About Red Fortera

By HighYa Research Team
Published on: Feb 20, 2017

Red Fortera is a clinically tested, all-natural male enhancement supplement that promises to improve performance, enhance stamina, and deliver on-demand erections, without the side effects commonly found in the competition.

Take one capsule 30 minutes prior to intimacy, and the company claims Red Fortera’s expertly blended formula of high-quality ingredients can drastically improve erection quality and revitalize the passion in your relationship.

Because of these benefits, we’re told Red Fortera has been available on the marketplace for 10+ years and has been successfully used by hundreds of thousands of people around the globe.

But will it work for you?

In other words, can you really expect a single pill of natural ingredients to work at the same level as prescription medications from your doctor? Will Red Fortera’s supplements deliver a better sexual experience, or will it be a huge waste of time and money?

If you want to talk efficacy, you want to talk about ingredients, so that’s exactly where we’ll begin.

Red Fortera vs. Viagra: What Can You Really Expect From These Ingredients?

Here’s what each pill of Red Fortera contains, based on the label on their site:

  • Niacin (as vitamin B3) 80mg
  • Zinc 25mg
  • Proprietary Blend 545mg: Korean Ginseng, Tribulus Terrestris, L-arginine, Maca Root Powder, L-tyrosine, Octacosanol, Cinnamon, Ginkgo Biloba, Yohimbe Bark

According to authoritative websites like WebMD and Examine.com, 500mg of niacin daily can help lower cholesterol and prevent arteriosclerosis. In turn, both of these conditions could impede blood flow and potentially lead to erectile dysfunction.

In addition, 1,400-2,700mg of Panax (not necessarily Korean) ginseng may help men with erectile dysfunction achieve an erection, while 5g per day of l-arginine may help accomplish the same.

15-30mg daily of yohimbine, the active ingredient in yohimbe, have been used to address erectile dysfunction, although the available clinical evidence doesn’t seem to support its efficacy.

Outside of this, authoritative websites report there’s insufficient clinical evidence indicating that any of Red Fortera’s ingredients can help boost your libido, improve your performance, enhance your stamina, or deliver “on-demand erections.”

And even for those that might, they’re all part of a proprietary blend, so we can’t know if Red Fortera contains enough to deliver any results.

On the other hand, prescription medications like Viagra have been clinically proven to improve blood flow and help most men (although certainly not all) achieve harder erections. And if you have health insurance, you could pay a lot less per pill for options like Viagra and Cialis than you would for Red Fortera.

What about all the manufacturer’s “clinically tested” talk, though?

What Can We Learn From Red Fortera’s Clinical Results?

According to the supplement’s website, Red Fortera was part of a 7-week randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled trial involving healthy men. In the end, we're told the supplement:

  • Increased sexual satisfaction rating of their partner’s erection quality/hardness by 18%
  • 13% improvement in arousal rating
  • 12% in erectile quality and performance
  • 26% increase in female partner satisfaction

At first glance, these results might seem astounding, although Josh Bloom of the American Council on Science and Health writes a fairly scathing analysis in ED Supplement Claims Don’t Stand Up to Scrutiny.

In a nutshell, outside of the fact that only healthy men (vs. those experiencing erection quality issues) participated, he indicates that 18% is a fairly small difference and that, at 12%, the erectile quality and performance measurement is less than a placebo. He also attempted to reach out to the company for a company of this study and was met with a brick wall.

What about side effects?

Will Red Fortera Male Enhancement Cause Any Side Effects?

While the clinical evidence supporting many of the manufacturer’s claims might be missing, the good news is that authoritative websites tell us you probably won’t have to worry about any side effects worse than mild digestive upset with Red Fortera.

The most commonly reported side effect associated with niacin is flushing, while l-arginine can sometimes cause allergies, worsening of asthma, and low blood pressure. Be sure to keep this last point in mind if you’re taking blood pressure medication.

Ginkgo has been known to cause dizziness, forceful heartbeat, and allergic skin reactions in some individuals, and we’re told there isn’t enough information to know if octacosanol is safe.

How Much Does Red Fortera Cost & Where to Buy?

If purchased directly from the manufacturer, Red Fortera is available in four options:

  • 1 Capsule w/Sexual Powerhouse Membership: Free, plus $9.99 S&H
  • 1 Capsule: $15 plus $9.99 S&H
  • 3 Capsules: $39.99 plus free S&H
  • 6 Capsules: $89.99 plus free S&H

If you choose the first, third, or fourth option, you’ll be enrolled in the Sexual Powerhouse membership. What’s this mean?

