The quality of the actual clothes was good, on par with any other rental company I've done business with. EXCELLENT. The quality is unparalleled. My jaw dropped when I saw my groom. It can't compare to any other rental place. They are always there to answer questions and are extremely helpful! The guys seriously looked like they were out of a magazine and were getting complimented all night! The tuxes fit like a glove, and you could tell they were extremely well made. The Black Tux was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend them for any bride or groom who wants a simple and easy rental process.

At first, one of our primary reasons for choosing them was because they offered the specific shade of blue that we were looking for, but we are so glad we ended up with them! Our five groomsmen all lived in different states and they were all able to just put in their measurements and rent their individual suites based on the complete outfits that were pre-chosen by us!

The prices were also very reasonable to suit varying budgets. We loved that we could see where each of the groomsmen were in the process, whether they had submitted their measurements or paid for their suit as yet so that it was one less thing to focus on during wedding planning.

When my husband received his suit, his pants were a little tighter around the waist than he’d wanted and The Black Tux’s customer service was phenomenal. Their website is so user-friendly, and we were able to get the correct pants in just a few days, plenty of time to spare for the wedding!

The quality of the suits was absolutely fantastic, one of the groomsmen even said he didn’t want to return it because he loved it so much! It was also wonderful that they gave us three days to return the suit after the wedding because some other companies only give one day.

I was honestly very skeptical about renting a suit to wear, especially because I knew I wouldn't be able to try it on until the day before the wedding due to a personal situation. The customer service I received off the bat was phenomenal with their size recommendations and their attempt to send the suit overseas for me to try on before the event. The suit fit is extremely well for not having it tailored.

I was going to a New Year's Eve Gatsby-themed party, so I needed a tux. After visiting a couple of local shops, I didn't really see anything I liked, so I went online after hearing about The Black Tux.

I loved the styles, especially the oddball Gray Melange, which, while not exactly 1920s-appropriate, was totally eye-catching and unique. I placed my order and was happy to know that if anything was wrong, they'd quickly work to fix it before my event.

The tux arrived within the week, but the jacket was a bit too big. So I went back online to see what could be done to get a smaller size. A couple of clicks and a new one was on the way. I didn't even have to send the bigger one back right away; I could just send everything all at once.

The same box, label included, even extra tape to close it back up. Super simple.

And the tux itself? Smokin'! I got tons of comments and compliments (from both sexes). I would totally recommend and use again if needed.

Our groomsmen live in three different states. The Black Tux was the easiest and most cost-efficient way to keep everyone on the same page.

The suits were great quality, and the customer service team went above an beyond to make sure each suit fit just right. My son told me about The Black Tux when I mentioned I was going to my granddaughter's wedding and was going to need a new suit. He said since I had semi-retired, I had not worn a suit except for funerals in 12 years.

About two or three months before the wedding, I got on the internet to The Black Tux, sent my measurements, after talking to the gentleman from where I use to buy suits. When the pants and coat arrived two weeks before the wedding, I tried them on and the pants fit perfect, but the coat was way too big. He said with age, I had lost weight and my frame had gotten smaller.

I reached The Black Tux with the measurements needed for the coat and received it in two days. Their instructions were if the sleeves were too long to take to a tailor and have them re-hem to the right length and I would be reimbursed $15 per hemmed item.

The wedding went off without a hitch, and I put my pants and coat in the return box later and took to FedEx. When I returned home, my wife said you forgot the coat, and I told her they were both in the box. She said the coat they sent first, that did not fit, is right here. I called The Black Tux and talked to a lady by the name of Orule and explained what I had done and she quickly said no problem. She sent me a return FedEx by email and also there would be no charge for being late since it would be over three days before they received it.

I can truthfully say that the suit fit perfect, there were no problems that were not resolved, they did more than they agreed to do, the person that I talked to and emailed were most gracious and I definitely will use The Black Tux again.

