What is Pure Nitro Max?

Published on: Feb 27, 2017

Pure Nitro Max bills itself as a natural supplement meant to help men increase testosterone and burn fat. The products main website claims that taking Pure Nitro Max will increase your energy in the gym, as well as increasing libido and performance in the bedroom. By taking the supplements before working out or engaging in sexual activity, the product claims to help men perform their best.

The main website for Pure Nitro Max states that men begin to lose testosterone after age 30. WebMD seems to confirm that indeed, men do tend to gradually experience lower testosterone levels from age 30 onwards, and that this is due to a variety of different possible medical reasons, many of which are to be expected with age. Some of these reasons, however, can be due to an underlying medical condition ranging from depression, to diabetes, and even coronary artery disease.

Overall, testosterone loss is a complex issue that may indeed warrant its own article altogether. If you’d like more information, we’d recommend you visit your local physician.

So, the question then becomes: is Pure Nitro Max truly a good solution for men looking to maximize their testosterone in the gym and in bed? Is there any substantiation to the manufacturer's claims based on clinical evidence? Before we answer these and other questions, let’s take a look at how similar supplements usually work.

How Do Supplements Like Pure Nitro Max Work?

Testosterone boosters such as Pure Nitro Max have been around for many years as a mainstay product in the supplement industry. There are many different brands and types of products that claim to help men increase their testosterone, many of which use similar ingredients to each other. In fact, we’ve even taken a look some of these products in the past, such as Alpha Limit, Bio Testosterone XR, and RevTest Testosterone Booster.

Common ingredients found in these sorts of products include D-Aspartic Acid (D-AA), Tribulus Terrestris (TT), Fenugreek, and ZMA. There are various studies and clinical reports that show, to varying degree, the effectiveness of these ingredients when it comes to helping to increase testosterone production in the body.

We’ve encountered quite a bit of interest in these sorts of products over the years, so in order to make things easier for our readers here at HighYa, we’ve created a dedicated article for these supplements. It can be found here: Do Testosterone Boosters Really Work? Find Out What Science Says.

In short, many products with claims similar to the ones made by Pure Nitro Max tend to be very expensive, but yet lack conclusive clinical evidence that their ingredients actually help boost testosterone levels in the body. In the case of many of the products listed above, the ingredient information provided by the manufacturer simply did not provide definitive proof that the product itself would help with raising testosterone levels in the body. So, is Pure Nitro Max different from these products? Let’s find out.

Where are the Ingredients for Pure Nitro Max?

Upon investigating the main website for Pure Nitro Max, we were surprised to discover that there are no specific mentions of the ingredients included in the product anywhere that we could find. When we reached out to the number provided on the main website, the customer service agent was unfamiliar with the name “Pure Nitro Max”, which was certainly a bit alarming.

After a brief hold, the agent came back on the line and explained that they couldn't find any information about Pure Nitro Max at all in their system. This is quite a big red flag, considering the fact that we called the number listed directly on the main website for the product.

We’ve sent an email to the customer support address listed with the phone number inquiring about an ingredient list, but as of the time of this writing, we have yet to receive a response back. So, what does this mean for you? Without knowing exactly what ingredients are being used in Pure Nitro Max, it is all but impossible to make an accurate statement on the effectiveness of the product for increasing testosterone levels in the body.

It is quite abnormal for a brand to simply not list ingredients for a supplement being sold online. The vast majority of testosterone supplements we’ve reviewed over the years have had ingredients listed somewhere on the products main website, though there have been occasions where this is not the case.

Pure Nitro Max Pricing, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Currently, it looks as though Pure Nitro Max is only available through a 14-day “free” trial, coming out to $4.95 total for shipping and handling. For this amount, you’ll receive a 30-day supply of the product, but it’s important to note that after this initial 14-day period, you will automatically be enrolled in the company’s autoship program. This means that your debit or credit card that you used to make the initial purchase will be automatically charged for an additional $89.69 for the original product you ordered. You will also be charged $89.69 each month for a new 30-day supply of the product.

This information is not readily available, and can only be found by clicking on “Terms and Conditions” at the bottom of the sales page. You will be continually shipped (and billed for) 30-day supplies of Pure Nitro Max until you cancel your autoship program membership.

To cancel your recurring membership, the terms listed state that you must call the number provided on the website. This is yet another red flag for us, because as stated above, when we reached out to the number provided to inquire about the ingredients in Pure Nitro Max, the customer service agent was unfamiliar with the product entirely. We feel that this could potentially complicate the cancellation process further, and feel it is our responsibility to inform you ahead of time about this potential headache.

Notice About Arbitration Agreement

If you read through the terms and conditions listed on the website for Pure Nitro Max, you’re likely to notice that the company employs the use of an Arbitration Agreement. This means that by placing your order, you are agreeing to handle any legal issues that might come up outside of the court system, dealing instead with binding arbitration.

By doing this, you are giving up some of your important legal rights in the process, such as the right to become part of a class action lawsuit. Keep this in mind before making an order on the website.

Bottom Line: Should You Buy Pure Nitro Max?

To get straight to the point, we feel that there is not enough information provided by the manufacturer to fully recommend purchasing Pure Nitro Max at this time. Our key issue here is the lack of transparency with the ingredients used in the supplement. It is extremely difficult to recommend a product when we do not know what is inside it, especially when talking about a product meant to help men with an issue as large and complex as testosterone production.

Additionally, the confusion surrounding the customer service number apparently not being associated with the product makes us hesitant to say that cancelling the autoship program membership before the 14-day trial is over will be an entirely viable option, seeing as the terms specifically state that you must call to cancel, yet the customer service department claims that they do not have any information on or knowledge of the product whatsoever.

All in all, there simply isn’t enough information out there currently to verify the manufacturers claims that Pure Nitro Max will increase your testosterone production reliably or effectively. If you’d still like to purchase the trial and test it for yourself, simply be aware of the autoship program, the charges associated with it, and the potential issues with cancellation listed above.

Pure Nitro, Pure Testo = Pure Scam

DO NOT order this! My billing statement shows two companies that I've never heard of. I contacted them, and it is indeed the "Pure Testo" people. They avoid refunding your money by making you pay more to send the product back than it cost on the "trial." This is RICO at its' corporate best. The ad that I responded to had no mention of an ongoing trial, and they know it. That's the reason for having these "shell" websites on your billing statement to make it look like you knowingly signed up for this.

Oops, I forgot to mention that the product feels very cheesy.

The product did not work for me. It was supposed to be a one time charge $10.00 a piece for both (you can't buy just one, they make you buy both). I never saw that you had to cancel it within ten days or be charged full price for both. I would never recommend this to anybody. Scam.

They do not want to refund your money. Scam.

    Rip off

This review is about their business practices and not the product. Crooks! Signed up for "14-day trial." Well, that trial time started the moment I placed the order. The product came maybe 5-6 days later, but on day 15 I got billed for the whole amount. I never had a chance to evaluate or return.

I called their "customer service" (what a joke) and was told they wouldn't even consider a refund as I had not returned with the 14 days. They couldn't care less about the time discrepancy. I called my credit card company and filed a fraud claim, but to no avail. Apparently, their agreement wording is pretty iron clad.

In my opinion, these people are criminals. I wouldn't trust these people with my credit card number (again).

    Scam stay away

Pure Nitro Max is a joke, do not fall for it. I ordered a "free trial" which was not a free trial. They sent me another product and charged me for that as well. When called, they say it matches well with what you got, and it is my fault. I am telling you, do not order from this place at all.
