The Black Tux far exceeded my expectations. I placed my order for the suit, and before I got it, I received an email saying they recommended a different size (thankfully they did or my pants wouldn't have fit!). After receiving my suit, it fit great and was much more higher quality than I expected considering the price. It was a bit wrinkled due to it being shipped but I called, and they said they would even reimburse me if I got it pressed.

Everyone looked great on the wedding day and with the FedEx return label already supplied, shipping it back was hassle free. 100% would recommend The Black Tux to family and friends!

I used The Black Tux to rent three light gray suits for the groomsmen at my wedding. The process was very easy, and all the suits, ties, and vests were shipped 14 days before the wedding, providing plenty of time to try out the fit and make any adjustments if necessary.

You have the option of either paying for the suits entirely or sharing the cost across the groomsmen, which is a nice feature. After purchase, the Black Tux has an instruction guide to take measurements for your customized suit. You can measure yourself, have a friend measure, or even go to a tailor for the measurements.

Overall, it was a very smooth process, and I will be using this service for my next formal event rental.

Everything was great; very cheap, easy, and convenient. I had one issue early on where my account wasn't showing up correctly, but support resolved the issue within a few hours. These guys freaking rock! It fit like a beautifully customed fit glove. I looked dapper for my wedding and received so many compliments on my suit. Like with all things, there were some problems. Which as I implied is always to be expected. You should not judge something by the expected unexpected, but by how they deal it. The Black Tux had the most amazing customer service staff. Every time an issue arose with myself or any of my groomsman it was dealt with immediately with the greatest of results.

For a summary of what arose and how it was dealt with:

The groomsmen were all throughout the country, and one of them specifically was in Miami during the hurricane. Getting the sizes and everything with him was difficult. However, The Black Tux was very flexible in how to triangulate things, and he got his tux without issue and looked great

One of the groomsmen lost 25 pounds in a period of three months (don't ask me how) and needed new sizes in everything and with a week and a half to spare, was able to get everything sent over to him with enough time to make it perfect.

The best man did not try anything on until two days before the wedding, of course, and only realized then that his shirt did not fit. In less than 24 hours The Black Tux provided him with a perfectly fit replacement.

Truly a great experience and an amazing staff.

The Black Tux worked perfectly for us. Everything was on time, everything fit and the whole process was extremely easy. It was probably the least stressful part of the whole wedding, so thank you! Everything from the website, to the sizing guide, to the packaging was really well thought out and made getting Alex's suit super easy. Definitely going to tell all my engaged friends about it!

I am a guy who has always spent way too much time (and occasionally too much money) on always trying to look my absolute best and to stand out in a crowd at any and all formal or social occasions. So when I got notice SUPER last minute that I had a wedding to attend in less than three weeks, with absolutely no access to the suits and tuxedos I already own (in storage, while I work out of state for a long-term commitment), I was suggested to turn to The Black Tux. I was skeptical at first, thinking I would just turn in my measurements that I could remember by heart, and use a tape measure for the rest, I would resign myself to just being dressed "fairly ok for a rental that I got online, with such limited time and measurements." Boy, was I WRONG!

When my box arrived (right on time), I decided to try my order on (as instructed). Guys, I swear, this could have been one of my own suits, as if I just pulled it off the rack from my closet. The cut/tailoring was spot on. The packaging was compartmentalized, compact, and perfect, considering I was flying with the suit to my brother's wedding. All of the accessories were not only perfect, but perfectly packed in their own little bags and boxes (huge points), I consider myself a bit of a snob, but, this experience was perfect.

Unfortunately, my baby brother's wedding had to be canceled due to Hurricane Irma, and rescheduled for next March. I may not have got to wear this suit to my brother's wedding on this try, but I will 100% use The Black Tux when I see him tie the knot in March.

This was my first tuxedo rental, so I have nothing to compare it against. Nonetheless, I can hardly imagine a process simpler and better priced than this.

The instructions for taking your own measurements could use a tiny bit more explanation (for example whether to hold the tape measure taught or slack), but were overall great.

The suit arrived on time, fit nicely, was a great price, and looked great. Very happy with the quality, price, and service!

Rented tuxes for the entire bridal party. Everything from the free home try-on to returning the tuxes after the event went smoothly. As expected, items came for people that didn't fit perfectly, and they were replaced within a day or two. Having your tux two weeks before your event helps alleviate stress as well. Most importantly, however, is that you get a well-fitted tux that you can't get at a Men's Warehouse type. Quality and fit were refreshing.

I needed a tux for a wedding and wasn't trying to buy one (at the moment, anyway), and the groom recommended this service. He's a stylish, picky dude, so if the tuxes looked good enough to be in his wedding, that passed muster for me.

I went to Nordstroms to try on the shirt, coat, and pants, and my measurements were uploaded to my account, then I just shopped for the look I wanted. And it came when I needed and sent it back shortly after the wedding. Pretty easy. But the best part was that it looked great. That's the whole point, right?

At that point, I checked it for fit, and when it didn't fit as desired, I called customer service and got help. Customer service spoke me through the different options I had to adjust my order and then sent me the updated items at no extra cost.

After the event, I packed all of the items in a box and sent it back with a prepaid label. Super easy.

The Black Tux had stylish options and made it easy for all of my groomsmen to rent and return their suits at a very reasonable price.

I bought my own suit but needed a good rental option for my groomsmen. The Black Tux made it very simple; once I did my free at-home try on to finalize the style I wanted to rent, I set up my "event" on The Black Tux website. I was a big fan of being able to track my groomsmen's progress on submitting their orders via my event page. We had no issues getting the suits to the groomsmen. One individual even forgot to bring their suit (in their haste leaving for the airport and caring for their 1-year-old) and The Black Tux was able to expedite a replacement in time for the wedding! What a lifesaver!

Another huge benefit with the Black Tux: the service makes getting a replacement (for ill-fitting suits) very simple. There is an online form you just fill out detailing what doesn't fit and then a "fit specialist" contacts you within 24 hours. The best part is that you will get your replacement free of charge (granted you don't need expedited shipping). Lastly, the return process is as easy as it gets. You get three days to ship the box back using FedEx. That helps a great deal for destination weddings.

When the tux was initially mailed to me, some of the items were too large. After a quick call with one of the reps, they quickly sent some smaller sizes that fit much better.

I have used The Black Tux a number of times over the last couple of years, including for my wedding and several friends' weddings. I was initially skeptical, but after measuring, ordering, then trying on the tux from my house, I was convinced it was the best deal for tuxes out there. And extremely convenient at that. The customer service is fantastic; every issue that has come up was promptly resolved, whether it was a missing piece of an outfit (which happened once to a friend), or something not fitting quite right. The Black Tux will overnight you replacement sizes, assuming you try on the tux in time.

As far as the fit and look, I have received compliments every time I have used The Black Tux. After a year of weddings and wearing tuxes from Jos A Bank, Men's Wearhouse, and The Black Tux, I can definitely say that The Black Tux is significantly higher quality for the money. I highly recommend it for weddings or any other formal event.

You want to get tuxes for your groomsmen who may be located around the country, you want the tuxes to be nicer than Mens Warehouse quality, but you don't want to buy them? Take a look at The Black Tux. I was very impressed with the quality, as both my father and one other person wondered if they could buy the tux they got from The Black Tux. I had groomsmen from all sizes, including four college basketball players and one short/round fella.

Most impressive element? I loved the over the phone customer service, as I needed to make some changes throughout the process and they made everything smooth, simple and informative.

My only comment/suggestion would be that it would be nice if we could drop off our items in a store rather than only being able to ship them back, though I completely understand the reasoning for that.
