Very happy using Meaningful Beauty products

By Mona Demo, Fair Lawn, New Jersey, Verified Reviewer

I've been using Meaningful Beauty products for 4-5 years. I'm now 66 years old, and most people are surprised when I openly reveal my age and equally surprised at how old I am. It's not all because of my skin care regiment, however, I certainly believe it has been a big help. My dark circles under my eyes have mostly disappeared, my skin looks healthy and I'm still okay with seeing myself in the mirror without makeup.

Every time Meaningful Beauty comes out with a new product I've been very happy to try it and generally very satisfied.

I do eat well, my diet consists mostly of protein, veggies, salad, fruit and ice cream. Exercise has been a consistent part of my life, which also helps my skin stay tight.

Bad customer service

By Ronda Kend, Seattle, WA, Verified Reviewer

I love the products, but customer service is horrible! I have been a member since 2009, and I recently have been told that I don’t have an account! I’m guessing that is because they want to raise the prices because I was on a plan. They told me that my account was canceled because I didn’t get two shipments a year. That has never been the case, and if they changed the conditions, they did not notify me! I’m not going to set up another account with them and they have lost a good customer!

Also, the reps were not speaking very good English. So why support a company that doesn’t stay in our country? I’m very disappointed, and I hope that Cindy Crawford and whoever else is evolved does something to change this policy.

Rant over, on to new and better products!

Some good, some bad

By Cindy W. , Indiana

Bought the MB kit and liked most products. Neck and night cream both made me swell, itch, and turn red. Not sure why but other products agree with me totally.

Pushy sales

By Ann Alex, Illinois, Verified Reviewer

I ordered the $39.95 + shipping Easter weekend TV special. The lady went on and on and would not stop talking. She was a high-pressure sales Asian lady. This alone was a turn-off and made me feel the product should speak for itself. Nope, she explained it's set up on an auto-renewal if you don't call to cancel within the first 5 days or when you receive your order, which is exactly what I plan to do. That number is 800-927-0047. If the product is as good as advertised, I will re-order on my own timeframe from Amazon. As of yet, I will not recommend.

Is it the melon? OR is it due to the 4 surgical face lifts that Cindy Crawford has had fine?

By Dpnna C., Arizona, Verified Reviewer

So if I'm not satisfied can I have at least 1 surgical facelift? After all, is it really the melon or is it the 4 surgical facelifts that Cindy Crawford has had prior to promoting a Special European Melon.

Vitamin C

By Lena B., Phoenix, AZ, Verified Reviewer

I started using Meaningful Beauty and after about 6 months my skin began to slightly darken. My family thought maybe I wasn't getting enough rest, skin looks worn out and tired suddenly. So I compared my old regimen to Meaningful Beauty and realized there's no Vitamin C in the facial wash and toner. Meaningful Beauty should cater more to African American anti-aging needs by adding Vitamin C to the facial wash and toner. Disappointed.

Not what I had hoped for

By Vicki P., Waunakee, WI, Verified Reviewer

The youth serum was very sticky and didn't seem to absorb into my skin. The night cream also sat on top of my skin. When I took a shower in the morning, I could feel the cream just slide right off my face. Everything said "keep away from eyes," even the eye lifting cream! What is up with that? The ONLY thing I did like was the exfoliator. You leave it on for 5 minutes and it basically becomes a masque after exfoliating.

When I called to cancel, they tried REALLY hard to get me to keep getting it for 60-90 days to get all the true benefits. I said NO, I need a cancellation number now, please.

Good grief

By Carrie A., Florida, Verified Reviewer

Tried to cancel a few weeks ago and was sent some capsules for free that would take at least 2 weeks to see results. Big waste of packaging for so little product and only received a week's worth to try. Just tried to cancel again and it seriously took 15 minutes of a never-ending loop of we'll send you this other product. Finally just had to get short with them. Made sure I took a screenshot saying nothing was owed. Too many steps for little results and rather expensive, but the customer service is just awful.

None of the phone numbers for customer service work

By Juanita G., Puerto Rico, Verified Reviewer

I have been trying to reach customer service for a while now to change my order and cannot get thru to them by phone.

So then I tried to write them an email to no avail. They keep saying that they are going to send an email to reset my password but I have not received them yet.

Made wrinkles more profound

By Debra Rowe, Willard, Ohio, Verified Reviewer

I tried the supposedly awesome product endorsed by the beautiful Cyndi Crawford and used it as instructed and within a week noticed the wrinkles got deeper and my inner self lost out here because I kept thinking it would get better. NOT! I called customer service which was helpful and said they never heard of this complaint before and sent a few free products to me which did not fix the damage. I called back said to cancel the order and the account and low and behold what arrives, yep more products that damaged my face previously. So called them back and actually had it canceled. Beware of using this, please don't end up like me.

A scam

By Suzanne, Virginia, Verified Reviewer

I associated the meaningful beauty products with the good name of Cindy Crawford. What a MISTAKE!

The products I have received are watery, and they appear to be broken down. The eye cream caused swelling and puffiness where it was applied. The purple text on the clear bottles makes the text impossible to read. Now I wonder if that's what they intended.

After repeated phone calls to cancel my subscription, I still have not received a cancellation confirmation. The customer service people I dealt with spoke very poor English and refused to put a supervisor on the phone. I can't believe that, at my age, I am caught up in such a colossal waste of time and money. Shame on Cindy Crawford!
