About Magna Force Plus
Claiming to be an “extreme muscle builder,” Magna Force Plus is a nutritional supplement that promises to help increase lean muscle mass, improve energy and endurance, and reduce recovery times.
To do this, we’re told that Magna Force Plus works on three different fronts: increasing blood flow, boosting testosterone, and accelerating your metabolism. This way, the company claims you’ll be able to get more out of your workouts, burn more body fat, and improve muscle definition. You’ll even be able to stimulate your libido and boost your sexual performance!
According to the manufacturer, all you have to do is take 2-4 capsules of Magna Force Plus during breakfast and another 2-4 capsules during lunch, along with plenty of water. We’re told this will immediately increase your body’s natural production of nitric oxide (NO), leading to “incredible changes” in your physique and performance.
Whether you’re young or old, fit or flabby, it’s difficult to resist Magna Force Plus’ extreme claims. Can you expect its ingredients to deliver on these lofty promises, though? And even if they do work, will they provide enough of a boost to deliver a solid value? These are just a couple of the important questions we’ll answer in this review.
First, let’s start with some basic science.
What Is Nitric Oxide? Does It Have Anything To Do with Testosterone?
Nitric oxide (NO) is a colorless gas that was discovered relatively recently in 1977. In fact, the scientists who discovered it ended up winning the 1998 Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine, so it was a fairly momentous event.
In a nutshell, nitric oxide has the ability to widen blood vessels (a process known as vasodilation) and improve blood flow, thereby helping to reduce inflammation and blood pressure, and even to relieve symptoms of erectile dysfunction. In fact, the most widely prescribe ED pill works specifically by boosting NO levels in the bloodstream.
NO has also been shown to play an important role in transmitting information between nerve cells in the brain, helping the immune system fight against bacteria, improving sleep quality, and more.
On the other hand, testosterone is an essential hormone present in high levels in men, which plays a role in sperm production, muscle mass, fat storage, mood, red blood cell production, and more. As you’ll learn by interacting with just about any teenage male, testosterone peaks during puberty, but then begins to drop around the age of 30.
Once testosterone levels drop enough—often after the age of 40, men might begin experiencing unwanted side effects like weight gain (especially around the midsection), decreased muscle mass, mood swings, reduced sex drive, and even difficulty getting the “sergeant to salute.”
While both NO and testosterone seem beneficial, will any of Magna Force Plus’ ingredients boost either of these substances in your body?
How Effective Are Magna Force Plus’ Ingredients?
Although there’s no label shown on the Magna Force Plus website, here’s what we’re told it contains:
We’ll cut right to the chase: There is very little clinical evidence showing these ingredients (with the exception of B6) can provide any meaningful benefits in humans—and there’s essentially zero evidence showing they can deliver the incredible results promised by Magna Force Plus’ manufacturer.
In fact, all of these ingredients (again, except for vitamin B6) are fairly new to the medical community, so their long-term safety and dosing are largely unknown.
Speaking of which, many of these ingredients’ potential side effects are also largely unknown, although the most common side effect associated with vitamin B6 is digestive upset. In rare instances, users may also experience decreased appetite, headache, sleepiness, and more.
Although they probably won’t deliver on their promises (at least based on existing clinical evidence), will Magna Force Plus’ ingredients cost you an arm and a leg?
How Much Does Magna Force Plus Cost?
Red flag alert: The only way to purchase Magna Force Plus is through a 14-day trial for $7.95 S&H. For this price, you’ll receive a full-size bottle of the supplement.
Sounds like a solid deal, so why is it a red flag? Because 14 days after you placed your order (not after you’ve received it), you’ll be charged the ultra high price of $89.95! To add insult to injury, you’ll continue receiving a new bottle of Magna Force Plus once per month and charged $89.95 plus $8.95 S&H each time.
In order to cancel your trial or stop your recurring shipments, you’ll need to call customer service at 800-954-1229. Magna Force Plus also comes with a 30-day refund policy, less S&H, as well as a 25% restocking fee for opened bottles.
What Kinds of Reviews Are Magna Force Plus’ Customers Leaving?
In most cases, the HighYa team reviews supplements as soon as they hit the market, so there often isn’t enough time for them to accumulate customer reviews. It wasn’t any different for Magna Force Plus at the time of our research.
However, we’re reviewed dozens of testosterone and muscle growth supplements in the past that make many of the same claims—and feature many of the same ingredients—as Magna Force Plus, including popular options like Elite Test 360, Bio Testosterone XR, Lifeforce T-2000, and more.
Browsing through these (and other) reviews, you’ll find that they generally come with 2-star or lower average ratings, based mainly upon complaints of failure to work, high price, and poor customer service. Regarding this last point, many claim service personnel were rude and made the process as difficult as possible; some apparently didn’t hesitate to hang up on customers multiple times.
Now, it’s important to mention that Magna Force Plus is a different product from a different company, so you might not experience the same. But given their nearly identical business models, we’d certainly recommend keeping it in mind.
Speaking of the company, Magna Force Plus is manufactured by Sobe Nutrition (not the well-known beverage company) based out of Boca Raton, FL. They weren’t listed with the Better Business Bureau at the time of our research, and no information was available elsewhere online.
Bottom Line: Is Magna Force Plus a Supplement to Be Reckoned With?
Sometimes we feel like a broken record when reviewing many nutritional supplements, but the fact of the matter is that they’re generally formulated with an unknown amount of quasi-effective ingredients, priced through the roof, and manufactured by essentially anonymous companies. And based on what we learned during our research, Magna Force Plus seems to be no different.
Instead, if you’re looking to get a better handle on the situation, we’d strongly recommend reading Do Testosterone Boosters Really Work? Then, if you’re experiencing symptoms consistent with low testosterone, speaking with your doctor about more tried-and-true solution than Magna Force Plus.
