Double charged for a horrible product.

First of all, I was charged for this product twice. It was a Buy One Get One Free Offer which means that FOUR showed up to the doorstep! After waiting on hold for 45 minutes I finally had to just leave a message and hope someone returned it. They did return it and told me that even though I did not order, nor want the second set of cookers they sent, I would have to pay the shipping and handling to return the items I never wanted in the first place after having already paid their shipping to get to me. The best they could do is let me keep them and refund me $15. What the heck?

So now I have four Perfect Cookers that are certainly not perfect. Nothing cooks as easily and quickly as it claims to. You have to hit the button at least 4 to 5 times.

I recommend not purchasing as you'll most likely regret it.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Not Happy

This my my very first time ordering something off of the TV and honesty I will never do again. I took advantage if the BOGO for the Perfect Cooker. Well the first thing I noticed is that they charged me twice. I called to complain and they said was a pre-charge or whatever. Now I'm waiting on my bank statement to come to prove them wrong. I received the product yesterday and was excited to use it. First, I tried the omelette egg whites, I had to hit the cook button twice to fully cook. Then I tried rice and it came out pretty hard. Then I tried cheesecake, yet another mistake. So I gave up and then later that night my husband wanted a cake so I tried the lava cake. I literally had to hit the cook button five times at the end of the 5th time, it still wasn't done so I gave up. I called to supposedly get my full refund back this morning and they told me that I would be responsible for the shipping charges when sending back and that I would only get $29 back. What a joke! Do not order.

      Chelsi

My grandmother had the same problem. Best these scam artists would do is refund her $15. Now she's stuck with four pieces of crap cookers. They don't work like they claim.

No review, was rippe off after purchase.

Ordered on January 9, 2016. In less than a week, during one night while I was at work, my funds totally disappeared (got text messages for each transaction in states I've never visited). They took all my money. I never did receive the product. Anytime I went to check the status, I was charged (or they tried to charge again). It is now March 25, and just this past week I received an email claiming I would not receive my order due to the product being out of stock. There was no mention of any refund and I am still disputing hundreds of dollars.

Do not order! You're money will be jeopardized and/or depleted and no product will arrive.

    Not worth it

I used the Perfect Cooker last night for the first time and followed the step by step directions for the Chicken Pot Pie.

After the 12 minute for time cook, I then hit the cook button again and waited the 25 minutes that it said to wait and the only thing that cooked was the biscuit on the bottom. The chicken never even cooked at all. So disappointed in this product.

    Totally Annoyed

I first saw this Perfect Cooker on an infomercial and thought, wow this is great, my son is going into university this fall and this would be great for him because he can't have any hot plates in his dorm room. So I bought one to test it before he goes away. Well I wish I had done some research and read the reviews online because then I wouldn't have spent the money. Absolutely every review has a negative response and I have had all the same BAD issues. My son needs to be able to cook his food in under 10 minutes, even Kraft Dinner is 7 minutes in the microwave oven, and the mac & cheese is 12 minutes in the perfect cooker and even then, I bet, it will not be cooked. I am so taking this back. Please, please do not buy the Perfect Cooker.

    What a piece of crap.

I gave it a 1 start because that was the only option - but I wish I could give it a negative 2. Not at all as advertised. No matter what you are trying to cook, you have to constantly hit the "cook" button over and over, and the "cook" button won't stay on until you have waited at least 5 minutes. What a joke. NOT what the commercial conveys. My slow cooker does a better job - at least I can walk away from it because I know it will take a while.

    Not Perfect

Don't buy it. First, the recipes seem to be translated from another language. They are extremely unclear and involve way more time than the commercial implies. You are better off buying a Crock-pot and a good Crock-pot cookbook. The cooker shots off if there isn't enough liquid, so it has been virtually impossible to make the egg muffin, and several other non-soup items. I am returning my today.

    Rip-off

    • Sparta, MI,
    • Feb 28, 2016

Like every other review, it took 3 three to cook pot pie. I bought am and am sending them all back. Only 1 was opened, it isn't a good product and isn't anything as portrayed on television.

Big time rip-off. I called and tried to get my shipping back when I return it. She said she would give me $15.00 if I chose to keep them. Told her to give me the $15 toward my $29.97 shipping but, of course not. I lost $30.00 at least they had free return

    Do not buy.

    BOGO?

My order is scheduled for UPS delivery tomorrow. The confirmation says “Quantity 1 and Shipping weight 3 pounds total”. I called to verify and was told that I paid for two ($19.99) shipping.

The total sale was over $60. How could two cookers, carton & packing materials add up to only 3 pounds? Maybe this is a scam.

    Misleading advertising

    • California,
    • Feb 19, 2016
    • Verified Reviewer

The infomercial for this product gave the impression that you could cook in this item by simply pressing the Cook button, and then machine would stop cooking, and will turn to "warm" when the cooking was done. That is not accurate. With most recipes, you have to continuously go back to the cooker to either stir, or flit over the food. Several recipes require you to continue this process until the item is cooked. For the lasagna recipe alone, you have to set the machine, then after 15 minutes press the Cook button, then come back in 45 minutes and press the button again, and then wait another hour. I can cook a lasagna in my regular oven in 45 minutes! This is COMPLETE false advertising. The sad thing is that it is not OBVIOUS false advertising, it's very MISLEADING.