Very smooth system. Somehow everything fit without having to hem or send back. Stuff looked good and showed up early enough for comfort. Clothes seemed like high quality. My only knock; it was pretty expensive ($150 or so) to just rent clothes. But that's just the game you play I think. Nowhere is that much cheaper to rent. A major plus, though I choked and didn't return in the "three day return period" and they gifted me a fourth day, so I didn't have to pay anything. Nice guys/gals over there.

It's a long process but very much worth the effort. Tux was high quality and a great modern fit. In addition, I paid more for the same setup from Men's Warehouse and not only was the fit and styling atrocious, but I felt like I could still feel the person who wore it before me. Everything about Black Tux felt brand new and could not be more pleased with the fit and style.

I rented a suit for my friend's wedding through Black Tux. Little did I realize that they have a ridiculous return policy of three days, after which they automatically charge you for the full price of the suit. The wedding was on Saturday, I traveled home on Sunday, and I was working Monday and Tuesday and so didn't have time to return it (you need to physically bring it to a FedEx store). I received an email on Tuesday that said: "we assume you decided to keep the suit, so if we don't hear back from you in 24 hours we will charge you $940 for the suit!" (As if this janky suit was worth anywhere near that much!)

I immediately replied to tell them I did not want to keep the suit I was just a couple of days late on the return. They charged the $940 out of my account anyway and told me that they would refund it (minus a late fee) when they received the suit. It was the end of the month, so I ended up having to borrow money to pay my rent because of this. Even when I emailed them with the FexEx confirmation that the suit had been delivered, it took them more than a week to "process" the refund. They kept more than $100 as a late return fee, almost the price of the whole rental.

I would highly discourage anyone from using this service. Particularly making your groomsmen use this since they will have no idea and could get completely screwed over, as I did.

I rented five tuxedos, totaling over $900, for my wedding. Several groomsmen were traveling from out of state or country, so they shipped their tuxedos to my address. The Black Tux mistakenly sent two tuxes of my size. I was, therefore, one tuxedo short for my groomsmen, with the missing tux being for one groomsman who is significantly larger than me. There was no way for him to fit in a slim fit tux my size. This was not a small mistake. My groomsman has 100 lbs on me. He was fit by a professional tailor and input his measurements correctly into The Black Tux site. We called The Black Tux, but they said they could not help with short notice, even though the mistake was theirs by their own admission.

We scrambled to rent a tuxedo right before the wedding. Fortunately, we eventually found one. However, we could not find a perfect match for our Black Tux tuxedos. The replacement was more expensive than The Black Tux tuxedo. So now I spent more than $1100 on tuxedos for my wedding, and we didn't even match thanks to The Black Ttux.

After the wedding, I finally got in touch with a manager at The Black Tux after several failed attempts. I asked The Black Tux to refund the extra cost of the more expensive replacement tux ($200 vs. $132 at the black tux). The Black Tux refused. Clyde and Kevin at The Black Tux customer support admitted fault, but were unwilling to make this problem caused by The Black Tux right.

In an attempt to appease me, Clyde and Kevin did offer me a promo code, as if I would ever use this company again. I would not recommend using The Black Tux to anyone for any reason. Their employees are clearly incompetent on several levels. They do not care about their customers. They will not correct their own mistakes. If you need a nice tuxedo for an important event, I would strongly suggest looking somewhere else.

Finding a tux has always been difficult for me. I am a big guy, it's either too big or too small and uncomfortable, but this time it was perfect. I recommend this service to everyone, especially if you are a big and tall guy like me.

The website claims that their tuxedos are comparable to $1200 tuxedos on the market, but this could not be farther from the truth. If anything, the tuxedo is worth no more than $200. I am extremely disappointed in the quality and fit, and would never recommend them to anyone. One positive is that the customer service is responsive and will attempt to replace your size, however, they have no ability to improve the quality or tailored fit of the tuxedo.