14 days after placing your order, you’ll be shipped a new kit (six capsules) and charged $79.99. From there, you’ll continue receiving a new kit every 30 days and charged $79.99 each time.

If you’d like to avoid this autoship program, four capsules of Red Fortera could also be purchased from Amazon and Walmart.com for about the same price.

Through the company, all Red Fortera orders come with a 30-day money back guarantee, less S&H. In order to request one, or to cancel your automatic shipments, customer support can be reached at 800-240-9403 or info@nextgenhealthsolutions.com.

Now, given what we’ve learned from authoritative websites about the efficacy of Red Fortera’s ingredients, are the supplement’s customers finding these high per-pill prices valuable?

Are Red Fortera’s Reviews Positive, or Filled With Complaints?

Among 26 customer reviews on Amazon, Red Fortera had an average rating of 3.1 stars at the time of our research. There, most compliments related to improved erection quality, stamina, and performance, while the most common complaint—like any nutritional supplement from any company—was no results.

From a company perspective, Red Fortera is manufactured by Next Gen Health Solutions, LLC based out of New Rochelle, NY. They had a C Better Business Bureau rating based on just one closed complaint (as of 2/20/17), with no details available.

The manufacturer’s website consisted of only a single page, with no other products listed.

Can You Believe All the Claims Made In the Red Fortera Commercial?

On a per-pill basis, Red Fortera is undoubtedly the highest priced nutritional supplement the HighYa team has reviewed to date, including options with many of the same ingredients like RevTest, RexVar, and Lifeforce T-2000.

Can you expect a lot of value for this price?

We didn’t test the supplement ourselves, so we can’t provide any firsthand feedback. Looking at the clinical evidence as reported by authoritative websites, though, it doesn’t seem that Red Fortera’s ingredients will pack much of a punch.

Additionally, online customer feedback seemed mixed—and keep in mind that the majority of Amazon reviews were not verified purchases at the time of writing.

But the reality is that this scenario is fairly common among this supplement niche, which you can read more about in Do Testosterone Boosters Really Work?

The bottom line is that, from a physical perspective, erections are all about blood flow. As such, it makes sense that the greater the circulation to your penis, the firmer the erection you’ll experience.

However, only two of Red Fortera’s ingredients have sufficient clinical evidence showing they might improve circulation (Panax ginseng and l-arginine), although you could pick up individual bottles of each for a combined total as low as $20.

But the reality is that any aspect of physical intimacy—including erection quality—can also be heavily impacted by emotional and mental factors. For this reason alone, we think you might get the most value for your hard-earned money by speaking with your doctor.

Then, you can inquire about whether or not Red Fortera’s ingredients—and high price—will deliver value based on your specific diagnosis.

    Product doesn't work.

This is a subscription company that does not tell you up front from the time of purchase that you will be charged more money at a later date. $172 in charges that I did not know were coming. My trial product didn't even work. When placing an order online, this company should more transparent. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

Continues to charge even though you cancel

My complaint with this company is that when/if you decide to cancel, be careful! They may continue to charge your card. This is exactly what happened in my case.

The customer service representative told me when I called to cancel that they would cancel my subscription and discontinue sending the product. Then they charged me for the product anyway and sent another product the next month, and the month after that. All the while, I continue to call and complain, but not until this day did I find out they kept charging my debit card.

Lessons learned: don't believe these companies when they tell you, "It's taken care of," and don't use a debit card to make the purchase. It's much easier to dispute fraudulent activities with a credit card.

By the way, they refused to give me credit on this last shipment, even though it's been well over two months since I've first canceled my subscription, unless and until they receive it back "REFUSED." I don't believe it is my responsibility to continue to be punished for their mistake, or worse still, their fraudulent mistake. BUYER BEWARE!

    Why did it change?

I had been a convinced user of Red Fortera simply because it worked as advertised. But wait, there's more. For over 6 months or so the packaging stayed the same. There was a gap in delivery, and I called the support line. They explained that it was a gap in distribution that would be addressed next cycle.

I received my shipment, but the packaging was different. The directions on the back of the package had this, "Do not take more than one pill within 1 hour," and all advertisement sent with the order clearly said, "Don't take more than one pill within 24 hours."

