About Testro T3

Billed as a maximum-strength performance enhancer for men, Testro T3 promises mind-blowing results using its specialized formula. Results include a boost in testosterone levels, increased sex drive, improved muscle growth, and maximized size “in every way.” When taken for at least 90 days, the company claims you’ll also experience sharper mental focus, boosted stamina, and increased amounts of fat loss.

For men of all ages, the promises made above will probably sound attractive, but can the product deliver? In order to determine what you can actually expect, let’s start by taking a look at the basics of testosterone.

What Is Testosterone?

In the simplest terms, testosterone is the main male sex hormone. The vast majority is bound to sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), but a small amount exists as bioavailable “free” testosterone.

Because of its central role, it has many jobs to do, including but not limited to determining and regulating bone density and overall strength, muscle mass, hair growth, sex drive, and sperm production.

But for anyone dealing with a low T count—anything below 250 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL), Healthline lists that the following adverse effects could occur:

  • decreased sex drive
  • less energy
  • weight gain
  • feelings of depression
  • moodiness
  • low self-esteem
  • less body hair
  • thinner bones

If you’re experiencing lower-than-normal levels (which can be determined by a simple blood test your doctor can administer), you may qualify for testosterone replacement therapy. This usually takes the form of oral medications, injections, and even gel patches that can be placed on the skin directly.

During our research, we found that various authoritative groups such as The American Heart Association, the US Preventive Services Task Force, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the National Institutes of Health all cumulatively agree that, barring a deficiency in any particular ingredient, there’s no medically-sound reason necessitating the use of supplements, whether from Testro T3 or otherwise.

Put more bluntly, the Cleveland Clinic states that “There are currently no pills available in the United States that provide adequate levels of hormone replacement.” Keeping the advice of these groups in mind, let’s refocus on the Testro T3 formula in order to better understand what it might do for you in practice.

Testro T3 Formula Ingredients

On the product’s main web page, we aren’t shown any comprehensive list of ingredients, so we reached out to customer service, who informed us that it includes the following four substances:

  • L-arginine
  • Maca root
  • Maritime pine
  • Yohimbe extract

Despite this, the agents we spoke to were unable to provide any dosage or concentration amounts for these ingredients. Without this crucial piece of information, it can be very difficult to determine how likely you are to experience any of the proposed benefits described in the sections above. Having said that, what do authoritative sources have to say about these substances?

According to information gathered from WebMD, Examine.com, and Healthline, taking five grams of L-arginine daily may be helpful for combating erectile dysfunction, and maritime bark contains a chemical known as pycnogenol that may improve mental function by some amount.

However, none of these sites report sufficient clinical evidence supporting the ability of these ingredients to boost testosterone levels, improve muscle growth, or increase sex drive in general, as claimed on the Testro T3 website.

Potential Testro T3 Side Effects

As mentioned above, without knowing how much of the included ingredients are found in the Testro T3 formula, it’s also very difficult to predict how likely you are to experience any potentially adverse effects when using the product.

That said, according to WebMD and Drugs.com, L-arginine and maritime pine both may cause several minor effects, such as abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, gout, blood abnormalities, allergies, airway inflammation, worsening of asthma, dizziness, gut problems, headache, mouth ulcers, and low blood pressure. No threshold dosages were provided.

Though Maca seems to be well tolerated by most individuals, WebMD lists that yohimbe, when taken by mouth, may be unsafe. It is linked to reports of severe side effects such as irregular or rapid heartbeat, kidney failure, seizure, heart attack, “and others.” Again, no specifics or dosages were listed.

If you ever have concerns about potential side effects or drug interactions, it’s never a bad idea to visit with your doctor before taking any new supplement for the first time.

Testro T3 Pricing & Return Policy

As of this writing, Testro T3 was only available online, as part of a free trial program. This means that when checking out, you’ll be asked to pay just $4.95 for a month’s worth of the supplement. That said, the terms listed on the checkout page indicate that on the 15th day after your initial purchase, you’ll be billed the full amount of $89.95 and enrolled in the company’s autoship program.

This means that you’ll be continually billed this price each month in exchange for a new bottle of Testro T3. You can cancel this program before the end of the trial to avoid these fees, but the terms emphasize that refunds are unavailable after the trial ends.

In order to end your trial or stop your recurring shipments, the manufacturer can be reached at 844-688-6199 or contact@biogenicxr.com.

Our Advice on Purchasing a Testosterone-Boosting Supplement Like Testro T3

Bringing everything that we’ve learned about Testro T3 into focus, can you truly expect it to deliver on its main claims? After all, ABC News reports that one in four men over the age of 30 suffer from low testosterone, so it seems the supplement has an eagerly-awaiting customer base.

As we learned above, unless you are deficient in a particular ingredient, taking any kind of dietary supplement—those advertised as raising testosterone levels or otherwise—isn’t necessary, according to the sources like Nutrition.gov and the National Institutes of Health (to name just a couple).

And even if they were shown to be necessary, according to the Cleveland Clinic, products sold in the US over-the-counter like Testro T3 simply don’t provide adequate hormone replacement to deliver on common manufacturer claims of increased sex drive or maximized penis size, whether related to length or girth.

Addressing the product in question directly, none of the ingredients found in its formula were shown by WebMD, Examine.com, or Healthline to hold clinical links to their ability to increase testosterone levels in the body, or increase muscle growth in general. In addition, we learned that one of the ingredients, yohimbe, holds some potentially severe negative side effects.

When you couple this information with the inability to return the product after the initial trial window, we feel that a better first step may be to pay a visit to your doctor to discuss your options directly, since low testosterone could potentially represent a serious underlying condition. Doing so, you’re more than likely be able to arrive at a solution that works safely not just for now, but in the long run as well.
