Motivated Labs Lean GC Reviews - Is it a Scam or Legit?
Lean-GC is a dietary supplement designed to help you burn fat, keep your appetite in check, and ultimately, achieve your weight-loss goals.
Calling it a “revolutionary breakthrough,” the makers of Lean-GC, Motivated Labs, claim that it can help put your body into a state of ketosis. We’ll dive deeper into this topic in a moment, but essentially, ketosis is achieved when the body begins to burn fats for the energy it requires instead of burning carbohydrates.
The company mentions that the supplement is ideal for both men and women, and that it also helps to support abdominal fat burn, as well as better digestion and sleep. If you are working hard to meet your weight loss goals, this all might sound like a perfect fit for your lifestyle. That said, how does the product actually work in practice? Let’s briefly take a look.
How Does Lean-GC Work?
As mentioned above, Motivated Labs claims that Lean-GC can put your body into a state of ketosis. The supplement is said to include BHB, or Beta-hydroxybutyrate, which Motivated Labs mentions “kicks the metabolic state of ketosis into action.” The purported result? Increased energy and a boost to the body’s natural fat burning processes.
Along with these claims that their supplement can get you into ketosis is their assertion that getting your body into a natural state of Ketosis has been believed to be difficult, but is there any merit to this claim?
According to WebMD, for healthy individuals not currently pregnant and who don’t have diabetes, ketosis tends to kick in naturally after just 3-4 days of consuming less than 50 grams of carbs per day. We’ll talk more about the ketogenic diet in a few minutes.
As of this writing, there was no complete list of ingredients to be found on the Motivated Labs Lean-GC website, so we reached out to customer service to clarify.
The agent pointed us to another company website where we were able to find an ingredients section for the product. According to this page, the following ingredients are found within Lean-GC:
- Garcinia Cambogia Extract
- Magnesium stearate
Despite being mentioned by name on the company’s website as a crucial element inside Lean-GC, beta-hydroxybutyrate was not found in the list of ingredients.
So, knowing this, do any of these other ingredients show clinical promise for helping support abdominal fat burn, improving digestion and sleep, or putting your body into a state of ketosis?
Based on information from WebMD, garcinia cambogia is a popular weight loss supplement. That said, they clarify that there is insufficient evidence linking it to effective fat loss.
A review published in the Journal of Obesity found that it may have helped people who took the supplement lose about 2 more pounds than those who didn’t, but even this small amount couldn’t be proven to be because of the Garcinia.
Aside from this ingredient, none of the others showed sufficient clinical evidence when it comes to delivering on the makers of Lean-GC’s primary claims, according to sources such as WebMD, Healthline, and the Mayo Clinic.
Thankfully, no major side effects were reported for any of the ingredients above as well. Though it was mentioned by name on the company’s website as a crucial element inside Lean-GC, Beta-hydroxybutyrate was not found in the list of ingredients.

Ketosis: Is The Ketogenic Diet Really Ideal For Weight Loss?
The ketogenic diet has been in the news as of late, and this rise in popularity has led to many companies creating keto supplements.
Consumers are asking a reasonable question: Is it truly a viable, healthy diet for weight loss? For the moment, the answer seems unclear.
Despite its unquestionable popularity, there doesn’t appear to be conclusive evidence that eating this type of diet is really an effective way to improve your weight loss efforts. For one, adopting (and sticking to) an extremely high-fat diet can pose a considerable challenge to many. And even if you are able to stick with it, the long-term effects of the diet are unknown.
According to the Harvard School of Public Health, the ketogenic diet has been shown to potentially cause “beneficial metabolic changes,” at least in the short-term. Aside from weight loss, other improvements noted were related to insulin resistance, high blood pressure, and elevated cholesterol and triglycerides.
This aside, a large number of the studies carried out thus far around the ketogenic diet have had a small number of participants, and have only been run in the short-term. The article linked above concludes the following:
“A ketogenic diet has been shown to provide short-term benefits in some people including weight loss and improvements in total cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure. However, these effects after one year when compared with the effects of conventional weight loss diets are not significantly different.”
Wrapping Up: Is Motivated Labs Lean-GC Right For You?
So, what have learned? Putting things into perspective, after reviewing the available scientific data centering around the ketogenic diet, we discovered that it isn’t clinically proven to be an effective weight loss strategy over the long-term.
We also found that individuals looking to try the keto diet for themselves can, in fact, achieve a natural state of ketosis in as little as 3 days by eating less than 50 grams of carbohydrates per day.
Furthermore, based on information obtained from WebMD, the Mayo Clinic, and Healthline, we determined that none of the primary ingredients found within Lean-GC’s formula showed sufficient clinical evidence that they could support improved abdominal fat burn, digestion, or sleep.
Put into context with the recurring autoship program you’ll need to pay for if you allow your trial to run its course, we’d recommend first speaking with your doctor before making any purchasing decisions.
You can discuss concrete steps to take in order to meet your weight loss goals, and this advice is likely to be tailored to your specific needs & medical situation as well. If you’d like to go ahead and give Lean-GC a shot, keep in mind that you can cancel the trial before the 14th day to avoid the full purchasing charge, and subsequent monthly fees.

Did not work for me
I am very disappointed with this product. I tried both the cleanse and the Lean GC. Neither worked. I gained weight instead of losing. This is just another scam for those who don't want to keep a real job to take from those that do. My free trial cost me $400.00. BUYER BEWARE!

Does not work
I went through the trial period. Nothing worked. Even tried exercise with it. Not one pound was gone.
Then I look on my bank statement and there are nearly $200 gone!
This is my written letter that nothing needs to come out of my bank account next month. I have put the bank on alert not to accept your payments anymore.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
