Multi-Wrench is a contractor-grade, 50-in-1 tool that removes stripped nuts or bolts in seconds, without having to constantly search through your toolbox.
Multi-Wrench works by using spring loaded jaws to keep it firmly gripped around any size nut or bolt, including pipe fittings, and its teeth are engineered to give it a “pit bull-like grip.” This means you’ll be able to remove big bolts, small bolts, brass bolts, rusted bolts, and more, without causing any damage.
This also means you’ll be able to save time, hassle, and money!
Look, there’s no doubt that constantly searching for the right tool can be annoying (not to mention time consuming). But can you really expect Multi-Wrench to work as well as the manufacturer claims? Is it a quality tool?
Before diving into the details, let’s take a look at Multi-Wrench’s price.
How Much Does Multi-Wrench Cost?
One Multi-Wrench tool will set you back $19.95 plus $7.95 S&H.
All Multi-Wrenches come with a 60-day refund policy, less S&H, as well as a lifetime warranty. In order to request a refund or process a warranty claim, you’ll need to call customer service at (866) 438-8842.
How does this price compare to the competition?
Are There Other Products Like Multi-Wrench?
In short, yes. And most are priced in the same ballpark as Multi-Wrench.
To see for yourself, type the phrase “spring loaded wrench” into your favorite search engine, and you’ll see just how many options you have. Granted, many of these don’t feature the exact same design as Multi-Wrench, but they work using the same basic principle.
But there are at least a couple other multi-tools out there that are essentially the exact same thing (including overall design) as Multi-Wrench. In fact, it appears that Multi-Wrench is simply a rebranded version of Master Wrench, which itself might be a rebranded version of Nebo Grip All.
In our experience, ASOTV manufacturers rebrand existing products if the previous version didn’t sell well. They’ll usually pull the website down for a period of time (probably waiting for the previous product name to “cool off” a bit), rebrand, and then re-launch.
Interestingly though, the Master Wrench website was still live at the time of our research.
Nonetheless, how does Multi-Wrench stack up against the competition?
Online Customer Feedback for Multi-Wrench
It appeared Multi-Wrench was recently released when we wrote our review, so there weren’t any online customer reviews available. And despite the length of time Master Wrench had been on the market, there weren’t any reviews for it, either.
Based on what we covered in the previous section, perhaps it didn’t sell well, leading to the rebranding.
The good news is that the Nebo Grip All had five customer reviews on Amazon, with an average rating of 3.5 stars. While some customers claimed that it gripped well and that they appreciated its versatility, more than one claimed that it was bulky/heavy. One even claimed that the teeth stripped quickly.
Will you experience the same with Multi-Wrench? Despite the fact that it’s all but identical to Multi-Wrench, there’s no way to know if it comes from the same company, or the overall quality behind its manufacturing process.
Speaking of which, what do we know about the company behind Multi-Wrench?
Who Makes Multi-Wrench? Are They Reputable?
Multi-Wrench is manufactured by ASOTV giant Allstar Products Group, one of the biggest companies in the industry. As such, Allstar makes many other popular products, including Secret Extensions, My Cleaning Secret, Wobble Wag Giggle, and more.
Here on HighYa, these products had an average rating of less than 2 stars, with common complaints citing failure to work as advertised, poor quality, and difficult customer service experiences (problems processing refunds, numerous upsells during calls, etc.).
Granted, these are common complaints for many As Seen on TV products, but should you realistically expect the same with Multi-Wrench? Without any online customer reviews, it’s impossible to say, although we’d certainly recommend keeping it in mind before placing your order.
Will Multi-Wrench Help You Save Time, Hassle, & Money?
Assuming that Multi-Wrench works exactly as the manufacturer claims, there’s no doubt that it could make your “wrench time” faster and more streamlined. But that’s just it: Without any online customer reviews, there’s no way to know how well it works.
However, the nearly identical Nebo Grip All had a mixed online reputation at the time of our research. On top of this, many of the manufacturer’s other products seem to come with fairly low online customer reviews.
So at the very least, in order to avoid a potentially disappointing purchase, we’d recommend visiting your local hardware store or home improvement retailer and exploring their options. You could even ask a representative if they’ve ever used tools like the Multi-Wrench, which can help you gain some first-person feedback.
Did you end up rolling the dice on Multi-Wrench? If so, how well did it work? Do you feel it was worth the money? Are there better alternatives?
