 2019 to inform the company I wanted to cancel the order. The order was still in the processing stage and I had a 30-day money back guarantee so I assumed the order could be canceled.

I received a reply asking me to reconsider and was offered a free "skin" as compensation for the delay in shipping time. This tells me that there was plenty of time to amend the order. I replied that I did not want the free skin and that I wanted my order canceled.

I was told that my order "would be canceled and you will be refunded in 30 days."

I then received another email on the same day asking me to reconsider again and was told I could "split the order" to get it to ship faster. Which once again proves the company had time to cancel the order. I refused once more and was told that "you will be refunded within 30 business days starting from the date of order cancelation." Which means I should have received the refund by the 20th of February.

On the 10th of January, I received a shipping notification. I immediately contacted Livia and informed them of the issue and was told that the order had indeed been shipped out. I was then provided a tracking number and told to refuse the parcel on delivery. I was told it should take 10-14 days delivery time.

I refused the parcels delivery on the 1st of February 2019 at the post office.

It has now been 28 days since I returned the parcel and the company is still claiming they do not have the parcel and therefore will not refund my money until the package arrives.

I have read similar bad reviews on Amazon and stupidly ignored them. This company will make your life hell trying to get money back and may well claim they don't receive a parcel in order to not have to pay you the money.

I am so upset, stressed and frustrated that a company believes they can treat their customers like this. Please trust me and spend your money on a different (cheaper) tens devise elsewhere unless you are sure you will not want to take part of the 30-day money back. Please read other reviews like mine and think carefully before purchasing so you don't end up scammed out of $200 like me.

Good product, terrible customer service

The product was great, but it didn’t work for me personally. As advertised, I’m supposed to get refunded if I don't like the product. It’s been several weeks of back and forth phone calls and emails with customer support, trying to get my refund and I still don’t have it! The product is great, but if it doesn’t work for you, I can’t say if you will get refunded.

Horrible company!

I purchased Livia and I tried it "risk-free" as the site advertises, except when it didn't work for me and I wanted to return it, the process was awful and I never got my money back.

I opted to return the product, I paid for mailing it back with tracking. The received it and said I would have my money back in 30 business days, it has been well over two months. Every time I call or email they say "we put urgent on your case for the financial department". There is no financial department you can't reach or call anyone there. The 718 number on Livia's website contacts a call center in the Ukraine.

That being said, if you want to try it, do so knowing that you won't get your money back from Livia. You are better off purchasing it from a vendor or Amazon.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

No money back

I purchased Livia but it did not work for me. I returned it, paid packaging expenses, and never got my money back. I sent several emails to their customer service that kept saying they would sort out the issue but never did.

Don't buy Livia!

This company is dishonest

On 9/17/18 I ordered the Livia product but my daughter didn't like it so I returned the product on 11/3/18 following their return policy to the letter. Below is the conversation I had with them via Facebook Chat:

ME: I don't remember receiving notification that you received the parcel. Can I expect a refund soon?

LIVIA: Dear Corinne, Thanks for reaching out! According to our system, we haven't received your parcel yet. However, we'll let you know as soon as we have any update. We appreciate your patience.

ME: According to USPS the package was delivered 11/5/2018 11:57am

ME: This has gone on too long. I should have received my refund by now. I'm very disappointed that Livia is dragging it's tail. How much longer do I have to wait?

LIVIA: Dear Corinne, thanks for getting back to us! My sincere apologies for the inconveniences. Please note that I've forwarded your request to the Financial Department again and reminded them about the necessity to process a refund for you. Once I have an update from them, I'll contact you. We appreciate your patience.

On 3/16/19 I called Livia's Customer support. I was told that they would research and process my refund ASAP. I never heard from them again. It is now May 20th, 2019. I still have not received my refund. I STRONGLY SUGGEST that no one purchase their product unless you can afford to lose $149. Believe me, you will never see that money again.
