The product itself is built of good quality and looks fancy and stylish. Also, the stand is very robust and sturdy.
As the pod's angle is adjustable, I was able to set the device up on different nightstands without any problems. The only drawback of the design is the unattractive power cable.
ResMed wrote in their FAQs that it isn't compatible with any other devices using the Micro USB connector, but I were able to charge a normal power bank using it, and I was also able to power the S+ by using another Micro USB cable. Hence, you can buy for example an elegant white cable, so the design looks much better.
The App is equipped with many useful features and well sounding Relax to sleep and alarm sounds. Also, all data is displayed in fancy graphs. If you want to take a look at your sleep data in a bit more detailed way, you can also log in to their website where some more graphs are available.
To reduce the radiation around you while sleeping, I recommend to switch off Wi-Fi during the night, as the app syncs the sleep data automatically to the ResMed servers (in Ireland) when you activate it again next morning.
Bluetooth has to be enabled all the time If you would like to take the advantage of the Smart Alarm feature. Otherwise, it is also possible to cut the Bluetooth connection while sleeping, as the device itself saves the sleep data to an internal memory. The synchronization to the phone starts automatically once the device is connected via the app again.
To all Android users living anywhere else than in the USA: The Android app is only available in the USA version of Google PlayStore, but you can change the PlayStore region by looking it up online.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
