Poor quality, overpriced

Very poor quality dress; bad material and poorly made (uneven cut, threads sticking out everywhere, belt doesn't tie because it's very short). Overpriced! Looks very cheap and nothing like on the beautiful photos that they advertise. Very disappointed! Will never buy again.

Think before you buy

The company is shipping like they are in the US, but if you want to return you will have to ship to China at your own expense. The cheapest way to ship it is around $23. Think before you buy. If you suspect that you might want to return it, see if it is worth it.

Poor quality

Looks nothing like the picture. Fit and proportions are all wrong. Says easy returns, but that is a lie. Returns are all but easy. Very poor quality. Received run-around for a return. Highly overpriced.

Beware of return policy

I ordered two items from StyleWe, according to their detailed sizing info, and neither one fits properly, after taking almost one month to arrive.

I attempted to return the items within the 30-day return period and received an initial email informing me that the return center was in China, I was responsible for all international shipping and customs fees, and that the return process could be lengthy. They offered to refund me 15% of the total purchase in cash or 20% of the total purchase for in-store credit if I kept the items (suggesting that this stipend could be used to alter the garments).

I spoke with friends who turned me on to StyleWe and found out that they returned items to a CA address. I sent StyleWe another email requesting a return label to California and was told that only "members" could ship returns to a US address. Since I wasn't a "member," my return had to go to China. After threatening to dispute the entire charge, they did make an "exception" and sent me a California return label.

Outright fraud! No mention anywhere on the website or in the return policy that the company is in China. No mention anywhere that returns must be sent back to China. No mention anywhere that you have to be a "member" to be able to return items to the US return center. No mention anywhere of how you attain "member" status. No mention anywhere of international shipping and customs fees on returns, simply that "you are responsible for return shipping cost."

Intentionally omitting the above information is nothing short of deception and fraud. I would have rated a "0" but that option was not available.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Dishonest company

I ordered from StyleWe. There was no mention anywhere on the website that the company was located in China. I would NEVER have ordered the dress if I had known this.

The dress was badly cut, the shoulders were too big, and the armholes too small. The material was poor quality.

I decided to return it. It took a long time for the company to respond. The company requested tracking, but sending the dress with tracking would have cost me half the cost of the dress (about $40). By the way, there was no tracking when THEY sent me the dress. I printed the address they sent me and shipped the dress through the post office.

Now StyleWe says they never received the dress and REFUSE to refund me! So now I paid $84 for the dress, $27 to return it, and I have nothing.

DO NOT buy from this company!

Returns

I tried to return my items that were of terrible quality only to discover that I must return to CHINA. The cost of the return may be more than the actual items that I purchased. They offered me 15% refund, and I get to keep the crappy clothes. I talked them into 30% and feel like I was "HAD." Nowhere on their website return policy that I could find states anything about China only "easy returns."

I will never buy from this group again! I will denote my items to Goodwill.

Don't buy!

I bought 7 items through this site, and once I saw it was through China, I got very worried. I contacted the email address that was through PayPal. The email address is tksforpay@hotmail.com. They said the dresses would fit and so against my better judgment, I ordered 3 out of the 7 items.

When the items arrived, I was not satisfied. In fact, they were terrible. So I contacted the company, and they said they would not refund me for the items I didn’t receive until they got their dresses back. I sent the dresses back USPS priority mail for $75. It was attempted to be delivered but not accepted on September 28th.

I then reached out to them on the email address they were communicating with me on which was different from the PayPal email. This email was service@classyin.com. First, they asked me to call their post office in China. I told them that's ridiculous, pick up your package! They said they would call the post office and get the package.

It has now been 13 days, and I tried emailing them on the service@classyin.com, and it won’t go through. They have now closed down that email address. They are working under many names and email addresses. I have a case into PayPal and am confident I will get my money back, but it has been so frustrating!

This is a scam company. There are all kinds of bad reviews about them. I just want my money back. I have also filed a dispute with Discover card so I will get my money back one way or another. Please file a dispute with PayPal because the more they get they said they will kick this company off. What a scam!

Brutal return policy

I loved the dress I ordered, but needed to return it for a smaller size. It will cost more than the dress is worth to return. I'll never order from this site again. What a shame that their return/exchange policy can't be more customer friendly regardless of where you're located!

Do not buy!

