Let’s get right down to it: If the manufacturer is to be believed, Refuel Extreme can finally help you achieve your dream physique. But is this even remotely possible? Probably not, and here’s why…
What Ingredients Does Refuel Extreme Really Contain?
Most importantly, during our research, we found very big differences in the ingredients claimed to be contained in Refuel Extreme. For example, this landing page claims that the supplement contains Wild Yam Extract, Tongkat Ali, Boron, L-Arginine, Beta Alanine, Taurine, Caffeine, Green Tea, and a mix of antioxidants, glutamine peptides, amino acids, and digestive enzymes.

Unfortunately, the page above doesn’t include a supplement label, although we were able to locate one on a second landing page. However, this label reflects none of the ingredients shown in the previous landing page:

So, which one’s correct? There’s simply no way to know.
Are Refuel Extreme’s Ingredients Effective?
Regardless of which of these ingredients are actually contained in Refuel Extreme, the reality is that very few of them are likely to provide you with any meaningful benefits. For example, tongkat ali is listed as likely effective for treating male infertility, although the ingredient has no bearing on erectile dysfunction, libido, or sexual performance. On the other hand, l-arginine is likely effective for erectile dysfunction, and caffeine (including that found in green tea) may briefly help improve mental alertness.
Some positive sports performance results have been achieved in a clinical setting with beta alanine, but the study sizes have been small and the results remain inconclusive. Alpha lipoic acid may help some overweight individuals lose weight, vitamin E may help in treating dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, and the antioxidants contained in CoQ10 may provide a boosted immune system response.
However, there is insufficient clinical evidence showing that wild yam extract, boron, taurine, vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, potassium, or sodium can provide any of the benefits claimed by Refuel Extreme.
In addition to ingredients discrepancies, there are even differences in how each of these landing pages recommends taking the supplement. For example, this website indicates that you should take 2 tablets within 30 minutes of finishing your workout, while this site claims you shouldn’t exceed more than 1 capsule per day.
Are Other Consumers Pleased with Their Refuel Extreme Purchases?
Despite the fact that some of Refuel Extreme’s affiliate sites were registered more than a year ago, there weren’t any online customer reviews available at the time of our research. However, we did find one professional review through SupplementCritique who recommends avoiding it (as well as Blackline Elite) altogether.
How Refuel Extreme Convinces You to Buy
Lack of clinical evidence and legitimate customer reviews notwithstanding, keep in mind that Refuel Extreme’s landing pages will use psychology to convince you to purchase the supplement.
As we detailed in our How Weight Loss Ads Convince You to Buy article, this involves placing an image of a fit model in the upper left-hand corner, creating a sense of urgency (in the case of Refuel Extreme, this involves stating, “Limit 1 Trial Bottle Per Customer – Only 250 Trials Given Per Day” at the top of the page), and then relieving this urgency by showing you how you can get your hands on the supplement (e.g. by signing up for the trial).
Refuel Extreme Pricing & Refund Policy
Refuel Extreme is only available via a 14-day trial, for which you’ll pay $4.95 and will receive a 30-day supply of the supplement. After your trial expires, you’ll be charged $99.53 for the full price of the bottle, and will also be enrolled in the company’s autoship program. This means you’ll continue receiving a fresh supply of Refuel Extreme once every 30 days, and your credit card will be charged $99.53 each time.
Important note: As we mentioned in our What is an Autoship Program article, it’s our opinion that free trials and autoship programs are generally more about getting as much of your money as possible than they are about providing any kind of convenience. As such, we generally recommend staying away from products sold using these methods.
Outside of the 14-day trial, Refuel Extreme comes with a 30-day refund policy, less S&H charges and a $9.95 restocking fee (which does not apply to the original bottle received as part of the trial).
In order to request a refund or cancel your autoship enrollment, you’ll need to contact customer service at 888-287-7173 for an RMA.
Can Refuel Extreme Help Take Your Physique to the Next Level?
Chopping to the Point: Considering the fact that we’re not informed which ingredients Refuel Extreme actually contains or how much of the supplement should be taken per day, as well as the lack of clinical evidence showing that its ingredients can provide most of the advertised benefits, we’d recommend exploring additional options before placing your Refuel Extreme order.
