About Omnitrition

Omnitrition International is an nutritional supplements manufacturer who claims to provide healthy products that can help individuals lose weight and improve their health. In addition, the company also offers fee-based distributorships for those looking to start a home-based business.

Omnitrition International, Inc. is based out of Reno, NV, and has been in operation since 1989. The company holds an F rating with the Better Business Bureau, though there are only three closed complaints over the last three years. Because half of Omnitrition International’s business model operates under a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) agreement with their distributors, we found that most online reviews about the company and their products were often intended to sign people up, versus to genuinely inform their readers.

How Omnitrition International Works

Keep in mind that there are two different sides to Omnitrition International: the products they manufacture, and the business opportunity they offer. With this said, let’s take a look at each of these in more detail.

Omnitrition Products

Omnitrition International claims that their nutritional supplements help people “take control of their nutritional needs,” and to “make the best nutritional decisions for their health, mind and body.” Product categories include complete liquid nutrition, energy & vitality, specialty products, and weight management. The company claims that they use only the highest quality ingredients, and that their supplements have the ability to meet many different peoples’ needs.

Omnitrition Sales

Omnitrition International also gives you the opportunity to start an inexpensive home-based business selling their products, which will ship directly to your clients after they place their orders. Their business model is based on a Multi-Level Marketing structure, which means that you not only have the opportunity to make money from the products you sell directly, but also from products sold by distributors that you’ve recruited.

Outside of this, in order to find out more about the company’s products or their business opportunity, you’ll have to do one of three things:

  • Contact the company directly at (775) 335-4777 or info@omnitrition.com,
  • Contact someone in your area who is already a distributor, or
  • Sign up as a distributor yourself.

Unfortunately, the Omnitrition International website does not give you the opportunity to search for distributors in your area, so unless you already know one, this may not be an viable option. Furthermore, signing up as a distributor without first knowing much about the company or their products may not work either, as there is a fee involved (see more about this in the following section). So ultimately, this means you’ll probably need to contact the company directly, which some may consider an inconvenience.

With this in mind, we were able to find one seemingly unbiased review about the company’s business model, though we did not verify any of the facts contained therein. Also, we did locate an independent distributor’s site that contains a fairly extensive list of products, descriptions, and prices.

Omnitrition International Pricing

Because of the wide range of Omnitrition International products available, prices can vary greatly.

Based on information from the company’s website, joining as a new Distributor will cost $49.95, and your first annual fee (payable at the same time) will cost $60, for a total of $109.95.

We were unable to locate any refund information on the company’s website or in their Terms and Conditions.

Bottom Line: Is Omnitrition International a Scam?

Due to the length of time Omnitrition International has been in business, we have no reason to believe that they’re a scam. However, keep in mind the following:

First, with very few legitimate online reviews about the company’s products or their business model, it’s difficult to gauge overall customer satisfaction levels. The best way to learn this information might be to speak with a local distributor, or to contact the company directly, but remember that you may not always get an unbiased opinion.

Next, Omnitrition International operates under a Multi-Level marketing business model. While there is nothing necessarily wrong with this, MLM companies have been under intense scrutiny in recent years, with claims of fraud, pyramid schemes, and more. In fact, we were able to locate a couple past lawsuits that Omnitrition International has been involved in (here and here). For the latter, a fairly exhaustive overview of the case can be found here. With this in mind, understand that making money under an MLM business model is possible, but often requires much more time and effort to be successful than most people realize. Even Omnitrition International specifically states on their website: “The earnings and weight loss results published on this site, are not typical.”

I did Omnitrition last year and lost 50 lbs in 100 days. I have kept if off and my doctor recommends this program to other patients because of my success. I am the healthiest I have ever been. It is NOT a 500 calorie diet. We don't count calories on it. You eat a healthy meal for lunch and dinner and fruit for breakfast and snack. If you did this program without the drops you would probably starve. Anyone can post anything negative on the internet of course. I have had success with this program so I would be more than happy to help anyone who has any questions or want to know how this REALLY works.

ZERO STARS. These crooks made fraudulent charges and refuse to rectify the situation. I never head of this "company" until I found them on my credit card statement. Beware of this company.

It's only 49.99 to sign up and $60 one year later. Not all at once. The products work and sell themselves. If you are interested in trying the products contact me at jadeswayne29@gmail.com.