The item didn't fit right so they said I could return but the truth is, you can't ever return the item because they tell you that you have to return it to CHINA and pay shipping cost plus any customs fees! Then they say, "we will refund 15% to you or give you a 20% store credit!"

DO NOT buy from these ridiculous people!

Bad return policies

It is ridiculous that I have to email them and then wait 24 hours (which in my case was 48) for them to OK and give me the directions on how to return the item I didn't want. Then I have to pay to have it shipped back to China. All within 30 days? This company is a complete joke.

Do not buy from this company - a rip off!

I ordered a sweater from StyleWe. It was too big, so I wanted to send it back. Their printed policy indicates that you have 30 days to return your item - just follow their easy instructions!

Well, I got the instructions. You, the customer, are responsible to pay for shipping the item back to GUANGZHOU, CHINA + custom's fees. (Note that the item was shipped to me from the U.S.). They tell you that this international return cost will be so substantial and take so long that instead, you might want to take a 15% cash refund or 20% off towards another item that you might want to purchase from them in the future. So, I'd get $15 back from the $100 item I purchased? NO THANKS!

Be suspicious of the 4 and 5 star reviews about this company. I believe they must be fake. Who would give such positive reviews to a company with a return policy like this?

Misleading return policy, horrible quality

I purchased a dress recently from StyleWe. The dress was cheaply made and did not fit properly, so I started the return process.

I had checked the return policy before purchasing, and the website states that the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. The company does not give any indication that they aren't located in the US, and the shipping cost to get the item to me was $11, so I assumed that the return shipping cost would be similar.

It turns out that in order to get a refund, I would have to ship the dress to China, which would cost over $50 by the cheapest UPS method. I checked, and the StyleWe website does not state anywhere that the customer will be required to pay return shipping back to China. It's obvious that they are intentionally hiding this piece of information from their customers.

Now I'm stuck with a crappy dress that I will never wear, and I will have to forfeit the $85 that I spent on it, because I don't trust this company to issue me a refund, even if I spend $50 shipping the dress back to them. I will NEVER order from this company again!

Horrible experience

The online photos of the clothes looked good, and the sizing tips seemed to ensure being able to get the best fit. NOT THE CASE! The fits were varied, and the materials used were not good quality.

I didn't mind because the return policy indicated return or exchange were both options as long as the tags were still on and the clothes not worn. HOWEVER, as soon as you try to return or exchange they start making deals with you to keep the clothes and not send them back if they "partially credit" your credit card or include a "partial merchandise" credit.

The reason is you are shipping these items back to CHINA at a ridiculous cost! They don't want the clothes back, they want to catch you between a rock and hard place with it costing more to ship/return the items than you can imagine. For example, I took my returns to the post office the other day, and they were quoting me over $100 for the basic shipping! But StyleWe would only offer me first a 30% store credit or 25% refund. In the end, they only increased the credits to a 35% store credit and 30% refund. NOT ACCEPTABLE!

So in summary, nice website but lousy quality and sizes and horrific return policy.

Horrible. Poor quality and customer service. Scam of a company.

First of all, where are all the negative reviews?

I recommend that no one order from this company. The quality was ok, but the sizing is way off in the guidelines set by measurements when ordering. After it arrives the American size is on there, but not before, and it is significantly smaller then I wear.

The biggest problem is returns and customer service.

You can only reach them by email despite there being an American phone number. When you call, it's a recording that says to email. While they do get back to your emails, it's often a different person each time, and they don't know what the other is talking about.

I returned 8 items totaling approximately $500. I had to pay $78 to return, which I realized after the fact that the company is in China. It does not say this anywhere on the website or in the return policy. They make the returns look easy.

After the date of arrival passed, I followed up with the company. They said the package was not there. We then (I did) tracked it to a location in China, which is allegedly customs. The representative continued to say they would not pay me back unless I paid to get the package out of customs. For days they never told me how much. Finally, they wrote saying "about $200." Now is it $200 or "about" $200? And they provided nothing in writing. They just said for me to put $200 in their PayPal and then I would receive my refund. They also continued to offer me credit refund but no money refund.

I find it extremely bad business in this day and age to just tell someone a fee, provide no supports and then ask for money to go into a pay pal account. Extremely questionable practice. Their mission is to get you to keep the merchandise and take a small stipend towards credit in their business. They make no mention of China until it's time for you to do the return after you fill out their return form that is followed by the label. You get an automated email back with suggestions not to return and the difficulty of it and expense of mailing to China. That is the first notice of China, but by now it's too late.

