The pill simply isn't worth it.

I started with one pill instead of two. The first time I took a pill, I felt lightheaded and nauseous. I tried again, and this time things went smoothly, so I chalked it up to coincidence.

After a week of taking one pill per meal without incident, I bumped it up to two pills. TERRIBLE MISTAKE! I did this at work on my lunch break, and about 15 minutes after taking the pills I felt lightheaded, nauseous, jittery, hot, itchy, bloodshot eyes, tight throat, and extremely anxious. I was itching so much I broke skin! I was talking with a coworker when all this occurred, and he instantly noticed I wasn't feeling well. I had no choice but to tell him what I had done, even if weight loss pills were the last thing I wanted to admit taking. I was so unsettled by the way I was feeling that I felt someone should know in case anything further happened.

It's been over an hour after taking the recommended two pills, and I still feel terrible. It's just not worth it to me. I'd rather cut my food intake in half and eat a healthier diet while adding more exercise than ever ingest another Zantrex Black.

I tried Zantrex this morning. I took two pills. About 20 minutes later I had horrible stomach pain. Immediately following I felt very hot and itchy, and my skin broke out in a rash all over my body, face, arms, and legs. My heart was racing a 100 miles an hour. In an instant, I got very tired and felt like my heart rate plummeted. I put my hand over my heart and couldn't feel my heart beat. I was fighting to stay awake. My son was with me and took my pulse and said it was very slow. He rushed me to instant care. They took my blood pressure and told me they weren't equipped to handle this and rushed me to the ER. On the way, I couldn't talk and didn't have the energy to breathe. They kept waking me and told me to fight to stay awake. I felt like my heart was stopping and I was dying. No joke. It was the scariest moment of my life!

They put an IV in and got me fluids. I felt better about an hour later but felt horrible anxiety and jittery. Maybe that was in response to what I had just experienced or another side effect. I was in the ER for several hours. I just got home, and I feel okay now. It was an emotional experience and I feel horrible for scaring my husband and kids like that.

Do not take Zantrex Black. It is not worth the risk. Anything that does that to your body can't be safe. I will NEVER take anything like that ever again! I don't know how some of these other reviews have anything positive to say about it. Either they aren't real reviews, or I had an extremely bad reaction. Be careful. I wish I had read reviews first before trying it.

I purchased Zantrex Black because it was on sale and I wanted to try a diet pill. I took one pill and a little while later I couldn't think straight. I got so confused. My tongue felt like it was swollen and I couldn't pronounce my words. I felt like I was having a stroke. Please be aware of side effects that are not listed.

I took two pills this morning around 8:15 am, I was on an empty stomach. About 15 minutes later, I began to feel very hot (like a hot flash but 10 times more). My face, chest, hands, and arms were very hot, and my skin so red it seemed as if it was going to explode. My face, lips, ears, tongue, arms, and hands began to itch like crazy. I felt tightness in my chest, and my heart rate was racing and with very fast palpitations. I got a terrible headache, and my blood pressure was very high. I had to go to Urgent Care to see what was wrong. I have to follow up with a cardiologist. I would never recommend this product, Zantrex Black, to anyone.

I started taking Zantrex Black at the beginning of January. My weight loss goal is 40-45 pounds. I did a lot of research on diet and weight loss pills. I think it’s all a scam, to be honest.

Anyway, I took two capsules before lunch on a Wednesday, and it did give me a boost of energy and curved my appetite. I don’t believe you need diet pills or supplements to lose weight. I believe that if you stop eating fast food and junk food like sweets, candy, fried foods, and “crap food” as my husband calls it, and add an exercise program, you will lose the weight.

I didn’t have any negative results other than just one. The capsules gave me so much energy that I couldn’t sleep. I’ve been awake for over 24 hours, and I’m still not tired. This is nuts. I’ve read reviews where people have had hot flashes, rapid heart racing, even where in some instances they had to be rushed to the hospital. Take it at your own risk!

I had a horrible allergic reaction three times, and the last two were really bad. I finally narrowed it down to it being caused by the Zantrex Black. Heart palpitations, extreme nervousness, turned beat red with a rash. My head felt like it was on fire. Thank goodness I had Benadryl on hand for two bad episodes; I thought I was going to die. I won't be ever taking this product again.

I had to rate, so I gave it one star only because that was the lowest I could rate it at.

I would not recommend this to anybody. The headache is not worth it, OMG, I just took some Tylenol and it eased away within 20 minutes. Don't take this unless you want a BAD headache. I felt shaky, it didn't give me any energy, it decreased my hunger, but heck, that probably gave me a bad headache too. I don't think anything on the market is safe. The hospital said that weight loss pills don't work, they just give you bad side effects, and to me, if you gotta deal with crap like that, it ain't worth it.

Though this product kept me wakeful, it also turned me into an insomniac. Though it curbed my appetite perfectly, I lost only ONE pound in one month, AND I was not eating any unhealthy foods NOR WAS I in excess of 2000 calories a day.

This product made me itch all over my body within 20 minutes before I ate. Try something else. This company is only trying a different scheme to make money off of the hopeful.

I have taken this pill in the past with no problems. Today within 10 minutes I had broken out in hives, face, arms, and hands. So bad that I went to convenient care and my blood pressure was extremely high. Loaded me up with Benadryl and still 7 hours later, my arms are still red, raised, and itchy. Face and neck are better but still itchy. Start on steroids tomorrow.

I just bought these today and I took two this evening before dinner...within 10 minutes of taking them I felt like I was on fire! My face was blood red, my arms and my chest were broke out in hives, my blood felt like it was pounding through my body and I was on fire. It has been about an hour and a half and it is eased up some now. I still feel like my heart is racing but the redness has gone away, however, I will definitely not be finishing the rest of my bottle and I would not recommend this to anyone else, as typically I have no allergies to anything and this is the first time I’ve ever had a reaction like this to any pills.

I have tried just about every diet/energy pill out there and have NEVER been so afraid for my life. There is niacin in this so I expected the red/tingling skin, but 30 minutes after I told 2 capsules I was driving and had to pull over. My vision started fading and I fainted to the asphalt. My husband caught me and kept me focused not on the thought of death. My vision went black and I could only hear my husband's voice. I was sure I was going to die. I couldn't breathe and my heart was racing. After about 15 minutes and a Gatorade, coconut water, and a bottle of water I finally could see and breathe again. After about 45 minutes I was so tired and had the worst headache. This experience has changed my life; I will not be consuming any sort of workout supplements ever again.
