Pure Moringa Slim is a dietary supplement that’s claimed to help you burn fat quicker without diet and exercise, while preventing the buildup of fat, suppressing appetite and controlling food cravings, regulating blood pressure, preventing premature aging, and increasing serotonin to improve your overall mood.

Because of this, Pure Moringa Slim is claimed to help you feel better, more comfortable, and more energized, while helping you to lose up to 1 pound a day!

In order to accomplish this, Pure Slim Moringa is claimed to contain more than 90 nutrients and 46 antioxidants, along with other ingredients such as:

  • Moringa
  • White Kidney Bean
  • Green Tea
  • Raspberry Ketone
  • Forskolin
  • Garcinia Cambogia
  • Green Coffee
  • Caralluma

Finally, Pure Moringa Slim is claimed to be made in the USA in an FDA-registered manufacturing facility, and to be certified 100% organic.

Whether you learned about moringa by watching TV or landed on the Pure Moringa Slim website after clicking on an online ad, you’re here to find out if it really works as advertised. So let’s get right to it.

What is Moringa?

Moringa oleifera is a plant found naturally in many areas of sub-Himalaya, and has been used for centuries as a traditional treatment for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, asthma, diarrhea, headaches, high blood pressure, and more. This is because moringa is known to contain high concentrations of proteins, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

However, just because moringa contains all of these ingredients doesn’t mean that it can provide you with any weight loss benefits. In fact, WebMD states that there is insufficient clinical evidence available showing that moringa can provide any kind of benefits, weight loss or otherwise. So why is moringa being promoted as such?

Why is Moringa So Popular?

Moringa may have been around for centuries, but it entered the consciousness of most Americans in 2012 after being featured on the Dr. Oz daytime TV show, where he claimed it can boost energy.

After appearing on the show, manufacturers began flooding the market with moringa supplements and selling them like hotcakes, which is something that’s become known as the Dr. Oz Effect. Since that time, moringa has continued to be marketed as a popular weight loss supplement, but what does science have to say about this?

Are Pure Moringa Slim’s Other Ingredients Proven to Work?

In short, no.

This is because Pure Moringa Slim contains a veritable “who’s who” of flavor-of-the-day ingredients that have extraordinarily little (or no) clinical evidence behind them, which we exposed in great detail in our Raspberry Ketone, Forskolin, Garcinia Cambogia, and Green Coffee Bean articles. In addition, there is insufficient evidence showing that white kidney bean or caralluma can provide any kind of weight loss benefits.

According to WebMD though, the caffeine content in green tea may help temporarily increase focus and energy, although you’ll be back at baseline once this wears off. In addition, taking green tea by mouth may be a good way to reduce cholesterol.

Pure Moringa Slim’s Advertising Tactics

Perhaps because there’s essentially zero clinical evidence showing that any of Pure Moringa Slim’s ingredients can help you lose weight, the manufacturer relies on emotional tactics to convince you to make a purchase, which is something we covered in-depth in our How Weight Loss Ads Convince You to Buy article.

This begins by featuring a prominent picture of an attractive model in the upper left-hand corner (where your eye is first drawn to), making you imagine yourself looking like that. Then, you learn that you can—finally—lose weight without diet and exercise, but that the product is so popular the company may not be able to maintain their supply.

After this sense of urgency is created, you then find out you can make a purchase simply by entering your information. At this point you’re primed to buy, because your decision is based more on emotional reasons than on rational ones.

Pure Moringa Slim’s website is set up specifically to trigger an emotional response.

In addition, Pure Moringa Slim claims to have more than 100K Facebook fans, 550K satisfied customers, and to be an authorized Amazon reseller. However, we were unable to locate the supplement’s account on Amazon or Facebook at the time of our research (2/11/2015).

As if this wasn’t enough, most of the affiliate websites selling Pure Moringa Slim (more about this next) were uploaded within the past few days, making it seem highly unlikely that 550K bottles of the supplement have been sold in that very short period of time.

Finally, Pure Moringa Slim indicates that they’re accredited with the Better Business Bureau with an A rating, although there is no listing for the company on the BBB website.

Are any of these claims true?

Are Pure Moringa Slim’s Customers Pleased?

Pure Moringa Slim is only sold through independent affiliates who earn commissions for each sale of the supplement that they refer. And because these affiliates are independent, they will often resort to sub-par advertising techniques in order to make a sale, including posting fake review websites.

In short, these are intended to mislead you into thinking you’re reading about a real customer’s experience, when it’s actually just more sales hype.

Pure Moringa Slim Pricing & Refund Policy

Pure Moringa Slim is available in 3 different purchasing options:

  • 1 Bottle: $49.99
  • Buy 2, Get 1 Free: $99
  • Buy 3, Get 2 Free: $148

Whichever option you choose, your order will include free shipping.

Important note: According to a graphic underneath Pure Moringa Slim’s ordering page, all prices shown are less a mail-in rebate. So, if you’re not careful, this could come as a huge surprise when you receive your credit card bill. With this said, many of these “mail-in rebates” are often contingent upon accepting another offer, so the rebate is likely not all that it’s cracked up to be.

questionable promotion
Pure Moringa Slim’s mail-in rebate may not be what you think it is.

As if these weren’t enough bullets to dodge, underneath the “Place My Order” button, there is a checkbox that will automatically enroll you in My-Healthy-Helper.com, which will cost you $9.74 per month after an initial 30-day trial. If you don’t want to enroll in this, be sure to uncheck this box.

Be sure to uncheck this box unless you want to enroll in a membership for My-Healthy-Helper.com.

Thankfully, there’s no indication that Pure Moringa Slim is offered through a free trial, or that you’ll be signed up for an autoship program after placing your order.

Pure Moringa Slim comes with a 30-day refund policy, less S&H charges and a $5.95 restocking fee per bottle. In order to request a refund, you’ll need to contact customer service at 866-369-8481 to obtain an RMA.

Can Pure Moringa Slim Help You Lose Weight?

Chopping to the point: Considering that none of Pure Moringa Slim’s ingredients have been clinically shown to be effective for weight loss, the answer to this question is: Almost certainly not. This, in combination with the manufacturer’s less-than-stellar marketing tactics (some might even call them outright lies) and confusing checkout process leads us to believe that the supplement’s very high price provides a very low level of value.
