  • Best nonstick pan you can buy

Well, let me start by saying you will not be disappointed with this pan. A few years back I purchased the Emerilware cookware, set from Belk department store that cost me a lot of money. This set is suppose to have a lifetime warranty which was stated on the set. After using them for a while the two frying pans started to stick and flake off on the inside. I mailed the two pans to the company at my expense for a replacement. I receive the two pans back with a note saying that I cooked my food to hot and they would not replace them. You need to stay away from the expensive brand and go with the Slip Stone brand.

    Slip Stone Pan is nice

    • Mobile, AL,
    • Jul 13, 2015

After being kind of disappointed with the matter in which the green pan cooked eggs with minimal fat, I decided to get a slip stone pan. The Orgreenic is fine for basic cooking of the side dishes but I also wanted to make decent scrambled eggs using minimal amount of fat for my Mama who is on a special diet. The slip stone works like a beauty. It also makes fabulous hash browns and pan cakes. It's a really is a fine pan to cook with. I use it everyday.

Amazing new Slip Stone Frying pan that I recently purchased.

    • California,
    • Jul 12, 2015

A week ago I was checking new stuff at CVS Pharmacy. I saw these frying pans that had just been put on a shelf, they were attractive so I picked one up and read all the interesting things on the label. Umm I think I will get one and if it does not stand up to what they claim I will bring it right back.

When I got home it was noon so I decided to have a feast of left overs, I dumped in some stir fry mix, pot stickers, fried chicken breast and soy sauce mixed with a little apricot Fruit Only jam. The frying pan did a perfect job, I was and still am amazed.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Amazing.

I love this pan, nothing sticks! I even melted marshmallows for my Krispie Treats and they didn't stick at all. What other pan could state that? Gave one to my brother for Christmas and he loves it too! I wish they would make larger sizes because that would be a great surface for a wok. Everything they said in the ads is true. Used mine for several months and it is just as non-sick today as it was the first time. I love this pan.

This is by far the very best frying pan I have ever owned, nothing sticks to it at all. I have used it to fry everything and am really amazed how well this pan works. Wish I had a whole set of different slip stone cookware if there is such a thing. I have looked in stores and this frying pan I have was the only Slip Stone cookware I could find.

    The Greatest

    • Norco, CA,

I have owned many different cookware sets and individual cookware pans, but let me say, this is the very best type of cookware that I have ever had and cooked with. I ordered my present skillet and have ordered another one from PCH. I have been married for all most 57 years. So you have to know that I have bought and used many types of cookware in those years. There is nothing on the market today that can compare to Slip Stone Cookware. Please take my word for that.

    Slip Stone Didn't Work

    • Memphis, TN,
    • Mar 10, 2015

I Bought a slip stone pan. I bought it home and washed and dried per directions. I went ahead and heated it on the stove per directions and cooked eggs. The directions say to not use sprays or anything else like butter oil. What a it created with my eggs. No different than my iron skillet. I am taking the Slip Stone Pan right back to the store.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

  • Best ever

The best pan I have ever purchased. I can cook in it without adding any oil and everything has cooked perfectly. It cleans like a dream. A little soapy water and it's done. If they made them in other sizes, I would definitely buy them.

    Not as advertised

    • Ohio,
    • Feb 3, 2015

I can not successfully fry and flip an egg using variously low temperatures on my electric stove. I am now adding a few drops of water to the partially cooked eggs and putting a lid on to completely cook them.

I did not get any cooking advice with the pans other than use low heat and not even finding that useful yet.

Other things I have tried cooking including are fried potatoes. The chops and chicken breast take a lot longer to cook because of the extremely low temperature (no. 3 on electric stove) to keep from sticking.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Not your typical frying pan

    • Pennsylvania,
    • Jan 10, 2015

I bought mine at CVS for $10. I just used it to make a fried egg sandwich with cheese. I cooked the egg and then placed the cheese on top and let it melt. Some of the cheese ran down onto the pan surface but lo and behold, it wiped right off with no issue. Also, did not use any butter or oil and nothing stuck. So, it definitely works. As far as long term durability, that remains to be seen.

One more point of interest: the care and use instructions explicitly state to use a non-abrasive sponge to clean the pan and non-metal utensils to prolong the life of the non-stick coating. Ironically, the commercial claims this pan can take all sorts of abuse and still perform like new.

Last but not least, cook using low to medium heat only, high heat may cause damage to the non-stick coating.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
