The website claims that their tuxedos are comparable to $1200 tuxedos on the market, but this could not be farther from the truth. If anything, the tuxedo is worth no more than $200. I am extremely disappointed in the quality and fit, and would never recommend them to anyone. One positive is that the customer service is responsive and will attempt to replace your size, however, they have no ability to improve the quality or tailored fit of the tuxedo.

This company, like many online corporations today, is supremely efficient and easy to place your order online. It's cool to have it delivered right to your house or destination, too. But the quality of the suit is extremely lacking, and I had the misfortune of needing an adjustment in size. Instead of the ability to go into a store to have the fitting evaluated and adjusted if necessary, I was forced to try it on and request a replacement, for which I was charged $40 to receive. I recognize there is a free replacement if you respond within 48 hours with an issue, but due to the nature of my pastoral and wedding officiant work, I am sometimes away for days and was unable to make my request in time.

Given the financial abuse coupled with the subpar quality of the actual suit, it is extremely unlikely that I will utilize this service again, and as a wedding officiant myself I have to highly recommend readers as well as my future couples to avoid it as well.

Overall, the suit fit nice. It was a pretty good experience getting the suit and just letting it guess the measurements worked out well. However, the biggest downfall was that the suit was ridiculously wrinkled! Thankfully someone had a steamer, but all the groomsmen and groom had to steam their suits the day of the wedding, which was not convenient.

I was totally freaking out when I found out we were going to rent the Wedding tuxes online through the mail. Let me tell you, it was so easy! Painless really! The staff on the phone is very helpful when you call. If you need another size, you shall receive right away. It is just as easy to mail back. Any questions on the return side just call, and they will guide you as well. Just drop off at a FedEx location, and you're done. I would definitely order from this company again for my men.

Almost everything went well with my rental. It was easy to use the site and order with Tux. My original tuxedo needed some adjustments, and the customer service was great. I received my new tuxedo that fit perfectly within just a couple days. The only complaints I have are that I had my tux pressed which was an additional expense. Also, my first tuxedo came to my apartment on a day of a rainstorm. Whoever delivered it left it in the backyard uncovered and the box got warped and some of the things inside were wet or damp. Since the box was warped. I got a few new things. I had to ship the second order separately since not everything fit in the first box and I had to pay for that. Otherwise, I thought my experience was good. I would use this service again and recommend it.

A very cool premise and easy-to-use site. Be sure to order early and try on immediately. Of nine people (eight groomsmen and groom), one did not have to request a different sized jacket. Also, it would be helpful if the size of the clothes were listed on the clothes.

My good friend from graduate school got married recently. His bride-to-be set up everything via The Black Tux and all we had to do was input our sizes by clicking the mouse button. Very easy service to use. Their customer service was great. Nice shipping box to receive and return your items. The tux felt and looked great. The only complaint - bow tie option might be offered (pre-done), I know not everyone can TIE a bow tie.

This company is wonderful! My son's tux was on back order and the tux was delayed in getting here. I emailed and the same night they emailed me back and the tux was here two days later.

Renting a tux is generally a painful and expensive experience. This was neither of those. I went through the process, picked out my tux and punched in my sizes. A few weeks later I got an email suggesting a different size with the guarantee that if they were advising me the wrong size Black Tux, the folks could get me the right size pronto (and before my event). They were correct on the size and the tux ended up fitting perfectly. The customer service throughout was great!

We ordered charcoal suits for the groom, all the groomsmen, and our dads for our wedding last month. We did the wedding trial to sneak peek the fit/quality/color of the suit we wanted and loved it. When everybody from the party got their tuxes (shipped to their homes, a week before the wedding), there was only 1 sizing issue. We called in and had a new jacket for the groom within two days. All the guys agreed that is was way easier than making trips to a tux shop to get fitted, especially since our guys lived all over the place in different states. No trip to the tux shop before and after the wedding day, too.

Ever gone through the horrible experience of discovering your friend found a suit for you to rent from Men's Wearhouse so you could participate in his wedding? I've gone through it several times, and it's outlandishly expensive, no chance at a nice, modern fit or true custom tailoring, and did I mention expensive?

I recently participated in a wedding where the groom chose black tux instead. What a breath of fresh air. The website is easy to use, and gives you literally anything you could want or need to ensure you're requesting your perfect size, right down to shipping you a tape measure for free.

They don't do half sizes, but it'll still fit better than the only other rental alternative in the wedding game. I also saw in a previous review the complaint that their 'sizing experts' may change your size, this is a completely optional service and if you read all the check boxes as you fill in your sizes, you can easily where to click to keep them from possibly doing this.

When you get your order, it's similar to unpacking an iPod: everything in its place and a place for everything, even including a shipping label and tape to seal up the box for its return.

My tux fit great, even better than the suit I wore for my own wedding, and I got a free pair of socks.

In case you're still on the fence, I recently rented yet another wedding outfit from Men's Wearhouse: pants, vest, and shoes cost about $50 more than a better looking and more convenient whole tuxedo from The Black Tux.
