About Pure Asian Garcinia

Pure Asian Garcinia claims to be an all-natural supplement that uses 60% Hydroxycitric acid (HCA) to help you burn extra body fat, boost your metabolism, and suppress your appetite, without changing your diet. In fact, Pure Asian Garcinia is claimed to help you lose weight up to 2X faster than diet and exercise alone.

Pure Asian Garcinia is claimed to manufactured without fillers, binders, or artificial ingredients, and to use only the following ingredients:

  • Garcinia Cambogia Extract 100mg
  • Calcium 50mg
  • Chromium 200mcg
  • Potassium 50mg

You’re busy, and even though you may have the willpower to lose weight, you may not always have the time. But can Pure Asian Garcinia provide your body with the extra little “kick” it needs to start shedding pounds, or will you just be kicking yourself for falling for another weight loss scam? Consider the following:

What is Garcinia Cambogia?

As we detailed in our original investigation into the supplement more than a year ago, garcinia cambogia is a “tree-borne fruit shaped like a small, greenish-yellow pumpkin, which grows primarily in tropical regions of southeast Asia, India, and even parts of Africa.”

Inside the rind of the garcinia cambogia fruit is a substance known as hydroxycitric acid (HCA), which is claimed by many nutritional supplements manufacturers to provide a wide range of benefits, including increased metabolism, boosted weight loss, and even improved mood.

While these sound like fantastic benefits, is there any clinical evidence to back them up?

Can Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) Help You Lose Weight?

According to the Pure Asian Garcinia website, their “key compound targets your fat pockets and works to burn them off while preventing consumed carbohydrates from converting into additional fat. HCA naturally suppresses the appetite allowing you to better control your hunger cravings.”

However, as we’ve outlined on multiple occasions, including in our articles The Truth About Garcinia Cambogia and the Garcinia Cambogia Buyer’s Guide, there is essentially zero clinical evidence to support these claims. This doesn’t mean that garcinia cambogia won’t have any effects, only none of the ones claimed by supplements manufacturers.

What Other Ingredients Does Pure Asian Garcinia Contain?

In addition to garcinia cambogia, Pure Asian Garcinia is also claimed to include calcium, chromium, and potassium to provide “added metabolic benefits.”

However, according to WebMD, there is insufficient clinical evidence showing that calcium, chromium, or potassium can provide any kind of metabolic boost or other weight loss benefits. Granted, this doesn’t mean that there aren’t any benefits associated with these ingredients—just not related to weight loss.

In fact, calcium has been shown in some studies to actually reduce any benefits provided by HCA.

Are Customers Losing Weight with Pure Asian Garcinia?

Pure Asian Garcinia was a fairly new supplement at the time of our research, and didn’t have any legitimate online customer reviews available.

However, we did comes across numerous fake customer reviews created by independent affiliates, who earn commissions from each sale of the supplement they refer. Because they’re not directly associated with these companies, and because they’re only interested in creating as many sales as possible, these affiliate sites are intended to look like real reviews, when they’re actually just more marketing hype.

Pure Asian Garcinia’s Advertising Tactics

In addition to affiliate fake customer reviews on third-party sites, Pure Asian Garcinia uses some less-than-stellar marketing tactics on their website as well. This includes images intended to make you think there is a huge demand for their supplement, and that the manufacturer is having difficulty keeping up with demand.

However, as we outlined in our article How Weight Loss Ads Convince You to Buy, this almost certainly isn’t the case, and is intended to cause you to make an emotional decision instead of an informed one.

Pure Asian Garcinia Pricing & Refund Policy

Pure Asian Garcinia is only available through a 12-day trial for $5 (additional options available for more money), for which you’ll receive a full 30-day supply (60 capsules).

After 12 business days have passed, you’ll then be charged $59 for the full price of the product, and will also be enrolled in Pure Asian Garcinia’s autoship program. This means you’ll continue receiving a regular supply of the supplement once per month, and your credit card will be charged $59 each time.

Important note: Based on hundreds of product reviews we’ve written, it’s our opinion that free trials are never free and autoship programs are more about roping you into recurring charges than they are about providing you with any kind of convenience. Because of this, we typically recommend staying away from products sold using these methods.

Outside of the initial 12-day trial, there are no refunds available for Pure Asian Garcinia.

With this said, in order to cancel your trial or enrollment in the company’s autoship program, you’ll need to contact customer service at 888-221-2554.

Will Pure Asian Garcinia Really Help You Lose Weight?

Chopping to the point: Considering the fact that there’s essentially no clinical evidence showing that garcinia cambogia can help you lose weight, in addition to the fact that Pure Asian Garcinia is only available through a free trial and subsequent autoship program, our opinion is that its high price is far out of line with any benefits you can expect to achieve from using it.

