Double charged for a horrible product.

First of all, I was charged for this product twice. It was a Buy One Get One Free Offer which means that FOUR showed up to the doorstep! After waiting on hold for 45 minutes I finally had to just leave a message and hope someone returned it. They did return it and told me that even though I did not order, nor want the second set of cookers they sent, I would have to pay the shipping and handling to return the items I never wanted in the first place after having already paid their shipping to get to me. The best they could do is let me keep them and refund me $15. What the heck?

So now I have four Perfect Cookers that are certainly not perfect. Nothing cooks as easily and quickly as it claims to. You have to hit the button at least 4 to 5 times.

I recommend not purchasing as you'll most likely regret it.

    Certainly is a SLOW cooker.

    • By Karla,

You have to keep pressing the COOK button to get the food completely cooked, kind of hard when you are trying to do something else around the house. Also, if you have to wait 5 minutes to repress the cook button to go from warm to cook, it takes forever to cook food.

    Totally Annoyed

I first saw this Perfect Cooker on an infomercial and thought, wow this is great, my son is going into university this fall and this would be great for him because he can't have any hot plates in his dorm room. So I bought one to test it before he goes away. Well I wish I had done some research and read the reviews online because then I wouldn't have spent the money. Absolutely every review has a negative response and I have had all the same BAD issues. My son needs to be able to cook his food in under 10 minutes, even Kraft Dinner is 7 minutes in the microwave oven, and the mac & cheese is 12 minutes in the perfect cooker and even then, I bet, it will not be cooked. I am so taking this back. Please, please do not buy the Perfect Cooker.

    Lemon of the kitchen

    • By Kevin,

I hope you will save your money and not waste your time or money on this. I have to laugh at the one click and it's done concept. To cook the chicken pot pie, we had to click it at least seven times to get the biscuits done. We didn't even get the recipe book. We had to look it up online for the recipe. Like I said, not one click, but 7 and you have to keep looking at the food to see if it's done. The electric brain doesn't work to cook the perfect meal. What a piece of junk.

    What a piece of crap.

I gave it a 1 start because that was the only option - but I wish I could give it a negative 2. Not at all as advertised. No matter what you are trying to cook, you have to constantly hit the "cook" button over and over, and the "cook" button won't stay on until you have waited at least 5 minutes. What a joke. NOT what the commercial conveys. My slow cooker does a better job - at least I can walk away from it because I know it will take a while.

I ordered the Perfect Cooker on January 18, and as of now I have not received it. I have tried several times to cancel the order, but with no luck. I have received several phone numbers to call, but with no luck.

    Not worth it

I used the Perfect Cooker last night for the first time and followed the step by step directions for the Chicken Pot Pie.

After the 12 minute for time cook, I then hit the cook button again and waited the 25 minutes that it said to wait and the only thing that cooked was the biscuit on the bottom. The chicken never even cooked at all. So disappointed in this product.

    Perfect Cooker... NOT

The advertising made it sound great. I should have known not to believe it. What they don't tell you in the ad is that you have to turn almost everything over and cook again. Eg. Omelette, Meatloaf, Lava- Brownie, Calzone, Cheesecake, Bread Pudding. The Lasagna - well that is the most ridiculous amount of messing around to cook something that in the oven is so easy. I cooked the Beef Stew. It said to cook for 1 hour. Every 10 minutes the machine switches to warm and you have to take the lid off to release pressure before the cook button will go down again. You have to stay in the kitchen to watch it and keep resetting. I can cook a stew in the oven or stovetop far easier. This was the most disappointing product I have EVER purchased.

    Not Perfect

Don't buy it. First, the recipes seem to be translated from another language. They are extremely unclear and involve way more time than the commercial implies. You are better off buying a Crock-pot and a good Crock-pot cookbook. The cooker shots off if there isn't enough liquid, so it has been virtually impossible to make the egg muffin, and several other non-soup items. I am returning my today.

    BOGO?

My order is scheduled for UPS delivery tomorrow. The confirmation says “Quantity 1 and Shipping weight 3 pounds total”. I called to verify and was told that I paid for two ($19.99) shipping.

The total sale was over $60. How could two cookers, carton & packing materials add up to only 3 pounds? Maybe this is a scam.

    Rip-off

    • By Terrell Symington,
    • Sparta, MI,
    • Feb 28, 2016

Like every other review, it took 3 three to cook pot pie. I bought am and am sending them all back. Only 1 was opened, it isn't a good product and isn't anything as portrayed on television.

Big time rip-off. I called and tried to get my shipping back when I return it. She said she would give me $15.00 if I chose to keep them. Told her to give me the $15 toward my $29.97 shipping but, of course not. I lost $30.00 at least they had free return

    Do not buy.
