About Re REVIVE
Re REVIVE revitalizing moisturizer is an anti-aging skincare product that claims to be able to quickly erase fine lines and wrinkles, leaving you with younger-looking skin in the process. It is billed as a convenient alternative to traditional surgeries and injections, with the manufacturer stating that the product works naturally and painlessly as a topical cream to firm your skin’s appearance.
In order to decide if Re REVIVE can truly be expected to deliver on these promises, we first need to take a look at how our body’s largest organ, the skin, changes as we age.
A Scientific Look At Collagen
According to the manufacturer of Re REVIVE, our skin is made up of 75 percent collagen, a fact that WebMD has shown us to be true. If you’re unfamiliar with the substance, you may be wondering just how important it is to your skin overall.
In a nutshell, collagen is the portion of the skin that gives it its physical structure, and as such, is responsible for warding off the effects of time, such as sagging, wrinkles, and crepey skin.
WebMD reports that time is a substantial opponent, however, and that collagen production gradually slows as we age.
To combat this, the makers of Re REVIVE claim that the solution can deliver whole collagen particles to your facial area to counter this, unlike many products that use fragments of hydrolyzed collagen instead. Is this even possible?
According to Medical News Today, collagen particles are too large to pass directly through the skin. A blog post by Dr. Michael Edmonds on his site Molecular Matters reinforces this fact, and goes on to show that many creams that claim to increase collagen count in the skin end up providing only a temporary benefit to the user, with the effects fading over time.
These effects often boil down to the appearance of slightly smoother skin, due to the topical collagen acting as “icing on the cake”, smoothing out uneven areas and making them look more uniform overall.
So, having learned all of this, what ingredients are included in the product’s formula?
Re REVIVE Formula Ingredients
No ingredient list is provided on the main website for Re REVIVE, and when we reached out to customer service, they first told us that the formula featured hydroxycitric acid, potassium, and calcium.
This didn’t seem like a full list, so we called back and spoke to another agent who gave us an entirely different set of ingredients, including retinol and Vitamin D. She then pointed us to another website, but unfortunately it seemed to be for a third-party product named ReVitalize.
Looking at the ingredients we were given, a few are reported to have potential for some anti-aging related properties, like:
- Retinol, which WebMD claims minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and bolsters skin thickness and elasticity.
- Vitamin D may provide anti-inflammatory benefits, though we didn’t encounter any specific evidence from sources like the National Institute of Health and Examine.com that it could reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
- Potassium, which may show promise for treating acne.
Outside of this, the NIH, WebMD, and Examine.com didn’t report anti-aging benefits related to any of the remaining ingredients contained in Re REVIVE (at least for those reported by customer support).
At the bottom of the cream’s main website, a link to a study is provided containing information on the ingredient Argireline. None of the Re REVIVE customer service agents we spoke with mentioned this as an active ingredient, and when we specifically asked, we were told that they did not have access to this information.
Nonetheless, Argireline is thought to be able to inhibit the release of neurotransmitters, which in turn can relax the facial muscles and reduce wrinkles in the process. A separate clinical study carried out in 2002 seemed to illustrate that the substance was able to reduce the appearance of wrinkles over a 30-day period, but again, as of this writing, we cannot confirm its inclusion in Re REVIVE’s formula.
Surprisingly, neither the website nor customer service mentioned collagen being an ingredient, despite several references to the substance on the website.
What About Any Side Effects?
Seeing as we don’t have a confirmed list of ingredients or their concentrations to draw upon, we have no way of reporting accurately on any potential side effects that may crop up when using Re REVIVE.
Looking at the ingredients above, though, all of them have reported side effects when taken by mouth, but few provide any references related to their topical application. WebMD reports that retinoids like retinol might cause redness or peeling of the skin, though no concentration amounts are provided.
In general, we always recommend speaking with your doctor before trying any product that you’ve never used on your skin.
Re REVIVE Pricing & Return Policy
As of this writing, Re REVIVE was available exclusively as a “free trial” from the manufacturer. This means that you’ll only need to pay $4.95 for shipping to receive a 30-day trial supply of the product. However, as part of this trial, you’ll have 14 days from the date of purchase to evaluate it before being charged $89.97 for this initial supply, and entered into the company’s autoship program.
This means that every 30 days after this initial transaction, you’ll be charged $89.97 and shipped a new supply of the product until you cancel by calling 877-808-1296 or emailing email@example.com.
As for returns and refunds, the terms state that after 14 days, opened packages are not eligible for refunds, even if they are returned. After 30 days, all shipments are ineligible, opened or not. If you cancel before the 14 day trial period, you may be subject to a $9.95 retention fee.
How To Purchase An Anti-Aging Product Like Re REVIVE
For years now, anti-aging products have been a staple of the As Seen On TV industry. We’re all searching for ways to retain our youthful glow, and these goods often promise to deliver this and many other miraculous benefits. Unfortunately, our experience researching hundreds of these products often indicates they don’t include much in the way of evidence to back these claims up.
When looking to purchase an anti-aging product, there are a few different things to keep in mind as you carry out your research. In no particular order, these include the following:
- Is a full ingredient list provided by the manufacturer? And if so, do authoritative websites like WebMD and Examine.com report clinical evidence supporting the claims made by the product?
- Are there autoship programs or free trials involved? Is the pricing structure laid out clearly and concisely?
- Is the price competitive with other popular products?
- Are there real, verified customers talking about and reviewing the product? What are they saying?
- Is the return policy risk-free and straightforward?
Bringing all of these into focus with reVIVE specifically, let’s look at a few final thoughts we have on the product below.
The Bottom Line: WIll Re REVIVE Be Effective For You?
Re REVIVE makes several claims about what it can do for your skin, but at the end of the day, are these justified? Using our own guidelines above, let’s break it down:
The product does not include a full ingredient list, nor did we encounter any customer reviews of any sort on third-party sites. The manufacturer also employ an autoship program that will cost you nearly $100 per month (unless canceled).
Finally, the company does not offer refunds on opened products after 14 days, meaning this is not a risk-free offer. Even then, if you try it out and decide it isn’t for you, you’ll have to eat the shipping costs and possibly the $9.95 retention fee as well (the terms state that “you may be charged” this amount).
Ultimately, we feel that a better option for getting the most value out of your hard-earned money would be to visit your doctor before purchasing any sort of anti-aging product, regardless of brand or type. This way, you can get tailored, professional advice on how best to proceed, hopefully arriving at a solution that fits your specific needs based on lifestyle, budget, and skin condition.

Horrible customer service
I tried to talk to them about canceling and getting a refund on the shipment that had just arrived today that I was charged for a few days ago. I explained that I was rushed to the hospital unconscious and didn't wake up for a few days, didn't even know my name, let alone about my subscription to them that I needed to cancel. It took me some time, but I got better. They didn't care! Said there was nothing they would do about the charges, there is no manager to contact, it is COMPANY POLICY.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
