Founded in 1997 and based out of Garland, TX, SkinCeuticals manufactures high potency, pharmaceutical-grade skincare products that are intended to treat signs of aging, promote healthy skin, and prevent future damage. According to the SkinCeuticals website, their product line is based on research provided by Dr. Sheldon Pinnell, who also acts as the company’s founding scientist and chief medical advisor.
In addition to its products, the company is passionate about sharing its knowledge with the world through causes such as the Melanoma Research Alliance, and sponsorship of the Young Investigator Award. From a media perspective, SkinCeuticals has been featured in numerous industry magazines, including Elle, Allure, Good Housekeeping, Marie Claire, InStyle, and many more.
From a customer satisfaction standpoint, SkinCeuticals maintains an A- rating with the Better Business Bureau, and has only one closed complaint within the last three years. Online reviews appear to be overwhelmingly positive, with the most common complaint being the product’s high prices.

Bottom Line: Do SkinCeuticals Products Really Work?
Based on our research, most SkinCeuticals customers appear to be happy with their overall experience. The most common complaint seems to be the high price, especially when comparing its performance to lower priced items available elsewhere on the market.
However, the company has been in business for the better part of two decades and is legitimately interested in providing high quality, well-researched skincare products. As such, assuming the relatively high cost of SkinCeuticals products fits within your budget, they appear to be worth a try. Keep in mind though that not all products are going to work with all skin types, so it may take some trial and error before finding the right combination to suit your needs.

Corporate office is incompetent!
I ordered $5,000 worth of product from this company for our aesthetics office and cannot begin to tell you how many problems I ran into with just one order. After numerous issues just getting the order in, I was overcharged by $540, and they couldn't even tell me why my order was off. They also overcharged the taxes by $300.
When I canceled the order, they flat out lied to me and told me they had contacted American Express to release the $5,000 hold they had on my credit card. Now five days later they still have not released my $5,000! I cannot and will not do business with a company that treats their clients like that. There are many good skin care companies out there that treat their customers better, so please stay away from SkinCeuticals!
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have been using SkinCeuticals for about seven years. Everyone asks me what I use on my skin. I am always told I don't look my age and they can't believe it when I say my age (which is 45 now). I have used almost every product going from my 30's to my 40's and love all of them. They are worth every penny.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
