Luminess Air

First off, I bought mine on QVC or HSN (I forgot which one). But it was only $99 for the complete set in rose gold (new model bought 10/17) with two foundation makeup, blush, and highlighter.

Once I got it, I went online to the Luminous site and the shopping site to watch and listen carefully to the videos. It's not a hard system to use, but you have to view the videos if you've never used one; it's very helpful and makes learning it a breeze.

All in all, it is well worth it. It takes me seconds to put on my air makeup. I do choose to use a face primer first, FYI. I also use the Luminous blush as well. A few practices and for me getting the right color, which I did by mixing the makeups I got in fair, was fantastic. I'm 52 and if I can be a pro with this system anyone can. I am not into makeup and fuss that goes with it. That is why I got it; easy and the makeup is light on my skin the way I like it. My skin looks great.

Again, give yourself a couple of minutes to watch the videos and tips, find your foundation mix that is good for you, and practice 2-3 times.

I received my beginner trial kit today. Try silk was what the commercial said. I had no trouble ordering online and getting the kit for the advertised price. I received the kit in approximately a hair less than three weeks.

I tried the application. It will take a bit of time learning, but, I did ok with the foundation and blush. I have on the mascara that came in the kit. I'll know more about this aspect in a few hours, but for now, it's lovely and very nice. I will apply and then use my perfume because this product doesn't smell especially great to me.

It is easy to use and gives my face a beautiful finish, best ever, and I've tried a lot. I am 63 and have few wrinkles and some areas of discoloration, and after applying Luminess, it looks smooth and wonderful, and much more youthful. Colors are great, and mix and match skin color easy. I love the blush. I am looking forward to trying the lip tent. The only thing that I found a little misleading is the amount of makeup drops. If your skin needs some cover up dark circles and such, expect to double the amount of drops or more. I'm definitely happy I bought it. Give it a try!

I will not say I have perfected the use of Luminess Air because I have not had enough personal time to learn it, but I did find the DVD to be very helpful, and I also have found helpful hints online. The unit was shipped within five business days from the date of my order.

I called Customer Service/Support and spoke with Camita, who I kept calling Camille, that she was very helpful, courteous and took care of how I wanted to handle the balance. I also explained to her that since I was 66 years of age that I did not want to be on the automatic mailing program and she assured me that my account would reflect my choice and that I could just place my order online and it would be shipped promptly.

Bottom line is that I had absolutely no problems with my order or my preferences. I hope others will post their positive reviews as quickly as they do negative ones.

I do not usually write reviews but feel this is an exception. I ordered the Luminess product due to health issues affecting my ability to use my hands and fingers to take so much time applying different makeup and details daily.

Pleasingly to my surprise, the air system not only provides ease and quickness of makeup applications, it also looks and feels amazing! I get a lot of compliments and questions regarding what have I done to look younger.

I recommend this product. I am even going to purchase one for each of my daughters.

I purchased this product on their 60% off promotion. I purchased the deluxe system and was charged an initial $39.99. It took me a little bit of time to master the art of airbrushing but now that I am getting the hang of it, I like it. I like that it's buildable and doesn't make me look like I have a lot of makeup on. It also lasts all day. I am really starting to enjoy it. I called customer service because I wanted to cancel the auto-delivery of products since I did not want to be billed $39.99 a month. They explained to me that I can choose when to have it shipped so I decided to keep the auto-delivery but do it every 4 months and they also said they would take the price of the auto-delivery down to $19.95. So I figured for $19.95 every 4 months, that wasn't such a bad deal for makeup refills. They also then decided to lower my monthly charge for the entire system and spread out the payments. They wanted to charge me $49.99 (because I have the deluxe system) for 3 months, but because I voiced concern about the cost, they agreed to charge me $25/month for 6 months. Comes out to the same $150 for the system but allows me to pay for it over a longer time period which I liked better. For as expensive as makeup is, I feel the $150 for the system and $20 every 4 months for the makeup itself isn't so bad and it's a good system that I am really enjoying.

I purchased the whole kit a few years back, even though my skin tone is light, the light makeup did not cover as expected, it also does not help fine lines or wrinkles, and I instead needed one up (medium). Also, after a few months, I started having problems with the sprayer not working, locking up or overspray, and I did keep it very clean as recommended. But I could not get it replaced or would they help me in exchange, or even send me new parts. But because it does make your skin silkier, I decided to purchase a second one, after a few months once again I started having problems with spray head, as I started looking around for a replacement parts, I found that not only does everyone else offer the same kits for 20%-50% cheaper, their machines work and last much longer, the makeup seems a darker shade, not to mention a better warranty and replacement parts. Amazon offers the whole kit for $99 and will exchange any parts for the first year. I was able to replace the whole spray head for only $28.00.

I ordered before looking at the reviews and regretted it. I ordered it for $19.99 not realizing it would be another 8 dollars in shipping plus 5 payments, making it a total of just under 330.00. If you buy an air brush from Walmart and just buy the makeup, you are much better off. They say less is more but it took way more than eight drops to cover my face. I have some slight discoloration but even three cups of 8 drops wasn't enough. Another thing, even after the makeup dried it didn't feel good. It felt tacky. I don't know if that's because I didn't use to sealer which was not included. Do your research. The Dinair is cheaper at 199.00 and they have a lot more products like eye shadow, eyeliner and hair color. They also have stencils. There are other air brushes for 99 dollars with other brands. Check Youtube for tutorials from other brands and even how to use airbrush other than the cosmetic brands.

I've learned the hard way how to be a victim of consumer marketing and to make sure I read the fine print. I am being charged $70.00 per month for six months just for having the unit, then add $38.00 for a delivery of makeup that I also just discovered you will get charged twice for when you get one delivery. Rip-off!

Now they are offering a four-month installment of $49.00 times four months, I've learned my lesson, and this can also be marked down as one of the first times I've written a negative review on something. The concept is good, yet there should be no need to charge so much and not make it a little clearer what you will ultimately end up paying. Thank you.

Luminess is a great product, but you can get the exact same product on Amazon, just different brand name for about $50 and better customer service!

I ordered Luminess airbrush kit on December 9th. They stuck a label with a tracking number on 12/15, and on 12/20 the product still has not shipped, and customer service could not tell me why nor when the product would be shipped and just tried to blow me off. This was to be a Christmas present that now will not make it in on time. Very disappointed.

So I have been using Luminess Air for about seven months now. Their product is simple to use and works fairly well with my skin. I am (was) on the auto-ship and today I received my order, and one bottle was busted. I called customer service to let them know they said they will replace the bottle for a processing fee. Now I have already paid for the product and didn't feel I needed to pay a processing fee for something that came to me busted.

So I explained that and he keeps trying to ask me if I have tried all this other stuff and to smooth things over. I told him I didn't want something free, I just didn't think I should have to pay a processing fee. He persisted and got me to the point that I got aggravated. So I just told him to remove me from any more shipments and I didn't want the product anymore.
