    Real or fraud.

    I placed order in April or March 2014. Got a back order notice. Later got a card for cancelation or wait. I opted to wait. When I ordered I was required to give my credit card information. It is now July and still no Spicy Shelf.

    However, my latest credit card statement shows purchase of airline tickets that I did not make. This is the only company that has online credit card authorization from me. I am quite concerned and am considering fraud investigation.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      The original delivery estimate stated on the website was 4-6 weeks. We obliviously missed that target by a long shot. This is a brand new product and they seriously underestimated the high response and how long it was going to take to get manufacturing up in full production mode. Quality is of utmost importance. We want to produce a product you will be happy with. We didn't want to ship until the product met our strict standards. We now have multiple factories up and running in full production mode. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We hope you are happy with Spicy Shelf once you receive it. We appreciate your interest in our new product. Once again, thank you for your patience.

      Our fulfillment sent is a very secure processing center. Unauthorized charges on your card would not have come from them. I personally checked into your order and for some reason it is showing pending RA (credit card authorization). Customer service is looking into why.     Worst Excuse for Customer Service Ever.

    Placed an order on March 9 and never received. This is the end of June and after numerous phone calls and excuses from their customer service, they informed me my order has been canceled because I didn't respond to some supposed card that was sent to me again, something else I never received and why would I? Everything was done online. I was told order was reinstated and I would have it within two weeks and again, nothing.

    Called again this morning and was told my order was canceled and when I told her I was told it was reinstated two weeks ago, she said, oh that's impossible. We can't do that. I am done. I am reporting this ridiculous excuse for a "company" to Better Business Bureau and my advice is do not order. Product may be fine, but these folks have no idea what they're doing and can guarantee they will end up out of business.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      Cynthia, I personally checked on your order and customer service replied with this "account is showing two delay cards going out and canceled at the 2nd no response" If you call the customer service line @ 866-343-4001 you can reactivate or place an order again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

      I NEVER received any cards. Hard to say if that is the company or the USPS, but considering everything that has happened. I did, however, receive an email from the inventor of the product with her explanation as to what had happened since she licensed her product to someone else to manufacture, and apparently she was able to get my two shelves sent to me. They have been installed and are a decent product. Hopefully, she has the manufacturer and customer service call center problems resolved but I certainly can't speak to that.

    Company excuses

    I ordered two of these in February, 2014. It is now June 2014 and I still haven't seen these shelves. every time I call they say it on back order and essentially I will get them when they get them. Each time I call its "will be a couple more weeks", today its still a couple more weeks. I no longer believe what they have to say. If you want them in normal time just don't bother to order.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Bad service

    I placed an order of 5 Spicy Shelves on March 10, 2014 and still haven't received my order. I have called the customer service department a few times and they keep pushing back the shipping date stating "we didn't expect the product to be so high in demand, so they are still on back order." I have been told four different shipping dates. Today is April 29th and they now projected for me to receive my order at "the end of May." They finally sent me an email April 25th offering a $10 discount for the delay in the order. They do not charge your card until the order ships. Hopefully the product will be worth this long wait. I originally ordered this for three birthday gifts and for myself.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      FRUSTRATED,

      I actually ordered mine on the same exact date as you and still showing status as "in process". I received a postcard in the mail stating that is would ship approximately 5/13/14. Still has not shipped. I am ready to cancel my order.

      Same here, I ordered back in March and also received a card saying it would ship 5/13. I also notice that the Facebook page no longer allows comments. I can't believe the demand is THAT high, they must be having a manufacturing problem.

      NOT A HAPPY CAMPER,

      Yep and you're going to continue to wait. I ordered around the same time, got the same answer and today may 27th rec'd another card without a date of when to expect my order to be shipped. As far as Facebook they may not have a place for comments but I just put one on one of their feel good postings in all caps. forget about calling, it's a constant hold with boring music and the same generic message, please continue to hold.

      I don't work for the company, but I know the finished product has only been in production a short time, and only available for regular shipping for maybe a month. This is a brand New product. With that in mind, it's not exactly accurate to say it's taken since March for an order to ship since it wasn't even in production yet in March, a fact made clear on Kickstarter. Those were not exactly orders, either, they were donations with a thank you gift attached.

    I Love it!

    I received this as a gift and I love it. We have a lot of spices in different sized jars, and this works wonders in our narrow cabinet. We removed one of the shelves, stacked Spicy Shelf, and it's great. Everything is accessible.

    Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I agree, It's a scam

    I went to their website to order the product, and when I realized the shipping would be $15.95 for one spicy shelf, I tried to cancel, did not submit the order. But they charged my card anyway and I am still waiting after two weeks to receive it. Go to Amazon or a store to buy it if you really want it.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Just placed order yesterday

    Did not receive order yet, but got a call from my credit card company about fraudulent charges that posted to the credit card I used after I ordered. Coincidence? Maybe. Just letting you know what happened to me.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Not worth it

    My cabinets are 22" wide therefore there were not enough extensions to be able to use the 2 shelves one above the other. Making this a waste of money.

    Buyer beware

    I was interested in the product especially with the "2 for 1" offer, so I went online to place the order. I soon learned that you are required to provide your credit card information BEFORE you find out the total "Shipping and Handling" charges. That results in you paying more than the normal price for the two items, plus the shipping and handling is added.

    Now comes the real problem: There's no way to cancel the order and they already have your credit card information. They charge your card and ship out (1 shelf, not the two you were trying to price) without you actually placing the order.

    When I received a package from them, it took 4 months to sort out the fraudulent charge with my credit card company.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Great Spicy shelves but needs a center back support when fully extended.

    I bought 3 sets for my wife. We love them and it really does free up space and organize things. In our smaller medicine cabinets, they work fine as is.

    But in our larger and wider spice cabinet I fully extended them with the included extensions using the current shelf brackets. I did not use the included feet and it fit great. The only problem is that when fully extended they sagged with the weight of the spices.

    It was an easy fix by going to the hardware store and getting a common white metal shelf bracket strip and 2 shelf brackets and securing them on the back wall of the shelf. Someone posted using a screw into the back wall to support center when fully extended.

    We love them and are buying some for relatives for Christmas.

    Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Good Product

    I read some poor reviews about this product but my husband bought it so we decided to put it together and try it out. We were pleasantly surprised! It was not difficult to put together, it is a sturdy product and it fit into the cupboard perfectly. It held all of my spices in an organized fashion as it is advertised to do so. I love it!

    Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
