About Maxx NO
Maxx NO is claimed to be a scientifically advanced muscle-building supplement that uses safe and effective ingredients to provide your body with a nitric oxide boost and to help you improve endurance, increase strength, and maximize muscle gain. Because of this, Maxx NO’s manufacturer claims it’s a breakthrough in muscle building technology that gives you tested, proven results, and is a simple way to sculpt your body in order to “emerge as a more athletic, built, and attractive you.”
How Does Maxx NO Claim to Work?
In order to accomplish this, Maxx NO’s natural ingredients, which are thoroughly screened for purity and safety, are claimed to work as muscle activators and vasodilators. While there’s no clarification on the supplement’s website as to what they mean by a “muscle activator,” a vasodilator is simply something that widens blood vessels, so that more blood and oxygen can pass.
These ingredients include:
- Vitamins B3, B6, and B12
- Green Tea Extract
According to the Maxx NO website, the supplement’s ingredients are part of a sustained release formula that maximizes nutrient absorption and helps your body naturally pack on lean muscle, elevate levels of growth hormone, regulate glucose metabolism, and more.
In order to experience these benefits, the manufacturer claims that you should take 1-2 capsules of Maxx NO at breakfast and another 1-2 at lunch, along with plenty of water, and you should feel a difference in intensity within 15 minutes.
Women dig a man with rock hard muscles, as well as a rock hard libido, right? Perhaps, but can you realistically expect Maxx NO to help you build muscle fast, break your lifting records, and send your sex drive through the roof? Probably not, and here’s why:
Do Maxx NO’s Ingredients Work?
As it turns out, the answer to this questions depends on what you define as “work.” This is because, according to WebMD, neither glutamine, vitamins B3, B6, B12, chromium, or green tea extract have sufficient clinical evidence showing that they’re effective for building muscle quickly, improving athletic performance, boosting libido, or many of the other claims made by Maxx NO’s manufacturer.
With this said, arginine and yohimbine have been shown to be somewhat effective for treating erectile dysfunction, as long as you don’t take more than 5 grams of arginine per day, and only for a short period of time. In addition, l-carnitine may provide some individuals with circulatory benefits, although you should stay under 1,500mg per day, and may experience common side effects such as nausea and digestive upset.
Taking a Closer Look at Maxx NO’s Claims
Perhaps because of the lack of clinical evidence showing their ingredients work as advertised, Maxx NO appears to engage in less-than-stellar advertising tactics. This includes claiming to have been seen on Men’s Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, and Men’s Health, although there is no third-party confirmation of this online.
In addition, Maxx NO claims to provide proven results and to have been recommended by many elite athletes and personal trainers, although they don’t provide any evidence or personal testimonials to back these claims up.
How Maxx NO Convinces You to Buy
With this said, Maxx NO uses some psychological principles to convince you to purchase their product, which is something we covered in-depth in our How Weight Loss Ads Convince You to Buy article.
In the instance of Maxx NO, your eye is immediately drawn to the image of the ripped dude lifting weights in the left-hand corner, which makes you immediately want to look that way. However, you then find out that “Due to popular TV demand our stores are struggling to keep supply in stock. As of X Date we do have a limited supply IN STOCK and ready to ship within 24 hours,” which creates a sense of urgency.
Finally, Maxx NO’s manufacturer relieves this urgency by showing you how to get your trial by simply paying a small S&H fee (more about this in a moment).
Maxx NO Pricing & Trial Cancellation Policy
Maxx NO is only available via a 14-day trial for $4.95, and you’ll receive a 30-day supply of the supplement after signing up.
After the 14 days (which begin the date your order is placed) have passed, you’ll be billed $84.57 for the 30-day supply, and will also be enrolled in the company’s autoship program. This means you’ll continue receiving a one-month supply of Maxx NO once every 30 days, and your credit card will be billed $84.57 each time.
Important note: According to the supplement’s website, it will take about 5 days for Maxx NO to arrive, which means you might have less than 10 days to try it out and send it back before your trial ends. Also, keep in mind that many nutritional supplements manufacturers require that you send the bottle back and that this has to be received before the 14 days are up, in order to successfully cancel your trial.
However, the Terms and Conditions link was broken on the Maxx NO website at the time of our research, so we were unable to confirm if this is the case.
With this said, as we mentioned in our What Is an Autoship Program article, it’s our opinion that products offered through free trials and subsequent autoship programs are best avoided altogether.
Regardless, if you’d like to cancel your trial, you’ll need to contact customer service at (800) 835-4179.
Can Maxx NO Help Make You Sexy?
Considering the lack of clinical evidence showing Maxx NO’s ingredients work as advertised, the manufacturer’s less-than-stellar marketing techniques, and the fact that the supplement is only available through a 14-day trial, it’s our opinion that any benefits provided by Maxx NO would be far outweighed by its very high price.
I have been using this supplement for two weeks and have been happy with results. It was only until I got the bill that I decided it might not be the most responsible purchase and upon attempting to cancel any further charges, I ran into several dead ends until finding this website. It might be worth it if you have the money to spend but it could be a placebo.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I ordered this product 2 weeks ago and I never received it. Maxx N.O. is a scam. People like this will never prosper.