Pure Asian Garcinia is My Hell On Earth

First: Don’t do it. If you’re reading this and you’re thinking “it's only a free trial, I’ll just cancel it right away” you’re wrong. These people make it impossible to avoid the renewal charge.

Okay, so I admit ordering diet pills from a sketchy website wasn’t my most sound decision, but what can I say. The chat bubble that popped up with Salesman Rob was very reassuring. I was debating making my experience have a time out in the dark corner where it belongs, but if you’re like me who thinks this will not add any stress or shame to your life whatsoever you need my guidance. Hi. Nice to meet you. Here’s my story.

I ordered my free trial of this product on March 1st, 2016 and then I read the reviews and allegations of scams. I canceled my subscription right away via email. I waited five days with no cancelation verification, then I sent two emails informing them my credit card was canceled because I did not want to pay the subscription fees and I also made two calls to customer service (at both of their phone numbers) on March 6th, 2016. Both the calls and emails went unanswered. I called them today (March 9th, so close to the 12 day renewal charge) with a different tactic and it finally worked.

Heres the trick when if you want them to answer you:

When you call their toll free number (1-888-221-2554) DO NOT click one for customer service. You will be waiting on the line forever and you will eventually give up. Instead, click two for sales. They picked up in a matter of seconds.

The lady I talked to was actually rather apologetic and kind, but still I would rather lick my dogs fur for an hour straight before ordering this product and cancelling it again.

Also, no diet pill is worth experiencing the shame I felt when I had to tell the cute bank teller why I was thinking of cancelling my credit card.

I hope my story will inspire you to take the high road.

    Auf wiedersehen, comrades.

    Not good

I purchased these diet pills a couple of weeks ago before my birthday. When I received them they were in a shipping bag with no directions on how to take the pills. Who doesn't have any directions on the bottle on how to take the pills? All it says is take 2 pills a day. Come to find out you're supposed to take one pill in the morning and one pill at night, but it doesn't tell you that. So how would you know, right?

This is a scam and I recommend you not to try it or waste your money on it. Not only that, when you call to cancel they make you send the pills back and you have to pay for the shipping back to them and they will not cancel your subscription until you call them back with the tracking number. First time I tried calling them to cancel, the phone lines were busy, so it gave me an option to leave a message. I left a message and I never got a response back, which makes sense because they wanted me to obviously forget about it so it would just be charged to my account the next month.

Please do not buy these pills. If you're looking for another diet pill similar to this, go with a different brand because this is not a good company to order anything from. Plus the pills don't work and gave me major heartburn every time I took one. I do not recommend them at all. Unfortunately this company is very misleading and is a scam.

Do not try this product. They unexpectedly charge you $79.00 per bottle that you ordered after 12 days of it being processed! But of course they don't tell you that. Your free trial isn't really free because they will charge you and their customer service was of NO help with refunding! Their representatives will lie and say that their are no extra charges but there will be. I've had a terrible experience with this product.

    So expensive

So, I found this recommended on Tumblr (I know, but that's where I found it). I was intrigued and signed up for the free trial and the bottle came to me in a couple of days.

I was enjoying the Garcinia, it gives me tons of energy without feeling jittery or like I chugged a bucket of coffee. I haven't noticed a major difference on the scale yet, but my body looks pretty good and has slimmed down.

One thing they don't really mention is that you're supposed to only take one a day, not two like it says on the bottle. WHAT. Super sketchy to not have the recommended dose on the bottle.

I was happy with the product and was only expecting the charges for the subscription and didn't try to cancel, when a 79.00 charge comes out of nowhere that I wasn't notified about. Then, two weeks later my subscription comes through with a 59.00 charge. I've paid 138.00 for this product and I don't even have my next bottle yet. So I canceled over the phone, because you can't cancel online or I can't find a way to. The customer service lady is very nice and tried to offer me a free bottle of the colon cleanse with my shipment. Turns out it would be my next shipment, the one I hadn't even paid for yet. NOPE. I'm out.

Overall, don't buy Garcinia from this company, it's a scam subscription service.

They have the worse costumer service. They charged me for a "free trial" bottle of pills, that I thought were free, without telling me and they didn't want to give me a refund.

    Don't Buy This Product

OK first things first, I have never ever been one to try a product let alone a diet pill, but since I found it on Tumblr I thought 'hey this might be legit.' WRONG. DEAD WRONG. They tell you it's 'free' and all of a sudden you're paying $79.00 and you're still as fat as you came in. Do not trust anyone that tries to get you into this, it's a scam. If you already have here's a tip - tell them you'll send the remaining bottles back and save the shipping conformation number. Call them back and give them the number. They will try to reel you back in with free crap - don't bother it's garbage.