Again, they do not discuss customs or anything related to that at that time. And now they say that they advise that you not value items at over $150. Well, first of all, I saw that nowhere, and second of all, why would I say I have less than I do? That's lying and deceitful. But I suppose that's what this company is all about. Lying and deceit.

Worst online shopping experience ever

This was my experience.

I bought some items over the Black Friday weekend, precisely, Saturday. The deal was $100 off $550, and then extra 20% for the first time using the app.

Three days later, I get an email stating that one of the items I purchased was out of stock, however, I would be allowed to pick another item that was within 15% of the original price of the coat I picked.

The initial cost was $80.75, I got a 20% discount and additional $10 off, which then totaled $54.

The replacement coat I picked was $84, so I thought that I would be given the same deal I got initially; $84, plus 20% discount and $10 dollars off, which would equal $57.

No, they wanted me to pay $21. When I asked them to give me the calculation, they said that was the difference. Their calculation was $54 x $1.15 equals $63. And $84 minus $63 dollars equals $21.

I got frustrated about the transaction in general, and when I asked for a refund for my purchase, I was told that I would be charged a 15% cancellation fee because I am trying to cancel more than 24 hours after the initial purchase.

Bear in mind that they did not inform me about not having the product until 72 hours after, later, and it was from their end about advertising a product and letting me buy it when it was not in stock

Basically, I'm an avid online shopper, however, this has scarred me from online shopping.

Huge scam!

Their return policy clearly states customer is responsible for return shipping. I get that. But, what is not listed ANYWHERE on their site is that the return shipping requires you to ship the item back to China and pay above and beyond normal shipping costs (customs fees, etc.).

I purchased 3 dresses and once they arrived realized that 2 of them didn’t fit. I contacted customer service and was informed that I was responsible for return shipping fees. Here is where it gets interesting.

A return anywhere in the US would be acceptable, however, their merchandise needs to be returned to China and customers are also responsible for customs fees. In other words, returning anything at all would cost you an exorbitant amount of money, making it not worthwhile, something this company is clearly banking on.

I wrote a review on another site and was contacted by StyleWe and asked to delete my review in exchange for a US return label (suddenly they have a US warehouse). I will not do that and lose the money instead because I feel it is important to alert consumers.

Total scam - buyer beware

I wish I could give this retailer a zero rating.

I purchased more than $100 worth of clothing from StyleWe. I was shocked to receive clothing that was poorly designed, of inferior quality and not sized for the American consumer. I usually take a size 8 and ordered an XL item, and the garment didn't even fit my size 4 daughter.

I tried to return the items. I was offered a discount by StyleWe to keep them. I was even told if I tried to return them, it wouldn't be "good for me." I had to pay $30+ shipping back to China and I lodged a complaint through PayPal, my payment of choice.

Tonight, I was advised by PayPal that my US Customs Documents and US postal receipt were not enough proof of shipment. I am now out $130.00+ as StyleWe will not refund me, either.

A total scam. Buyer beware.

Ripped off by StyleWe

I just made a purchase of three items from StyleWe, and in a couple of days they figured out that one of the items was out of stock (why didn't their inventory system provide this information before not after I ordered?). But now they are trying to refund me ONLY the discounted price that is $8 less than the original price that I paid for this item. So they are trying to steal $8 from me for doing absolutely nothing other than misreporting an item being available and in stock when it was not in stock.

Plus, some of their clothing is cheaply made and I have had to return unwearable clothing items that were (1) too sheer to be worn in public and (2) poorly stitched. Plus the shipping from China takes weeks, and the customer has to pay for returns by themselves. This is a scam, and I am never buying from this company again.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Lying, disgusting customer service, scammers!

Don’t ever, ever buy anything from StyleWe! Their customer service is horrible! On their website, it says it will take 3-5 days to process the order. However, their items somehow are out of stock and they will not contact you whatsoever to tell you that your order is out of stock and kept you waiting for weeks! So I contacted them to see what happened. I ordered 4 items total, and they told me one of the items is still waiting for inventory. Since I waited for so long they will ship my item in Express mail once it’s ready (without any charge). Ok, I trusted them.