I called the support line and told the representative about it. He said he would report it and I should throw away the shipment. What? Well, another shipment arrived, and the same thing happened. So I took the pill as directed and the experience was NOT THE SAME. In fact, the difference was a known side effect called a Niacin Rush; rapid heart, sweating, and a generally uncomfortable feeling. This was so radically different my presumption was "bait and switch" just happened.

I thought it was too good to be true and now I am sure. Be aware before you bite.

    Doesn’t work like before.

I tried the Red Fortera some months back, and it worked as advertised. Then it became unavailable at Amazon so we tried another product, which worked fairly well. When the Fortera became available again, we bought it. Tried it and NOTHING! I agree with a previous review. I think I was a victim of bait and switch, because the effect is not the same as before. In fact, there was no effect at all. Very disappointed.

I would not recommend it to anyone.

Do not even try the sample!

Horrible people. They charge you and do NOT let you cancel. I have PROOF I canceled and am STILL fighting.

I thought I would try the sample, and it has been a nightmare since! You have 72 hours to cancel before they charge you over $80. I received it with ONE day to cancel their automatic order process! Yet I did, and they said: "oh we did not get that email." My reply was "NO ONE would answer the return customer service phone, so I used YOUR other noted message."

Two months later I got another shipment, and I REFUSE the shipment and return it without opening. I thought it was from eBay, something else I ordered. I sent it back (THANK YOU USPS)! I am still fighting for a credit!

STAY AWAY and pass this along. Oh, and I have only written one other negative review in my 45 years of life. Now I have an email from them that says "I have a credit," but 40 days later it does not show on my credit card, and they REQUIRE a copy of my credit card statement to review. That is NOT standard in today's electronic world. They just play games, hoping you will go away and they keep your money! I would rate it in the MINUS if there was a choice.

    Warning, warning

I tried the "free" trial and had a violent reaction. Dizzy and vomiting. I had also just received my auto-refill. I returned the product as instructed and for the past six months I have been trying to get my refund, and after calling every few weeks, I have seen nothing.

I am a disabled vet and in need of that refund.

Beware of ordering from this company as they do not stand up for what they advertise.

I received my free sample, tried it, and all I got was the sweats and runny nose from the Cheyenne pepper. After a couple of weeks, they shipped a full box and charged me $95.00. I tried to return and would not take it back. I would stay away because this company is a scam.

Bait and switch and doesn't work

First, this product made me so sick! It raised my blood pressure to dangerous levels, and I thought I was going to have a heart attack! Second, they tell you one price and then charge you more! Third, they say you have a 10-day free trial, and they send out the next batch prior to the 10 days being up and then tell you they are going to charge you a restocking fee so you only get a partial refund. Oh, and if you don't catch the mailman to refuse delivery, they have to pay insurance to verify it gets sent back! Crazy rules to get your own money back on a so-called money back guarantee!

Save your money! It doesn’t work, makes you sick, and is impossible to get your money back.

    Bad experience!

Customer service is nonexistent, at least it is if you ask for a cancellation and refund. I emailed from the website with the order number as requested and all I got was the instant automatic response that someone would get back to me within a day or two. That never happened, so I emailed twice more requesting a cancellation. I also called two times. Within a few days a $79 charge showed up on my card, then several days later another bottle came in the mail. I called my bank as soon as the charge showed up and they canceled the card and sent me another. Otherwise, this company would probably still be charging me.

Run away from Red Fortera ad and commercial

    • By Thomas W.,

After receiving more pills that were not giving the same effect as the original free pill, I decided to pay someone to investigate my order and this company.

I found out that all the new order pills were coming in from a different source. After having the new pills tested, I was told they were garbage. Fake pills!

Remember Bob from the old male enhancement commercials? They found out that the pills were fake and not real! Unfortunately, more and more people were spending their money because of how many commercials were being produced.

Don't get caught up in the hype. Once you give them your credit card number, it will be hard to stop them from sending orders and to stop your credit card company from charging your account.

It looks like these fake pills are coming from a shipment in China, then switched to a US marketing company where they are then packaged in another format and ship to you by UPS or Amazon.

No credit is returned to you because of how many hands it goes through for exchange.

I have paid over $2,200 finding out this information as well as charges on my account.

Now I paid the cost to find this information out, and I'm giving it to everyone to read for FREE, but unfortunately, people will read this review and still give their money away to try this scam of a pill!

The question now is...will you be one of them?
