I will and have recommended Clear TV

By Allie , Arnold, PA

I have had mine for almost a year. I have recommended this antenna to five others in my building. I live in the back of the high rise so I get less channels than the ones living in front. Still, all the channels come in great except GetTV which on occasion loses its signal. The best part of that channel is you don't lose any time when the signal breaks, which is only momentarily.

I highly recommend Clear TV.

Clear TV Review

By Raisa , Magnolia NC

Just brought Clear TV from Walmart yesterday. I have to say I get 25 clear channels in my bedroom such as ABC, Fox, Bounce, PBS, Ion, etc. Now I can watch Scandal as well as other shows.

Cheap hunk of plastic

By Anonymous , Largo, FL

When I first got the Clear TV antenna, I had no shipping hassle. However, it received no channels. When I fiddled with the power plug, I found out that it takes off the warning and actually displays static. My TV is from 2012 so I took it apart to try to see what was wrong. It was a big box with a tiny little chip with a blow capacitor in it. I think it's cheap Chinese sobering material and one cable for the so-called antenna. That was a lie because there's no antenna, just IR sensors and flashing lights.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Don't be a dummy!

By Justin , Houston, TX

Ok, want to know what you're getting? An antenna, yes a simple TV antenna that has been around since the 1940s. There is nothing special here. Just go to Radio Shack and buy yourself a better antenna. I found a decent one by RCA that has an 80 mile range. This is just a scam. In the Houston area there are about 110 channels available. Unless you speak Spanish or love religious programming, only 20 of the channels are of value.

Poor on VHF

By Jim , Benson, NC

This antenna is a minimal performer at best. By itself it does ok on UHF only channels. I added a Winegard Pre-amp to it and it made a great difference. Still at best, it's a poor performer on VHF only because it received just one channel. It does not come complete as they want extra for cables, an amplifier, and ten dollars for a stand. Many companies are now trying to feature novelty Scotch tape type antennas. With some silicone sealer and an extension coax cable you could mount it outside and it would last a few years.

Don't be fooled. It's terrible.

By Joshua , Jefferson City, MO

I first saw Clear TV on a late night infomercial. The way the antenna was described seemed like a once in a lifetime deal. It said it was 100% guaranteed. I got one, what a crock. I did everything they recommended including moving my TV by the window. In fact, my town that I live in has more than one tower nearby. I live in the middle of tow, and there are no trees by the window that the clear TV is by. I can only get 6 channels and half of the time they don't even come in. To add to that, the channels break up so easy just by walking nearby and when the vehicles on the road pass. I would just have cable or satellite. I am so mad and disappointed. I feel so dumb for buying it.

Mislead, Don't believe the hype

By Melvin L. Lynn , Cleveland, OH

Clear TV HD is clearly a rip off. I lost the local Channel CBS and Fox does not come in either. I had to go to Walmart to get an amp. I'm telling all my friends and family to not fall for it. And the way they sell it is a rip off too. Come on, $15.00 dollars for two cheap antennas? What a rip off.

Clear TV - works here!

By Jerri , Somerset, PA

We have purchased 3 different indoor antennas. We got 3 channels but only when the wind wasn't blowing. If there was any wind at all they would just scrabble and we were unable to even watch the news. Bought the Clear TV antenna at Walmart for $14.88. Plugged it in and we can now get 4 channels without being worried about the wind and weather. I did not expect to get more channels than that because of our location but the channels we DO get are crystal clear. Without high expectations for something too good to be true we are extremely pleased.

By Laura Howard , Flint MI

Won't even pick up the local TV channel less than 2 miles away. Nothing but a piece of crap. Don't waste your money like I did.

Not bad for a rural area

By Luke , Rural Kansas

I live out in Rural Kansas. I had been using a rabbit ears and I got like 25 local channels but only 2 of them were worth watching as the rest had bad reception. I tried Clear TV knowing that it wasn't going to give cable channels. Picked up the same 25 channels plus a few extra. Definitely clear picture and reception. Basically this product merely improved my reception. Still have all the same channels as before but now I can actually watch them.