A few days later I asked them "ok, can you please ship the 3 items that are ready to be shipped to me first?" Since I really needed this winter coats for my business trip I don’t have anything to wear for this cold weather except for these I have ordered a month priority to my trip. They said "ok."

The next thing I received is an email saying ONE of my items have shipped only! And on top of that, it shipped first class mail, which takes at least 12 days since it’s international. They did not keep their words about shipping it EXPRESS! Ridiculous!

When I contacted them at first, they said 3 of the items are ready to be shipped, and now I only see one. So I don’t understand what the heck is going on. Then I contacted them about it and I get no response WHATSOEVER!

So please everyone BEWARE of this website called StyleWe. This will be my first and my last ordering from here. I’m writing this to let everyone that is going to order from them know to seriously beware!

StyleWe, I hope any of all of you get to see this. Very disappointed! And it’s disgusting that all of you are lying to your customers!

Order never arrived

The clothes are poor in quality, and the size is smaller in size, but the prices are affordable. However, the first time I ordered it took a long time to arrive. I had to continuously make an attempt for them to send the items. However, when I ordered the second time, they would not send the items after continuous reports of the missing items. One response was the item was on the way, and the second time they reported that I had not paid for these items. However, funds were taken out of my checking account.

I never had this happen in my life with other companies. There is a problem with tracking, and you can’t reach a person to talk to about a problem with the order.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Disappointed experience

Whilst some of the clothing depicted on this site looks appealing, the clothes when received are of poor material quality and cut.

The sizing is not in accordance with those recommended by StyleWe; some are huge, others are small.

Returns to this company, whilst complying with all advice regarding their return policy, this company FAILS TO REFUND MONEY PAID within a reasonable time. I am still waiting for a refund after approximately two months. VERY POOR and certainly NOT INDUCIVE to making further purchases from this company.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We recommend you use a "Size Chat" to better determine your ideal size, because sizing varies between our items.

Size chat with details the product's measurement is included on each item page. As a note, there are measurements for the item itself. You can compare these measurements to similar pieces you already own.

Clothing that NEVER ships

On November 30, 2017, I placed an order. Today is January 2, 2018, and it still hasn't shipped. Every time I contacted the "company," I was fed a different story and at each turn, told that it would ship within 24 hours. Well, those 24 hours never happened.

The main narrative has been that the item is on backorder. Yet, when I visit the site, it's showing as in stock. Another narrative of theirs is that the holidays caused a spike in demand that the warehouse couldn't accommodate. Yet, there is no messaging to that effect. The only conclusion that can be drawn is that they take your money whether or not they can ever offer you what you paid for. In their case, NOT!

As I write this review, I'm told that it's being shipped expedited, but I get to carry the cost. Did I EVER ask for expedited shipping? NO, I did not.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Beware!

So, I ordered a dress, which was not cheap, and boxed it up for my wife at Christmas. She opened the box on Christmas Day, I picked up the dress and held it for her to see, and she immediately said, “no, that’s just not right for me." I had misjudged whether she would like it. So, I personally take the dress, box it up and send it back. I did not ask for a refund, just store credit. My wife never tried the dress on, or really even held it.

When I inquired about my store credit, here’s what they said: "we cannot give you a refund because your dress has a strong smell of perfume." How insulting. It’s insulting to my intelligence. Can’t they come up with a better reason for such a scheme? I boxed it. And I don’t wear cologne. It absolutely had no “strong“ smell of anything!

Do yourself a favor, and stay away from these people. These kinds of things are the way they make their money. I suppose they will do anything they can to save on shipping costs, either to and from China.

Unwearable dress, fake address given for expensive return. BEWARE.

In August 2017, I purchased a $79 dress on StyleWe in a moment of late night weakness against my better judgment. When I received it, it was extremely ill-fitting; cut so cheaply and poorly in the neck and armholes that I couldn't even shimmy into it, and there were no zippers either (and I am petite and thin, and ordered an XS, the appropriate size).

I was dismayed to realize that this was a Chinese startup with unvetted customer service, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and proceeded with a return. They provided me a label with their address on it: Runfa Xu (StyleWe), etc. in Guangdong China (TEL: +86(020)66694591.

And I paid $22.75 for the international postage.

Well, this return that I sent using THEIR printed label, was returned to my mailbox today after having traveled to China and back with a note saying "invalid address."

What a waste of $100! Never again! Well, in 2018, this company at least still has scam status in my book.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
