The forms required to fill out were repetitive and redundant and only accomplished a frustrating delay in providing the information advertised, i.e. a lower insurance premium. Even though I stopped filling out the forms when I saw a "red flag" asking for my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and did not submit, I have been receiving emails and phone calls with information about reducing my car insurance premiums.
I don't understand your leaning towards this company in a positive way. Not to warn about the request for a social security number is a serious omission on your part. The CEO of EverQuote should be investigated for fraud.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
